Five dimensions, 20 points each
The fundamentally unglamorous path to SaaS demo generation lies in reverse-engineering what high-intent buyers search for on Google, ChatGPT, and Claude - then systematically owning those keyword spaces. Speaker A walks through a playbook currently deployed across 45+ SaaS companies including RB2B, Fibla, and Proposify: build a four-column money keyword matrix (solution terminology, target industries, competitors, customer pain points), then layer these into long-tail, low-difficulty terms like
A money keyword matrix has four columns: (1) every way someone can refer to your software or solution, (2) main industries you serve best based on CRM data, (3) main competitors always mentioned on sales calls, and (4) your dream clients' jobs to be done or struggling moments. This framework helps identify what high-intent buyers actually search for when they need your solution.
Competitor alternatives like 'Hockey Stack Alternative' or 'Dream Data Alternative' target frustrated existing customers actively evaluating new solutions - high-intent prospects ready to buy. These terms have low search volume but extremely low keyword difficulty, allowing pages to rank in days rather than months, and they convert quickly to signups and demos.
Include a quick summary, comparison table, positioning statement backed by customer research, feature reviews, pricing, product screenshots or GIFs, customer testimonials, and fair side-by-side reviews of competing tools using G2 data and website research. Position your solution number one while maintaining credibility through honest competitive analysis.
Manually Google your money keywords to check if you rank in top 1-3 placements on Google Organic, then search the same terms in ChatGPT or Claude to see if your brand is recommended. If not visible, identify what content types (listicles, reviews, roundups) are being pulled into results, then build or improve similar pages on your site.
On-page involves building dedicated, best-in-class pages for each money keyword on your own website (articles, comparisons, landing pages). Off-page involves earning backlinks and brand mentions from external niche-relevant websites, listicle roundups, G2, Reddit, and other sites that appear in Google and AI search results.
Our reviewer’s read on each dimension, with quotes from the episode.
The episode delivers a coherent tactical framework (the 'money keyword matrix') with some actionable steps around competitor alternatives and LLM citation audits, but is diluted by heavy repetition of the same points across the runtime and multiple promotional breaks. Smart operators who've done SaaS SEO will find little that surprises them.
what I call a money keyword matrix usually has four main tabs
competitor pages rank as quick as days
The 'money keyword matrix' and 'blow out the water' labels are proprietary branding on entirely standard SaaS SEO playbook moves - industry modifiers, competitor alternative pages, JTBD content - none of which are fresh or contrarian. The LLM/AI search layer adds mild timeliness but the actual advice (get on G2, Reddit, earn listicle placements) is recycled.
follow a blow out the water strategy
you position yourself number one on the but back it by customer research
This is a solo monologue by the agency host - there is no guest at all. The host is a practitioner running SEO for 45+ SaaS clients, which gives him some credibility, but the episode reads primarily as agency self-promotion rather than a deep practitioner sharing hard-won operational knowledge.
This is a playbook we run actively for 45 plus SaaS companies like RB2B, Fibla, Proposify and tons more
many, many SaaS clients we've worked with, in fact 45 active SaaS clients right now do see signups pipeline and revenue as quick as 90 days
The episode names real clients (RB2B, Fibler, Proposify), real competitors (Hockey Stack, Dream Data, Bizible, PandaDoc, Lead Feeder, Warmly), and real tools (Ahrefs, Semrush, Fathom), giving it concrete texture. However, there are no actual performance metrics - no traffic numbers, demo volumes, conversion rates, or revenue figures - which limits evidential weight significantly.
for Fibler for example, we rank for things like Hockey Stack Alternatives or Dream Data Alternatives
In the visitor identification space we're ranking for things like Lead Feeder Alternatives, Warmly Alternatives
There is no conversation - this is an uninterrupted solo monologue with zero guest, zero probing questions, and zero pushback. The episode is punctuated by two explicit sales pitches for the host's agency, which further reduce substance density and signal the episode's primary purpose is lead generation rather than education.

