Most people abandon their New Year's goals by February, but the host offers a practical alternative: monthly reviews timed with lunar cycles, starting with the New Moon in Aquarius on February 17th. The episode translates astrological energy into concrete business strategy. Rather than viewing the Aquarius New Moon's revolutionary energy as destabilizing, Kanigraph frames it as an opportunity to stress-test existing structures (reviewed in January during Capricorn season) while injecting innovation. She provides three specific examples: replacing rigid filing systems with unconventional approaches like color-coding by feeling, implementing Finance Friday check-ins instead of waiting for quarterly accountant reports, and experimenting with alternative pricing models like subscription or value-based pricing instead of hourly rates. The broader theme centers on Aquarius themes of collaboration, network-building, and win-win outcomes. She encourages listeners to audit whether they have the right team members in the right seats, or the right accountability partners (like a coach) to prevent goal abandonment. The episode also warns against Aquarius's shadow side: digital rabbit holes, rigid logic disguised as innovation, and rebellion for rebellion's sake. This approach blends what the host calls "Swiss precision" with soulful guidance.

Key takeaways

  • →Review your business plans and budgets monthly on New Moon or another consistent date to catch deviations early and stay connected to your goals instead of abandoning them by February.
  • →Inject innovation into your existing systems by challenging conventional approaches in three areas: filing/organization, financial review frequency, and pricing models.
  • →Audit your network and team composition to ensure you have the right people in the right seats and adequate accountability partners like coaches to keep you on track.
  • →Use Aquarius season's collaborative energy to identify win-win opportunities with like-minded people and potential collaborators rather than staying rigid with current structures.
  • →Distinguish between genuine innovation aligned with your values and rebellious avoidance of discomfort or change just for the sake of being different.

Questions this episode answers

Why do most people abandon their goals by February?

Statistically, February is when most people have forgotten about or abandoned their goals because they've lost focus and momentum from their New Year commitments without ongoing review mechanisms.

How can you use the New Moon in Aquarius to recommit to your goals?

The New Moon represents new beginnings; reviewing and renewing your intentions monthly on the New Moon (or alternative dates like the 1st or 15th) keeps your goals front and center and prevents abandonment.

What are three concrete ways to inject innovation into your business using Aquarius energy?

Replace rigid filing systems with unconventional approaches like color-coding by feeling; check revenue and profit every Friday morning (Finance Friday) instead of waiting for quarterly reports; and experiment with alternative pricing models like subscriptions or value-based pricing instead of hourly rates.

How does having the right accountability partner help you stay on track with business goals?

Coaches and accountability partners keep you connected to your goals, remind you of your wins when your inner critic doubts them, and prevent self-sabotage that leads to abandoning your plans.

What's the shadow side of Aquarius energy to watch out for?

Beware of digital rabbit holes and scattered attention online, outdated thinking disguised as logic, and rebelling against structures just for the sake of being different rather than making changes genuinely aligned with your values.

What our scoring noted

Our reviewer’s read on each dimension, with quotes from the episode.

Insight Density

6 / 20

The episode is primarily motivational throat-clearing built around astrology cycles rather than substantive business advice. While a few concrete examples are provided (color-coded filing, Friday morning finance reviews, pricing experimentation), they are surface-level and not paired with evidence, data, or deeper frameworks. The bulk of the content consists of repeated assertions about reviewing plans and setting intentions without new operational insights.

statistically, February is the month where most people have already forgotten about or abandoned their goals and plans
you could try a completely unconventional approach like color coding by feeling

Originality

4 / 20

The core ideas - review goals regularly, innovate on processes, surround yourself with accountability partners, stay connected to your finances - are standard business platitudes. The original angle is couching this in astrology/moon phases, which is idiosyncratic to the host but not genuinely original business thinking. No contrarian frameworks or first-principles reasoning emerges from the transcript.

new moons are like new beginnings. And you can use this energy to recommit to your goals
Aquarius stands for team and teamwork, the collective network and networking

Guest Caliber

0 / 20

This is a solo host episode with no guest. The host presents herself as a coach/strategist but provides no evidence of scale, specific client outcomes, or operational depth. No practitioner with real execution experience is present to validate or ground the claims.

that's what I do for my clients, I help them stay on track, I help them stay accountable
That's what my coach does for me

Specificity & Evidence

5 / 20

The episode lacks named companies, metrics, financial data, or timelines to anchor its claims. The three concrete examples (color coding, Finance Friday, pricing models) are generic and lack specifics about which businesses tried them, what results occurred, or actual numbers. The opening statistic about February goal abandonment is cited without a source.

