Speaker F: So, um, A Quiet Bloom is basically about Iris who just, um, arrived in Cebu, um, from Manila. And then, um. Since a um. Young work doesn't need her to go to the office anymore. So, um, work from home setting. Um, basically she finds her house very chaotic and found ways to work elsewhere. So mall, um, public library. Eventually she found this cafe that was quiet enough. And um, there she met Hyacinth, who at first glance.
Speaker B: Industrial fan bash.
Speaker F: Eventually they met, uh, Anna. And then of course um, eventually find out they're Both interested in each other. So the rest of the movie will actually follow, um, how they deal with their relationship and, um, how um, their relationship affected each other's lives. Not only theirs, but to everyone in their surroundings.

Speaker D: So let's ask Iris, the main character. Uh, because, you know, sometimes we know when we. When we act as actors.
Speaker B: Of how to embody the character. So of course Victoria is an ally of the LGBTQ community. Kanesha. How did you say yes? Or how did you, um, accept their role as Kanisha? Like a lesbian role? Like, because the movie evident. Uh, however, a story about,

Speaker F: I wasn't really part of the casting uh process. So it was more of Yami and the team. Uh the previous team, the producer um audition. Basically. We had readings and Anna. Uh and then um. Basically when we already secured uh lei at least 50% now which was uh actually her non negotiable. She really wanted someone to represent someone should be a lesbian from the leads non negotiable. At least one of them because of course representation and we would want to um give um the platform to someone who is also really part of the community.
Speaker D: Yeah because sometimes issue Vietnam.
Speaker F: And we met halfway and then um. Apart from that uh. Most of our crew said part of the community. It was. It was a good um mix of all the uh Soji. Um for everyone to know. Um Flowy and M is also part of apart from being the actors. Uh because we're a very uh.
Speaker E: Uh.
Speaker F: Skeleton crew. Uh

It wasn't supposed to be in the lineup uh of shows but then they added a cinema so that we would be able Super Girl. Ah. And us ah and then so most mostly we were very thankful. Um well as a business standpoint um from the moment that we started producing and we started pitching to like um brands if they want to work with us and everything. Everyone is very supportive of the whole film. And then uh. To the point um yes. Mcinema also wanted to like distribute um it uh as well so and um apart from that like that was. That was really basically an indie film production. So um. Yeah. Um. Our executive producer um was there to like fund the whole thing and then Kami said we really were able to like spend for it because of course passion project. Um we really wanted the story to be told um in a very timely manner. Uh