Speaker A: The SaaS companies driving the most demos and signups from AI search uh, and SEO aren't doing anything complex at all. In fact, the strategy they're following is embarrassingly simple. They're actually just working out what their dream clients are searching on Google organic LLMs and they actually have high sales intent for their software or solutions. This is a playbook we run actively for 45 plus SaaS companies like RB2B, Fibla, Proposify and tons more. So in this video I'm gonna break down exactly how you can audit where you stand today. LLMs in Google organic, the full blueprint so you can start ranking and getting recommended for those dream clients needing your software right now and an exact play by play so you can just copy it. So with that said, let's dive in. So let's dive into what you actually need to do to nail down your SaaS SEO and AI search uh, strategy to start driving pipeline and revenue. So first off, you need to work out what your money keywords and money prompts are. Uh, these are what your dream clients are going to search for, not when they're messing around information gathering, but when they actually have buying intent for your software or solution. So what I recommend is building out what I call a money keyword matrix usually has four main tabs. If you're a founder of the company, perhaps you can work on this yourself. Or you may want to bring in some folks from your marketing support, sales and CS teams. What you're going to be able to do is break down these four columns so you can fire up a Google sheet, build out four columns. Column one is what's every way someone can refer to our software or solution. Column two is what are the main industries that we serve best. Column three is main competitors in the market. And column four is what are our dream clients jobs to be done or struggling moments. And the reason I say you want to bring in your support team, your sales team, your CS team is because they can help with all this insight. Or if you already have all this customer research as the founder, then you may know all these golden nuggets. So column one is what's every way someone can refer to our solution so one of our clients fibler in the LinkedIn ads attribution space. In that case it could be things like LinkedIn ads, attribution software tools, platforms, or likewise for proposal fire proposal client. It could be proposal software, proposal tools, proposal platforms, quoting software, quoting platforms. You get the gist what's every different nuance way that someone could refer to your main solution. That's column one, nail down all those. Column two is what are all the industries that we serve best? It's not just industries we like to serve, but if we look in our CRM, what are the industries we've historically sold well into? They have the problem we solve, they're motivated to solve it, they have cash to easily invest in our solution. So it could be healthcare, it could be fintech, it could be sports, it could be sales, it could HR finance. The list goes on. Review your CRM, get with your sales team and kind of really understand what we call those money niches. Number three, super important for SaaS especially is what are the main competitors in the field? What are the main competitors that almost come up to an annoying level? They're always brought up on sales calls or we're always compared against them. So in Fibler's space as, uh, LinkedIn ads attribution, that could be Hockey Stack, that could be dream data, that could be Bizible and a bunch of others. In proposal 5 space, in the proposal software space, that could be companies like Get Accept, it could be pandadot or it could be a bunch of others. And then the fourth and final column in this exercise is what are our dream clients jobs to be done, Their struggling moments, the main pain points they're looking to try and fix. So in the proposal world, propose work could be how to craft sales proposals that uh, convert in the LinkedIn ads attribution space, it could be how to justify the ROI of LinkedIn ads or how to work out how much revenue my LinkedIn ads are producing. Those kind of things. A really good exercise to look back at your sales calls. So if you record calls with a tool like Fathom or similar, you can kind of look at those juicy problems and questions that keep coming up in sales calls and then look to address those. And then once you've got those four columns, the whole process here is to make what we call long term tail money keywords or also longer tail money prompts. We want to leverage these columns, these keywords together to work out what our dream clients are actually going to search for when they need our software. Ideally as soon as possible. So what you're probably thinking is things like, oh, Sam, if I want to rank for proposal software Rosewise space, that's going to be super competitive. You'd be right. That's probably a longer term kind of 6 to 12 plus month exercise. It's going to take time to build the content, earn backlinks, build your authority, get brand mentions and much much more to eventually secure that ranking placement on Google and also get the brand mention on LLMs. Start driving inbounds. But as we always say, there's rich the niches for making these longer tail money keywords or prompts is why we've done these other tables to our money keyword matrix. So we want to add on our industry. So in a proposal software space we'd do money keyword plus industry. So it could be things like best proposal software for fintech, for health tech, the sales teams for HR and beyond. In our LinkedIn ads attribution space it could be LinkedIn ads attribution for SaaS, fintech, health tech, and so forth. And then if we dip into column three, this is super good for SaaS. So oftentimes we know that folks will try a tool, try a platform, but maybe