Insight Density
The episode is almost entirely filler, self-interruption, and vague assertion. The sole substantive idea - a performance-based pricing model with a small deposit - is stated in passing and never unpacked with any actionable depth.
if you're really not happy with this, we'll give you the initial refund back too. So we've never had to give a refund back.
I went on a little bit long on that one.
Originality
The performance-based agency model is widely known, and the observation that classic copywriting principles still apply digitally is one of the most recycled takes in marketing. No first-principles reasoning or contrarian argument is offered.
all of the old school stuff from Dan Kennedy, not Carlton... It still works in the digital world. And they're just like all these guys are going like, oh, it's a new discovery. It's like, no, it's not weird on that 30 years ago.
it's kind of stabilized
Guest Caliber
There is no guest; the host delivers an unstructured monologue. Claimed decades of experience is wholly unsupported by any demonstrated track record, named clients, or verifiable outcomes within the episode.
I've been around this started selling since a long, long, long time. Decades and decades.
it's really me, it's not an AI clone.
Specificity & Evidence
The only concrete figure in the entire episode is a deposit range of $500 to 'a couple grand.' There are no named clients, no performance metrics, no case studies, and no data of any kind.
we take anywhere from 500, usually it's a couple grand
we don't do long term contracts. We only do monthlies.
Conversational Craft
This is an unstructured solo monologue with no guest, no prepared questions, no follow-through on any point, and the host explicitly acknowledges the content was improvised after failing to keep a video under 40 seconds.
I've been trying to do a 40 second video on this, but they keep going to three minutes. So I'm just gonna go with this one and um, we'll see how this plays out. See you.
I'm just trying uh, to chill out here for a little bit.

Send us Fan Mail A Guaranteed Approach To Your Marketing What if your marketing agency only got paid when they delivered results? In this episode, Andrew Anderson discusses a different approach to marketing services - one built around accountability, transparency, and measurable outcomes instead of long-term contracts and empty promises. Andrew shares how his team structures client relationships, why they require a small initial commitment to ensure both parties are serious, and how a results-focused model can create better outcomes for businesses and agencies alike. He explains why confidence in your skills changes the way you sell, the importance of setting realistic expectations, and why many traditional agency models fail to deliver value. The conversation also dives into the timeless marketing principles that continue to work today, despite the rise of AI and rapidly changing technology. From David Ogilvy and Dan Kennedy to modern digital marketing strategies, Andrew explains why the fundamentals of persuasion, communication, and customer psychology remain as relevant as ever.

Speaker A: Welcome to the AI Advantage for Local Business. The show where local entrepreneurs and businesses learn to work less, earn more and use AI to dominate their market. If you want higher profits, fewer headaches and get more of your time back, you're in the right place. Here's your host, AI expert Andrew Anderson.
Speaker B: How about a marketing agency that you only pay for results? It is possible. That's what our model is these days. So if we come in and do marketing consulting, give us a small deposit to get us started. So we don't want to waste our time with the tire kicker. And seriously, if you're another agency, you should do this too. But um, we take anywhere from 500, usually it's a couple grand, uh, to make sure they're not, they've actually got their act together and they're serious about it because we're not going to do a bunch of work for them and then not get paid because they're goofballs. So when you do this, um, then we figure out the results that we say we can get. And if they're not happy with them, one, you don't pay us for the agreed among monthly rate. We don't, we don't do long term contracts. We only do monthlies. And then, um, if you're really not happy with this, we'll give you the initial refund back too. So we've never had to give a refund back. I've got some people that you know, we didn't get along with. And what this allows you to do is a, this for other agency owners too and businesses if you know you can't do it for all stuff but for our things, because we know our stuff actually flipping works. If you're an agency owner, this will change what you're doing. But if you don't know what you're doing, it'll put you out of business. Okay. Flat out. And if you don't know what you're doing, you shouldn't be in business anyway. Uh, so at least that, that's my humble, humble opinion here. I'm just trying uh, to chill out here for a little bit. But, but we got so much cool stuff going on right now, it's, it's not even funny. The things with the AI, it's kind of stabilized. Uh, and there's so many old school stuff and uh, you know, we're, I've been around this started selling since a long, long, long time. Decades and decades. And what's crazy is all of the uh, from uh, all the old school stuff from Dan Kennedy, not Carlton. There's a, there's a bunch of clips Clayton make piece is probably the one of the other guys, the hidden one nobody knows about and uh, you know, Ogilvy and everything else. It still works in the digital world. And they're just like all these guys are going like, oh, it's a new discovery. It's like, no, it's not weird on that 30 years ago. So anyway, it's just I, I went on a little bit long on that one. But uh, so anyway, it's really me, it's not an AI clone. And uh, so that's it. Got any questions, suggestions? You got marketing issue. You want to make more money on our stuff, let us know. And kind uh, of risk free, you know, uh, as long as you, we do the work and then you do the follow up and give us stuff we need. If you don't, if you basically don't make money, you don't pay us or you're not happy with the results. So I don't want it. Whatever legal things that I got to say that we can't guarantee you're going to make money or anything that could include all that. Okay. Because I don't want to get in trouble. Someone saying you guaranteed that we were going to make a million dollars. It's like, no, I don't do. So. So anyway, so I, I've been trying to do a 40 second video on this, but they keep going to three minutes. So I'm just gonna go with this one and um, we'll see how this plays out. See you.
Speaker A: Enjoyed the show. Don't keep it to yourself. Share it with a business owner who wants more time and more money. Subscribe now. And let's keep turning AI into pure profit. See you.
