Five dimensions, 20 points each
Ashley June addresses a counterintuitive diagnosis for struggling Christian entrepreneurs: what looks like a sales problem is usually a spiritual and emotional foundation issue. Drawing from her own 2024 experience of questioning her $1 million business after a February launch that didn't meet expectations, she reveals how fear, heaviness, comparison, and spiritual emptiness masqueraded as sales failures. She references 2 Peter 1:5-7, which identifies eight areas of internal lack that manifest as business stagnation. Rather than adding more tactical strategies (funnels, content calendars, ad spend), Christian women building faith-based online businesses need to diagnose what's happening in their mind, body, and spirit first. This framework applies whether you're launching your first offer or scaling from six to seven figures. The episode promotes her free Biblical Sales Fix masterclass, designed to help coaches, course creators, and Christian entrepreneurs identify the real root of their business struggles and move from survival mode to overflow.
A fullness problem refers to lacking spiritual, emotional, or mental wholeness - experiencing fear, heaviness, fog, or emptiness in your faith and mind - which manifests as poor sales results. Sales problems appear to be about execution or strategy, but the real issue is the internal state of the woman carrying the business.
A single launch in February 2024 that underperformed her 2023 results triggered questioning and emotional turmoil, causing her to doubt her calling, her offers, and her clients' needs. This led to fear-based inaction, stopped marketing, and brain fog for most of the year, even though her launch numbers were still strong objectively.
The masterclass uses 2 Peter 1:5-7, which identifies eight areas of internal lack, to help entrepreneurs diagnose what's actually happening in their mind, body, and spirit when sales are inconsistent, rather than defaulting to tactical or strategic fixes.
The online business industry focuses entirely on tactics, execution, and strategy (funnels, content, ads) rather than the spiritual and emotional foundation of the woman running the business, so entrepreneurs assume they need more strategies when the real issue is internal wholeness.
She references the Israelites circling the wilderness for 40 years after leaving Egypt - miles from the promised land but kept there by grumbling and avoiding inner work - as a metaphor for entrepreneurs stuck in survival mode instead of moving toward their calling.
Our reviewer’s read on each dimension, with quotes from the episode.
The episode operates primarily on platitudes and promotional messaging rather than substantive insights. The core claim - that sales problems are actually 'fullness problems' rooted in spiritual/emotional issues rather than execution - is presented without rigorous breakdown, specific examples, or diagnostic frameworks. The promised '8 areas from 2 Peter 1:5-7' are never actually detailed or explored; instead, the host repeatedly directs listeners to a separate masterclass. Most content consists of personal anecdote (the 2024 launch struggle), general exhortations, and calls-to-action.
you think that you have a sales problem, but today I'm gonna kind of break down what actually is going on
the mistakes, you know, that we, that we make as Holy Spirit led women, when sales are in inconsistent or market, you know, place changes are happening
The framework conflates generic 'mindset' advice with a veneer of biblical language. Linking business struggles to spiritual fullness/emotional state is neither new nor contrarian in Christian coaching spaces; the comparison/scarcity mindset angle and the Israelites wilderness metaphor are well-worn in this niche. The episode does not introduce first-principles thinking or genuinely counterintuitive reasoning - it repackages existing coaching clichés ('it's not about tactics, it's about the person underneath') through a faith lens.
you literally show up every day in your business and you're like, what's my strategy? What do I need to execute?
it's about the woman underneath it all, right?
This is a solo host episode with no guest. Speaker A (the host, Ashley June) is a self-identified 7-figure business coach, but the episode contains no independent operator, founder at scale, or practitioner being interviewed. The episode is pure promotion of the host's own programs, making guest caliber evaluation not applicable.
I'm your Host, Ashley June, MBA 7 figure business coach
The episode lacks concrete data, named examples, or real evidence. The host's personal anecdote about a 'bad launch' in February 2024 is vague (she admits 'it all actually started because I had, quote unquote, a bad launch' and later concedes 'honestly wasn't even a bad launch, my numbers were still really great'). No specific metrics, conversion rates, revenue figures, or client case studies are provided. The promised diagnostic framework (8 biblical areas) is never detailed. The Israelites metaphor is illustrative but not substantive business evidence.