eventually get frustrated with their incumbent provider, their incumbent software because pricing goes too high, maybe customer support drops off, gets worse, or maybe seats costings or support just go sky high or similar. So what folks will search for is things like competitor alternative. So they might search things like Hockey Stack alternative or Visible alternative or Dream Data alternative in Fibla's case for our client, or they might search for a comparison like Fibler vs Hockey Stack or Dream Data vs Hockey Stack or in Proposify's case, the Proposal software. They might search Proposify vs Get Accept or they might search PandaDoc vs Get Accept. And these are all kind of real money terms where you can attract those dream clients that are not messing around, actively searching to move from their current software or way up current options. And that's where you can highlight where your product shines through, where it's a great fit. Start attracting dream clients are in market and then the last column, the jobs to be done, the struggling moments, the crisp and specific pain points of your ICP or dream clients is where you can kind of leverage those folks that are early in the funnel more around the information stage, but kind of have that specific pain point so you can leverage your product as that painkiller for the specific issues, pain points and more that it solves. And what you'll find is a lot of these long tail money niche keywords. And the longer tail prompts will have low search volume. If you look them up onto tools like hrefs, especially things like Competitor Alternatives or Competitor 1 versus Competitor 2 or Competitor Pricing or competitor reviews, it's often very low search volume. But the good thing is they have low keyword difficulty, which means you can build out these pages with the right structure, format, content, technical and more and they can often rank super quick. We've seen competitor pages rank as quick as days. So for Fibler for example, we rank for things like Hockey Stack Alternatives or Dream Data Alternatives and a bunch of others for our other client RB2B. In the visitor identification space we're ranking for things like Lead Feeder Alternatives, Warmly Alternatives and a bunch of others around Pricing guides, reviews and those really capture those high intent prospects that are not messing around but actively evaluating solution or looking to move away from their current vendor. And that's where you can get quick signups, quick leads and quick demos for your software. And like I say, super low keyword difficulties. With the right strategy and content you can rank super fast and also get mentioned and recommended in LLMs and AI search. And by the way, if you want to start driving demos, signups and revenue for your SaaS as quick as 90 days, why not grab a call with us today over@breaking b2b.com we can chat through where you're at now, where you'd like to get to, and see if you're a fit to start driving Pipe line in revenue fast for your SaaS. Head over to breakingb2b.com or hit the link in the description below. So now we've built out our exhaustive list of money keywords and money prompts that our dream clients are searching for both on LLMs, AI search and Google Organic when they have that high sales intent around our software solution, are looking to move away from current vendor, uh, evaluating options or have a crisp and specific problem that our software solves. Now we need to run a visibility audit. Sounds complex, but it's a lot more simple and you can use tools like this like Ahrefs, Semrush or even Searchable or a bunch of others that are going to help with this process. But if you want to do it the old school manual way, all you really need to do is either one Google your money keyword. So in this case if we were looking at fibla, we might look at Hockey Stack alternatives or if we're looking at our client RB2B warmly alternatives or Lead Feeder alternatives. And then all we're doing is seeing one. If we rank top in Google organic search and one of the top placements, 1, 2 or 3, ideally top and then on a tool like ChatGPT are we actually being recommended? Is our brand suggested and recommended when you do that kind of money prompt search? If we're not recommended in ChatGPT, then we need to look at the citations, look at the kind of pages that are actually being pulled from what your usually find for these kind of money bottom of funnel terms it's usually listicle based articles. So in this case an article which will be much like we reviewed the best hockey stack alternatives of 2026 or we reviewed the best lead feeder alternatives of 2026 and this tends to be the same for both ChatGPT and Google Organic. Many times these kind of review lists roundup listicles along with the usual suspects like G2CapTerror, maybe a few Reddit sections are usually what you see pulled into these results. So working out are you banking on Google Organic? Are you being pulled into ChatGPT, Claude other and being actively recommended? If not what type of content is being pulled in? Let's look at that then most importantly let's look to control the narrative and build that piece of content for this money keyword or prompt. Firstly on our own website before we worry about off page SEO. So understanding what type of page is ranking already in this case if it's an X alternative term it's probably a listicle best x alternatives 2026 and what I recommend you do is follow a blow out the water strategy. So a high level building these pages is giving a quick summary up front of what the article is about. Do a quick comparison table of who the options are. Typically you position yourself number one on the but back it by customer research. Here's where we're a great fit, here's where a poor fit, here's why customers choose us. Here's a review of our key