Episode notes

Welcome to the Wired for Wonder podcast! Meryl Eriksen is a compassionate leadership expert and purpose-driven strategist who nurtures leaders and organizations to cultivate growth, build confidence, foster connection, and inspire joy. A native of Skaneateles, New York, Meryl graduated from Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration and was the first to complete its collaborative degree program with the Culinary Institute of America. Meryl began her hospitality career in Napa Valley with Hillstone Restaurant Group, then helped launch two successful restaurants in Manhattan Beach. In 2010, she returned to the Finger Lakes to work with the Inns of Aurora, a company widely recognized for its people-first culture and nurturing leadership. There, she spent over a decade leading initiatives focused on recruiting, training, development, coaching, and team culture - laying the groundwork for her lifelong commitment to building environments where people and purpose thrive. Now Chief Compassion Officer at Compassionate Leaders Circle, Meryl channels her superpower of nurturing into executive coaching, leadership development programs, and organizational transformation.
