I launched the most powerful Fitness Coaching Platform in the world

The CreateU Experience · 2025-08-27 · 19 min

0:00--:--

Brendan Myers, CEO of MyCoachAI, shares an unfiltered account of launching what he positions as the most comprehensive fitness coaching platform in the market. MyCoachAI consolidates functionality from multiple disparate tools - Trainerize, True Coach, EverFit, PT Distinction, Evolution, Nutrition, MyFitnessPal, Kajabi, Teachable, and Google Drive/Sheets - into a single interface where coaches and trainers can automate client management tasks including payment processing, workout adjustments, meal planning, and auto-messaging based on membership tiers and client tags. Beyond product details, Myers reflects candidly on the three-year journey's personal cost: 14-16 hour workdays, significant health challenges including illness and physical ailments that persist, separation from a relationship, and geographic relocation through Mexico, Colombia, Spain, and Argentina. He frames the struggle as essential to growth, drawing parallels between business perseverance and completing difficult workout sets. For B2B operators in fitness tech, this episode offers insight into the consolidation thesis in coaching software and motivational framing around founder resilience, though technical depth on platform capabilities is limited.

Key takeaways

  • →MyCoachAI consolidates eight-plus fitness coaching and business management platforms into one system with automation for workouts, meals, payments, and client messaging based on tags and membership levels.
  • →The platform targets coaches, trainers, and small wellness businesses drowning in repetitive administrative tasks across fragmented software stacks.
  • →Building transformative software required CEO Brendan Myers to endure sustained health challenges, extreme work hours, geographic instability, and personal relationship strain over three years.
  • →Intuition-driven decision-making - from choosing where to base operations (Cordoba, Argentina) to major business pivots - proved more reliable to Myers than analytical deliberation alone.
  • →Trust in oneself, team (particularly CTO Josh), and a higher power or belief system can sustain founders through acute suffering and ambiguous business progress.

Speaker D: we ignite your breakthrough.

Speaker C: Create your experience and bring your vision to life.

Speaker E: Uh, I can't sit around and wait till it goes right? Cause I've been hopping over obstacles my whole life. I got a vision and I know it's about to take flight. I'm dedicated to growth. I keep my mind right. I fell down, got up. I'm unbreakable. Anything in my way I' ma breakthrough. Lights, camera, action. Take two. Can't worry about what they do. You gotta create you.

Speaker C: So wow. I don't know how else to start this off, but just say thank you. Uh, I'm Brendan, the host here. The create you experience where we ignite your breakthrough and bring your vision to life. And we've been here together for a while now. And today, officially, as I'm recording this podcast, we have launched my coach AI. This is a software that I've been the CEO of for three years. I put every single dime that I've ever had into this software. I have gotten sick for this software. It has been the absolute most challenging ride I have ever been on. And a lot of things have suffered. And I sit here in my new apartment in Cordoba, Argentina, thinking, wow, wow, wow. I don't know what other word to use except for wow. And what's interesting is I don't have all these people around me. I'm in a foreign country to celebrate with. I have myself and I don't even feel the that energy to celebrate. I don't know why and to cut this real quick, uh, so that everybody understands what my coach AI is. It's an all in one consolidated platform for coaches and trainers and small businesses in the health and wellness space to be able to serve their clients. So if you ever heard of trainerize, True Coach, EverFit, PT Distinction, Evolution, Nutrition, My fitness pal Kajabi, Teachable Thinkification and platforms alike. Google Drive, Google Sheets, all of them. We have consolidated these softwares and platforms into one. And now coaches and trainers are able to automate the repetitive tasks that they are bombarded with daily. They're able to turn things off and on everywhere in the system according to clients and tags and what level of membership they have. They can take payments, they can do auto messages, they can do auto workout adjustments, they can do auto meal plans. It's incredible. And I'm sitting here seriously thinking to myself, wow, Freaking wow. How I was this kid when I was 13 years old, acne filling my face, feeling like just so worthless to then playing high school football and collegiate football, teaching millions of people around the world about calisthenics. I was just downstairs yesterday in my building here in Cordoba, Argentina. And this person who is a, um, desa rojador, I'm thinking in Spanish, a programmer, a software, um, developer has been following me for like seven and a half, eight years. And he comes up to me, he's like, man, I've been following you for so long and it's wild that you live here. And we're speaking in Spanish. Hello, crazy. And the fact that we're. That I was. We were. I, uh, keep on trying to speak in we, but there's so many things that I've been able to accomplish that I don't generally. I don't know, I don't generally give myself enough respect or.