features, here's our pricing, here's a screenshot or a gif of our product in action. Here's a customer review and here's a fair comparison of the nine other competitors actually reviewing their website, reviewing their tool, reviewing their software, taking reviews and ratings from G2 and similar and doing a fair non biased comparison of all the other tools on the market. And yeah you can go through that for all of your money keywords working out. Do you have pages ranking on Google Organic already? Perhaps they're lagging at the bottom of page one on page two on Google. So maybe they need an improvement in terms of content depth. Depth. Maybe you need to add some more social proof. Maybe you want to add some unique stats, maybe you want to add an FAQ section if it's a landing page or if the content's already top notch, maybe you want to drive some backlinks to it or get some brand mentions from External, niche, relevant websites or likewise, if you're not being recommended in ChatGPT. And first, like I say, you really want to control the narrative. Build each money keyword into a dedicated page, whether that's an article list, cool. Whether that's a how to article, whether that's a landing page, a vertical page, an ICP page, whatever makes sense, whatever intent hits right for that page. And usually you can work out the page intent just by googling the keyword or seeing what chat GPT is pulling in for that money prompt. And once you've done that, once you've controlled the narrative with all these lines in the water and these money pages on your own website, then you can worry about getting featured on external websites, which is called off page SEO and a bit of mix of digital pr. So reaching out to folks, maybe you see that other websites are consistently cited or consistently mentioned for some of your money keywords. So you might ask them if you can be mentioned in their list of call at a top three placement, maybe for an exchange. Maybe you add them to your list and they do the same and vice versa. Maybe some of them are pay to play, which is sometimes a necessary evil. Or some of them might be able to do some kind of exchange, like if they give you a placement in their round roundup list. Maybe you can feature them on your podcast or do some kind of interview with them or some kind of pro bono or fair exchange. And the last part of the strategy is to stay focused and avoid short term hacks. What do I mean by short term hacks? Well, a bunch of SaaS companies, some big SaaS companies have been hit recently because they've tried to churn out a ton of articles, pages and similar on their website with a hacky strategy. They've used AI to completely generate the content. And what's happened is they've seen a quick win, they've seen a surge in organic traffic, but then Google has detected that the content content is low value spammy. A while back Google rolled out a helpful content update and this traffic suddenly dipped like crazy because they realized this content was low value spammy and similar. And it's not to say that AI content is terrible because you can definitely use AI to pull customer research, pull insights, give a solid outline for a page. But then I always recommend the human touch so you can make sure your page not just ranks, but resonates and appeals to your dream clients. Especially if you're selling a high contract value solution. You don't want terrible content where someone's Going to land on the page or see a bit of it, cited an AI search and then think these folks don't have a clue about my world, my problems, my go, my motivations and so forth. So staying focused with the strategy that's all about basically following through everything talked about working out an exhaustive list your money keywords, your money prompts reviewing every single money keyword and money prompt on both Google organic AI searches LLMs working out what types of pages are being pulled from building that full moat on your website. So working out what type of pages you need to build for each money keyword and money prompt. Is it a landing page? Is it an industry page? Is it uh a comparison article? Is it a comparison landing page, is a best of list and so forth and building best in class ones that blow out the water. Anything that's ranking already making it as helpful useful in positioning your product product as the solution and painkiller. Once you've nailed everything on your own website then it's about doing the off page side of things. So reaching out to sites that are being mentioned in AI search LLMs as well as ones that are ranking on Google Organic for your money keywords. Looking to earn um, niche relevant backlinks from them or looking to earn placements if they're doing listicle roundups of the top 10 top 20 best X software or best X alternatives in your niche and like I say, looking to do some kind of value exchange if you can or offering them something in return or some of those will be pay to play play but also getting featured on relevant sites that are being pulled up a lot in LLM. So you'll find review sites like G2 Capture and similar usual suspects, maybe getting active on Reddit threads if you've got the resources and likewise YouTube if you've got the resource to make sense of it. And then if you stick at this strategy, many, many SaaS clients we've worked with, in fact 45 active SaaS clients right now do see signups pipeline and revenue as quick as 90 days. Some see it much more quicker if they're a bit more aggressive with the building out the strategy, building out the content, earning backlinks, earning brand mentions and more. We've seen it time and time and again not only with SaaS CL of our own website breaking B2B we rank for our own SaaS, SEO SaaS AI search in similar terms and also drives a steady flow of book calls and demos for our own business.