Instead of charging by the hour or by project or whatever you do, maybe you experiment with a subscription model or a value based pricing
checked your revenue and your profit every Friday morning. Finance Friday, every Friday morning with your coffee, five minutes

Conversational Craft

2 / 20

This is a monologue with no conversation, questioning, or push-back. The host makes declarative statements and rhetorical questions directed at the listener, but there is no genuine dialogue, no follow-up on claims, and no intellectual sparring. It reads as a motivational oration rather than an exploratory discussion.

Let me ask you this. Where are you standing in terms of your goals and intentions and plans for 2026?
you could ask yourself where and in what area could I try out a new unique and unconventional approach?

Speaker A: Well, hello, my friend. I'm, um, your host, Kanigraph. Thank you so much for allowing me back into your ears. Let me ask you this. Where are you standing in terms of your goals and intentions and plans for 2026? I am asking because statistically, February is the month where most people have already forgotten about or abandoned their goals and plans. But this doesn't have to be you. This week, Tuesday, February 17th, we have a new moon in Aquarius. And as I have talked many times here on the podcast, new moons are like new beginnings. And you can use this energy to recommit to your goals and to your plans. And you can stay the course by updating and renewing your intentions every single month on New Moon. Or if that sounds too woo woo, then you just take the 1st or the 15th, right? But if you do this monthly and you keep it front and center, there is less likely that you're abandoning your goals and your intentions and your plans. Right? And again, of course, that's not just for goals. It's also for our business plans, for our business goals, for our lighthouse plan, how I call the three year plan, and for our compass, that's what I call the budget, the yearly budget. Right? Like it's February. Maybe we're already not, uh, according to budget. Maybe you're under budget, maybe you're over budget. It doesn't matter. It's only the second month of the fiscal year if your fiscal year starts in January 1st. So you have plenty of time to get back on track, but only if you're actually paying attention to your plans. So if you review it once a month or twice a month, you can still make tweaks and adjustments if needed. And that's what I do, right? I usually look at it on New moon and I look at it on full moon. And yeah, to be honest, I'm a numbers nut, so I may look at it in between too, but I for sure look at it twice a month. And I usually just take a quick glance over the whole month or over the whole. Not over the whole month, over the whole plan. I mean. And then every month I use a different, or I look closer at a different, um, part of the plan or a different part of my business. And usually I do this according to what theme the moon is in, of course. So if you've been listening to the podcast for a while, you know that back in December, with New Moon in Sagittarius, and Sagittarius is the visionary, I talked about shooting for the stars and dreaming big when creating A lighthouse plan for our business. That was episode 298. And so that's when I look at my long term goals and I make sure they're really big and they're shooting for the stars and they might be a little bit unrealistic. Right. But that's kind of where we want to go to. That's what we want, that pulls us forward. So in December, that's usually what I do and what I put my focus on, on my three year plan and my budget. Then in January, when the moon is in Capricorn, the New Moon is in Capricorn, I actually look at my structures and uh, at my foundations and at uh, my systems because that's what the energy is all about. And I talked about this in episode 302 and those are things like having my workspace set up for success, taming my file monster. There's always tweaks to be done, there's always changes. We grow and evolve. Right. What worked two years ago may not work anymore. So that's when I look when the New Moon is in Capricorn and uh, I review my budget, I review my plans. That's what I look at. Is my foundation still solid? Are my systems healthy? Right. Things like that. And now, now we have the New Moon in Aquarius this week on February 17th. And that means the energy shifts and our focus can shift with it. And Aquarius stands for team and teamwork, the collective network and networking and also challenging rules and the norm and creating our own path, doing it our way and not necessari alone. Because like we have a, uh, network and we're looking maybe for like minded people that do it with us or alongside of us. Right. Aquarius season might also make you feel like you need to break through from all the things and get as far away as possible from predictable structures and routines. So you might feel a strong desire to innovate. And so this is really a good stress test again for your structures and the foundations that you possibly looked at in uh, in January when you do it like I do when the New Moon is in Capricorn and we're looking at structures. So now Aquarius comes along and wants to blow this all up and don't let it, but also don't stay rigid, see what you can innovate, see what creative ways you maybe could um, introduce into your business new ideas and new inventions, unconventional approaches, unique approaches and allowing yourself to put a unique magic or spin on things to make it more yours. That doesn't mean you have to blow up these foundations like you might want to, right? You could maybe just find ways how to make it more you or, um, how to make it more that it works for you. You know how I talk about that you feel in your element. That has a lot to do with you not doing things the way the norm tells you to, but you do it the way that works for you. So you can apply this to your business by looking at your business plan. If you have your three year plan or your yearly budget and focus specifically on where you could inject innovation and fresh thinking. So you could ask yourself where and in what area could I try out a new unique and unconventional approach? With whom or with what like minded people Could I set up a collaboration to try out new ideas? Or in what area could I allow myself to put a unique magic spin on the things? So if that leaves you a little bit baffled, I have three concrete ways how you could do this. Maybe instead of forcing yourself into a traditional