I ended up spending. Spending a whole year just really, really frozen
my numbers were still really great. Like, if I, um, I ended up stopping marketing, like completely
This is a monologue with no genuine conversation or challenging follow-ups. The host talks at the audience without interviewing anyone or inviting substantive debate. Multiple moments reveal lack of rigor: hesitation ('I, um, I ended up'), trailing thoughts, and tangential anecdotes (kids whining in the car). No hard questions are posed to herself or explored systematically. The tone is motivational cheerleading ('Let's go girls,' 'hit send') rather than intellectual probing. The closing 5+ minutes are pure promotional copy for her programs, not conversational substance.
So grab your electrolytes or reheat that same cup of coffee for the third time and let's step step into today's episode with big visions and radical boldness
I literally told them, I was like, did you know that the Israelites after they were delivered out of Egypt were circling the wilderness for 40 years

I want to share something nobody in the online Christian business coaching world is actually saying right now. You're showing up, posting, and praying - but you’re still stuck. Today I'm telling you what's actually going on. What you'll learn in this episode: - How I hit $1M in 2023 and then spent all of 2024 completely frozen, and what a bad launch triggered in me that I never saw coming. - Why as a Christian online business owner you don't have a sales problem, you have a fullness problem rooted in 2 Peter 1:5-7. - The mistake Holy Spirit-led online entrepreneurs keep making when sales are inconsistent, and why adding more strategy on top of a broken foundation will never fix it. - Why comparing your chapter 1 to someone else's chapter 10 is silently destroying your ability to grow a faith-based online coaching business. Speaker B: So grab your electrolytes or reheat that same cup of coffee for the third time and let's step step into today's episode with big visions and radical boldness. Let's go girls.
Speaker A: So I want to share something with you guys that I don't think anyone in the online business world is actually really saying right now. Okay. You are showing up, you're posting, you're praying, you know, but like you still feel so stuck in your online business or ministry and so like you keep circling the same mountain and there's so much hope deferred in. Did God actually call me to this? Right? Like, am I actually supposed to do this thing and you think that you have a sales problem, but today I'm gonna kind of break down what actually is going on. And before we get into this, we have a new webinar up and going called the Biblical Sales Fix. It's actually gonna go way deeper into a diagnosis with whatever is going on with your sales right now, whether you're a brand new person in the online business space, the coaching, course, creation Space. And you're just, like, trying to figure out, you know, how to get this thing launched, how to actually make things convert, or whether you're experienced and you're in the middle of just, like, walking through hardship. Nothing seems to be working. And you're just trying to, you know, like, grip so tightly to your plan, but it's just not panning out. So go. Go watch. The biblical sales fix link is in the show notes right now, and it's going to help you diagnose on a deeper level what is actually going on inside. Okay? So, like I said today, I'm going to kind of tell you what is actually going on. And what I really want you to do is go watch our masterclass because it is really, really designed to go, you know, deeper into these pieces of business because Holy spirit led woman, you know, you know that, like, you can't separate your faith from your business, okay? And you also have, like, a really heavy calling. You have to carry this thing, which is hard sometimes, right? And so I kind of wanted to start out by just kind of talking about, like, a year that I really felt like I struggled. And that was in 2024. This was after I officially hit $1 million in 2023. I ended up spending. Spending a whole year just really, really frozen and, like, had no clue if my business was gonna make it and if I even still wanted to do this thing. And the funny thing is, ladies, like, it all actually started because I had, quote, unquote, a bad launch in February 2024 after having, like, record numbers in 2023 for my business. And so I had this one thing, like, this one event that I got so emotional over that ended up really affecting my traction and affected my sales greatly in February 2024 and pretty much for the whole year. And because this one thing that I was, like, so upset about because my launch results were not good, I just questioned everything. I honestly just wondered, like, do I even want to be in the online space anymore? Are my offers even good? You know, do my clients even need what I'm selling, right? Am I even call called to do this anymore? And do I even want to do this anymore, right? Because I started to kind of, like, dread working on things in my business and dread working with my clients and dread, you know, the. These different things, right? And it was weird because it was like, okay, well, when money was great and launch results were great and all the things, I'm like, ooh, I could do this all day, right? And so going through an experience where I Started to really question something. Really, really, really made it hard. Okay. And in that season too, like, I just kind of woke up every morning with fear and heaviness. Like, am, um, am, um, I