Speaker F: Hey, what's up, guys? It's Haley Bailey. Okay, I need to tell you about something. I just got YouTube Premium. It's got tons of awesome features like offline downloads, so I can download my favorite videos before I travel and watch them whenever. I don't have WI fi because we all know airplane wi Fi is the worst. I get ad free. I get background play, and there's like a ton more in there. You should try it. If you like YouTube, you'll love YouTube Premium. Try it now for two months free@YouTube.com premium. Trial eligibility varies terms apply. Cancel anytime. That's a mouthful.

Speaker A: For my family, I'm always at my best. That's why I also want the best in my kitchen. And that means only Eglund's best eggs. They're always so fresh tasting and delicious with 6 times more vitamin D, 10 times more vitamin E and 25% less saturated fat than ordinary eggs. So why give your family less when they can have the best egglands Best. Better taste, better nutrition, better eggs. For added convenience, look for our hard cooked peeled eggs.

Speaker C: Presents or rewards for the work that I've put in and the people that I've helped and uh, but I want to do that today. And wow, how far we've come over the last two years. Last three years, I've really suffered. I remember when I was in Mexico, I locked myself in my new apartment. I kept on getting sick and sick I was working 14, 16 hour days, only sleeping about seven hours. So to me, uh, you know, that's fine, seven hours is good. But I was working all the hours outside of that. Maybe I would go for a run, maybe I would work out. But I lost so much weight and consistently I was challenged. And when I was crying and I couldn't breathe because of my certain sicknesses that I had, I ended up getting Covid and other things. I just tried to come back to the purpose, remembering that. Brendan, although it hurts, although it's hard, although all these things are popping up for you in these moments. Keep going, Brendan. Keep going. And I don't know why, fam, I don't know why, it's hard to even put into words, but I just kept on going. And the more the ailments came is the more that I kept on going. And today I sit here with certain ailments that just won't go away and that I've just accept it. And I went to go see doctors, I went to see a spine surgeon, I went to see a neurologist. Just a lot of things and just is what it is. You get dealt things y', all and it just is what it is. Even recently, uh, me and someone that I was dating quite some time, we decided to separate and, and it's tough, but I always come back to it is what it is and what is meant to be will always be. And me being on the floor struggling to breathe and calling my very close friend Erica, I'm actually going to call her after this. And expressing how hard it was in the moment, my stress and my anxiety and also the. I was on like this breathing machine that I had, uh, that I had to utilize and knowing that I was able to break through that and continue forward and build something so powerful with an incredible team which I could not have done this at all with one person, Josh, who is our cto, and many of these other people that are on this team. It's so powerful what happens when you put your faith in yourself and you put your faith in your team and the people around you. And if you do believe in God and than putting your faith in something like, uh, a higher power like God or Jesus, it really is powerful. And so I guess this, this podcast is turning into something somewhat motivational, like, hey, keep on going. And when you feel down and bad or you feel like you're alone, or you feel there's nothing else on the other side, just keep going. It's like a workout. You hit three reps, and it's getting challenging. Hit five reps, getting even more challenging. Hit seven reps. It's really, really challenging. And you want to quit. But it says on, um, the workout to do 12 reps. And if you complete those 12 reps and you trust the process, more times than not, you feel great. You feel incredible. And so here it is, fam. Trust the process. Come on. Trust the process. You've got this. And although it might be so overwhelming at times, and you don't know if you can even keep on going, you can think of Navy Seals, think of rock climbers without any equip.