filing system that never sticks, that you could never keep, um, up with, you could try a completely unconventional approach like color coding by feeling, I don't know, you hate finances, you make it whatever the color you hate. I don't know, um, or you could do, um, it by frequently used and you put a folder on your computer and just dump everything that you frequently use in there and everything else in alphabetical order or whatever, right? Like just challenge the proper way if that hasn't worked for you and find your way. A second example could be when you review your finances instead of waiting for your accountant or cfo, um, to give you his monthly or quarterly report. What if you checked your revenue and your profit every Friday morning. Finance Friday, every Friday morning with your coffee, five minutes. It's unconventional timing, right? Friday morning. But you could try it and you could. It keeps you connected to your numbers in real time and an ongoing basis. And it's just trying something out. Maybe it works for you, maybe it doesn't, but be a little bit innovative. And a third example could be you could challenge the norm of how you price your services, right? Instead of charging by the hour or by project or whatever you do, maybe you experiment with a subscription model or a value based pricing or payment plans or um, a retainer or whatever you didn't try out so far, maybe you try that out, uh, find a unique approach that works better for both of you. Both of you, you and your client. You never know. That's the Aquarius Win Win Energy that we, we're going for, right? Talking about Win Win Energy. It is really about our network and our friends and creating situations and opportunities that benefit all of us or both uh, parties. There's really a strong urge to socialize and to connect with like minded people. When sun and Moon are in Aquarius, we want to join groups of like minded people. Not just for fun, but for collaboration and for mutual support in business. And this is really where magic could happen. When you surround yourself with the right kind of people, you create opportunities for win win outcomes where everybody benef then grows together. So you could ask yourself, are you surrounding yourself with the right kind of people? Or when you look at your business plan or your budget, do you have the right team members in the right seats? Or maybe it's just you and you really not ideal for a specific um, department in your business, like for marketing or for admin or whatever. What would it mean to have the right person in that seat and what benefits could happen from there by having the right person there, what win win situation could happen and then also for accountability purposes, what people do you have that keep you on track, that keep you accountable, that don't let you forget or abandon what you want to achieve and don't let you sabotage yourself? Like that's where a coach comes in. That's what, what I often do for my clients, I help them stay on track, I help them stay accountable. I also make them see where they were winning and they don't see it because they're gremlin in their head maybe is telling them they're not. Whatever. And that's what my coach does for me. So do you have the right people in your work? Review your business plan, review your goals, review your intentions in under that lens, what are the people you need in your life? What are the people you need to attract more into your life and into your business? Now, before I want to uh, before I end, I want to also give a few words of caution because Aquarius Energy also has what I call the low road, right? Like every, every energy, every sign has a high road and the low road. I talked about this before on the podc and the low road for Aquarius is basically you have to be aware of not going down digital rabbit holes and getting too scattered online. Aquarius rules technology and the future, but can also mean distraction, doom, scrolling or connection that's more screen based than soul based or in person, right? Another thing to be aware of is outdated and rigid thinking that disguises itself as logic or rationality. Aquarius is innovative, but if we're not careful, we can cling to outdated mental frameworks simply because they feel like freedom. Also, watch out for disconnecting emotionally or rebelling against structures just for the sake of being different and wanting to rebel. I actually have to do that. I identify as a rebel and oftentimes when something is trendy or so I right away think, oh, that's not for me. And I feel like I lose out sometimes if I just right away do that because of my rebellious nature and just for the sake of being different or for the sake of not going with the flow or going with the group dynamic. Right. So ask yourself, is this change truly aligned? Or am I avoiding something uncomfortable? Or am I, um, rigid in my thinking, too logical or too rational? Okay, that's it for today. I, uh, really hope you go ahead and prove the statistic wrong and that you don't abandon your goals and your intentions for 2026 like so many people that by February have forgotten all about them. Instead, I want you to recommit. I want you to look over your budgets and your plans for your business and use this New Moon energy of new beginnings to create new beginnings to recommit, to put an innovative spin on whatever you do have already. Also, brainstorm unconventional ways and surround yourself with a supportive network. Start creating win win situations so all of you together can achieve your goals in 2026. And if you want support with your business, finances and with planning and with staying accountable, staying connected to your goals, reach out and book a free Bring youg Chaos to Me call. The link is in the show notes. Together we can identify one clear doable action step to move you from chaos towards more peace and also see whether working together will feel like a good fit. This is a, uh, no pressure call, simply a genuine conversation to see if our values align and whether I'm the right person to guide you and to support you and to be your ally by blending Swiss precision and strategy with soulful guidance and some little bit of astrology so you can align finances, systems and yourself. Okay my friend, that's it for this week. Thank you so much for allowing me back into your ears and for listening all the way to the end. And of course for being a supporter of this podcast. Have a beautiful and amazing week. Talk to you next time. Take good care and be safe. Bye for now. Sat.