really cut out for this, you know, can I really keep up? You know, what am I sacrificing? Right? Like, is this even worth just, you know, the hardship on the family sometimes to kind of keep going down this route? And so because of all these emotions and things that were all kicked off by a bad launch in 2024, which honestly wasn't even a bad launch, my numbers were still really great. Like, if I, um, I ended up stopping marketing, like completely. And I felt foggy. My brain was foggy. It was like trying to sit down and write content. I had no clue what to write. I just felt so empty and dry. I had fear, right? I felt pressure. I just felt like I was forcing it. Like I was just in, in a moment where I was like, I just need to stop for a little bit. Right? And I remember in that season too, my husband was like, okay, like, you know, we kind of want to pull back on just some of the business spend with advertising and all of it, uh, for the time being because we were finishing out a commercial building build and we just wanted to stockpile a little bit of our cash. And the, the timing kind of aligned with sort of taking, you know, like a quote unquote break. Right? Um, but the thing that really happens, ladies, in this season is that I didn't actually have a sales problem. I had what I would call a fullness problem. And so in the Bible, 2nd Peter 1 thrive 5 through 7 actually names like 8 areas that when you have slow sales and things are not performing in your business, you can actually diagnose what is actually internally going on in one of these eight areas, which I share with you inside of the, uh, the biblical sales fix masterclass, right? And you can diagnose what's actually going on because it was never really like the sales process or the strategy or the different things. It was actually something so much deeper in mind, body and soul. And the thing is, no one in online business is talking about this biblical answer because, you know, you literally show up every day in your business and you're like, what's my strategy? What do I need to execute? Just give me, you know, to do's. Give me like a tactical list, right? And even come to coaching programs. And you're like, okay, just tell me what I need to do and you know, hopefully I'll go do it. And yada, yada, yada, right? But once you see that, it's not really about like your effort and your execution, you know, I mean, you do absolutely have to execute, but it's not really about those things or the strategy. It's about the woman underneath it all, right? The woman who has to carry this stuff, then you'll end up actually not being able to unsee it. Right. And so the mistakes, you know, that we, that we make as Holy Spirit led women, when sales are in inconsistent or market, you know, place changes are happening or we, you know, are stepping into something brand new or we have to completely like one ADR business model is that sometimes if we're trying to add more strategies on top of a broken foundation, we're really not getting to the real root of what is going on. And so sales not coming in, needing to change, like that's a symptom of a deeper problem, right? And yes, of course, sometimes it could be sales and execution and some of those different things as well, but that's actually like probably 10% of what is actually going on behind the scenes because it has more to do. What's happening in your mind, body and your spirit and your business struggles are a symptom of that. And so if we assume like even that it's uh, a 100% a mindset problem, right? But we don't diagnose the real root of what's going on. Like, we're kind of giving up on the breakthrough of what God has for us next, right? On that same note, you guys, like, what about like, the thought of comparison? Like you might be comparison, comparing yourself to my chapter 10 when you're literally like in chapter one of like writing like this, this adventure online, right? So what do you think's going on in your mind, body and spirit? That you're going to fall into comparison. And then all of a sudden you're not, you know, able to actually focus on like getting sales, launching your offer and doing the thing, because you're actually so focused on things that destroying and like rotting like the inside of yourself, right? That you can't actually even go take action because you're so stuck in like, comparison, right? And so guys, we gotta like, root this stuff out. Which is why once again, I recorded the biblical sales fix. You have 24 hours to watch this little, uh, workshop, okay? It's gonna help you diagnose exactly what is going on because you were not called to keep circling the same mountains. We don't have to be like the Israelites I literally my kids in the car today because they were whining about going to my parents house, their grandparents house and helping with some chores this afternoon. I literally told them, I was like, did you know that the Israelites after they were delivered out of Egypt were circling the wilderness for 40 years and they were just miles away from the promised land. But because they were grumbling and they didn't do the inner work and they were just complaining all the time, they literally kept themselves in the wilderness. Right? And so ladies, we are not called to build from survival mode. We are not called to build from or be stuck in the wilderness for forever and ever and ever. Right? Let's go fix it. Go watch the biblical sales fix ASAP. You get 24 hours of access. It's free. 60 minutes. Ladies. It could literally change everything. The link is in the show notes. So let's go. Hey girl. Hey.