Speaker D: If you like YouTube, you'll love YouTube Premium. Hi, I'm Sean Evans from Hot Ones, and I want to tell you about YouTube Premium. It has offline downloads, so you can watch without WI fi background play, so you can lock your phone. And it still plays, baby. Oh, and it is completely ad free. Yes, I said it ad free. Try YouTube Premium for two months free at YouTube.com premium. Trial eligibility varies, terms apply. Cancel anytime.

Speaker C: Think of people who have world Guinness Book records. Think of all of those people, those communities who have done things unimaginable. You can. So here I am, smarter, faster, genius. My coach, AI I. Wow, man. Let me give you a little rundown of the last year. Um, I was in Mexico, moved to Colombia, moved back to Mexico, was in Mexico for about. I ended up leaving after five months. I have residency in Mexico, which is really cool. And I was like, you know what? I'm gonna go to Spain and I'm gonna get the rest of my leg tattooed. So I finished my entire leg sleeve, and I was like, wow, this place here in Spain is just beautiful. The people, the food was incredible. The ambiance. There's a hustle about it, but there's also a calmness about it, which I love, but something was pulling me to Argentina, and I could not understand why. I don't know what it was, but something was pulling me. And I went to Buenos Aires, and I was like, you know, I'm going to give it a week. I'm going to test it out, and then I have to go back home for studies and tests and stuff. And, uh, I started in Buenos Aires, and I was like, man, I'm gonna stay here. This is a great place. But then something told me, yo go to Cordoba, Argentina, Cordoba, capital. And so I went to Cordoba, um, and that's where I live now. And it shocked me. I was like, I don't like this place at all. But something was still telling me to stay. Trusting my intuition, trust in my gut. And so I ended up leaving here and going back to the States for some tests and things that I had to do. Go see a neurologist. Some. Some pretty serious things were going on, and they still are. So I'm trying to figure some things out. But I went to Florida, hung out with my family for about a month. And I was like, you know what? I am moving to Argentina. No if, ands, or buts. And I'm going to Buenos Aires. I'm so excited. I go to Buenos Aires, I'm looking for apartments, and I'm like, oh, my gosh, why does Cordoba keep pushing me there, Pulling me to Cor Capital. What is it about this place? So I went to Cordoba Capital. I was like, you know, I'm going to try it out for a week. Let me see what. What it's all about. And then I found a place. It was just my calling. And I stayed here. And ever since, uh, right when I arrived, I started talking to somebody, and her and I dated for about seven months. Like, they called her Chongo. Who. Which is, you're not really in a relationship, but you're in a relationship. It's a situationship. And, um, yeah, that was interesting. And then, uh, I got robbed in my apartment. Fun fact. They robbed my A7S3, my lenses. I think it was just one lens. They also stole my mini iPad and, um, some money. And so I moved from that place and moved to a new place. And, uh, I had a couple months left, and I really enjoyed my time there. And I started searching for another place. And so, like, you know what? I'm not going to leave Cordoba, Argentina, until I'm successful in my own terms, in my own way. And so I moved back. So I am here. I am back. I am here. And, uh, I don't Plan on deviating to another country. Uh, this is and feels like home to me. I've learned Spanish, which is crazy in my own mind. I'm just like, wow, I know Spanish. I can speak all day with anybody I want. Really, really cool. And, um, I have my apartment. I have an office here. So I ended up getting an office, getting really, really focused. And now I just live here, uh, full time, and I share this stuff and giving you some updates. I haven't really been on YouTube. I haven't really been on social media too much outside of working on the business to give you, like, I don't know, this state of trust your gut, trust your intuition. If it tells you to be somewhere, be there. Even right now, I'm going through a little bit of this, uh, heartache with a girl. Totally fine, normal, used to. It happens. And I can't help but feel this stay here, Brendan feeling. Stay here, stay here. And I don't know why I couldn't tell you. I couldn't tell you. But the second that I feel a pull to go somewhere else, I will go. Because I trust my gut. And that's the same thing I do with business. Um, when I'm navigating, I'm building something. And thankfully for me, my heart is in everything that I. That I engage in. And it doesn't really leave. Um, but in business, like, I mean, in the actual business itself, when I have to run ads or I have to hire or I have to let go of somebody, or we have to make an adjustment with an sop, whatever it is, I trust my gut and I make a decision. No matter how chaotic things are, no matter how challenging something may be, I trust my gut, I trust my intuition. There's nothing less that I can do. Because when I deviate away from trusting my gut, trusting my intuition, it leads me down a path of suffering and more suffering than I need. And I do believe suffering is important to us as humans. But at the same time, there's only so much suffering that any of us want to be doing right. And so. Sheesh. I just got off a call, actually about, uh, an hour and 45 minutes ago, launching to a partner AR Funnels, and there was about 45 coaches on there. Awesome. It was awesome experience, awesome time, really exciting to see. And, uh, I am. I'm just. I'm filled with gratitude. I'm filled with happiness. I'm thankful to be alive. I'm thankful to be 31 years old going on 32, knowing that I'm. I'm on the right path, and that my life makes sense. And that even though at many times it didn't make sense, even now, actually, sometimes it just doesn't make sense. I'm like, what, I'm, uh, CEO or a software company. How does that make any sense? But when I come back to it and I look at it from a bird's eye view, it all makes sense. It all does. And sometimes you're in a weird spot and you're like, man, I don't know if this does make sense to me, Brendan. I don't know if this is, like, right for me. Uh, it does. Trust it. Even if it's such a difficult decision to make. Um, I made a decision recently that was really, really tough, but I felt like I had to make it in the moment, and I did it. And, um, it wasn't the greatest decision. And do I regret it? No. However, can I learn from it? Absolutely. And because of it, I have to suffer a little bit. That's just the name of the game. When we trust our guts, when we trust our intuition, many times, uh, we might suffer. Yeah. But that doesn't mean that we're going to suffer a lot more chronically. It can be more acute suffer. And that right there is okay. And that's actually quite good. When we are able to bring in the pain and recognize it, observe it, and learn through it. Creates a lot of opportunity for us, folks. It does. And I found myself through more suffering, through more decisions, through more trusting my gut, more calm, and I'm more grounded and I'm more firm in my path and my steps that I want to take in my life, and that's it. So whatever you're going through today, whatever you're feeling, it's all good. I actually have that tatted on my right wrist. I remember years ago, I was, man, that was a tough punch. Part my life as well, a different type of suffering, Physically suffering, mentally suffering. And I felt like it was never going to end. I felt so sick for months and months and months and months and months. Very, very horrible things that have happened to me during those times. It's all documented on YouTube. And even through that, I was like, my gut tells me to keep going. And I trusted it. My gut told me to leave that situation and go straight to California. And I did it. Great decision. My gut told me to move to Denver, Colorado, and I listened to it. Boom. Built a gym, sold the gym, did a lot of great things. My gut told me to move to Mexico. My gut told me to move to Colombia, Spain, Argentina. And look where I am. Nothing has held me back. If anything, it has propelled me forward. I was so thankful. I can say this. God is good. And when you trust in something, when you have faith in something, even if it's not God, it's faith in you. And you have faith in your journey, more times than not, it works out. Might not work out in the exact way that you're thinking, but it works out.

Speaker A: Ah.

Speaker C: Uh man. MyCoachAI.com Smarter, faster, genius. I can't believe. Leave it. Our goal is to be a billion dollar company, go ipo, be public traded. That's what it means.
