Five dimensions, 20 points each
This season finale serves as a curated highlight reel of the Franchise Growth Podcast's most valuable conversations and highest-performing episodes. Belle walks through five recommended episodes: Episode 91 on planning effective company conferences with field coach advisor Jenna; Episode 90 featuring VP of Operations Jennifer discussing strategic growth coaching questions and the difference between coaching versus consulting; Episode 81 with Brecken, director of advising, diving into SWOT analysis as a coaching tool; Episode 68 on leveraging field support in franchise recruitment and validation; and Episode 67, a conversational episode with Angela exploring family dynamics and intergenerational involvement in franchising. The show is produced by AC Inc., a firm focused on training field coaches and implementing proactive support systems in franchise organizations. This recap is useful for newer listeners wanting to catch essential content, or existing followers wanting to revisit high-impact episodes. The episode also emphasizes the importance of strategic growth coaching frameworks and field support specialists in building more profitable franchise systems.
Coaching uses guiding questions to help franchisees think independently and solve problems themselves, while consulting involves providing direct advice and solutions, and field coaches should master the distinction to get the most value from coaching calls.
Field support specialists can participate in the recruitment validation process by helping prospective franchisees understand the brand's genuine commitment to support, attracting candidates who value business coaching and are excited about joining a community-focused system.
The tool is most effective when franchisees understand how their strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats connect to their actual business strategy and growth goals, rather than treating it as a familiar but disconnected exercise.
Effective conference agendas gather franchisee feedback beforehand, include value-driven content that excites attendance, and avoid common mistakes by incorporating insights from franchisee engagement specialists on what actually drives participation and satisfaction.
Families experience both the trials and incredible moments of franchise ownership together, creating shared community, values, and industry connections that naturally draw family members back to franchising as a career path.

This is a pure recap/promotional monologue describing what past episodes covered; zero substantive insights are actually delivered. Every sentence is either a description of another episode or a thank-you platitude.
We want to be sharing more of Um, this really hands on actionable advice around, uh, franchisee support, franchisee coaching, um, being proactive in, um, building a better franchise system.
it's a thought provoking conversation and it's a, it's a cool kind of more vulnerable look behind the curtain of this industry
No original arguments or fresh frameworks are presented at all; the episode only names conventional franchise topics (SWOT analysis, conference planning, coaching calls) without elaborating on any contrarian or non-obvious angle.
So the SWOT analysis one is actually one of our most listened to episodes from the season. There is a lot of value in there. I think it's a tool that a lot of people are really familiar with
Using field support to help increase your royalties, increase your franchisee life cycle, increase your franchisee engagement and happiness are all really key parts of implementing proactive support in your system.
There are no guests whatsoever on this episode; the host briefly name-drops internal consultants from her own firm who appeared on prior episodes, none of whom are verified operators who scaled anything independently.
Jenna is an incredible member of our team, one of our field coach advisors
Jennifer, our incredible VP of operations
The only specifics are episode numbers and first-name-only internal team members; no metrics, outcomes, dollar figures, or named franchise brands with results are cited anywhere in the episode.
episode 91, Planning Effective Company Conferences
episode 68, how to use field support in your franchise recruitment
This is an uninterrupted solo monologue with no questions, no follow-ups, no pushback, and no conversation of any kind; craft is irrelevant by definition.

Get ready to talk franchise growth. Hello, and welcome back to the Franchise Growth Podcast. My name is Belle, and this, my friends, is the final episode of season three of the show.
And it's going to be a nice short and sweet episode today. I wanted to do a final episode to, of course, just give a final shout out to all of the incredible conversations and value that's been shared on the show in the past year, but also to talk about some of our top episodes. So if you are a newer listener to the podcast, or maybe if you don't listen every single week, I wanted to share a couple of our favorites from the past year. If we could name all of them, I would, but that would be far too long with me talking.
So if you want to scroll back through our whole catalog of episodes, that is awesome. But if you're looking for some more specific recommendations, I am going to go back through our top five. And these are ones that we felt had really, really incredible conversations or maybe are a bit more of a unique topic or something you might just feel drawn to listen to today. So I'm going to go back through these episodes and just explain what they cover, and they will all be linked in our show notes, so you can go and easily find access to all of them there.
So first off, and starting with most recent, is episode 91, Planning Effective Company Conferences. And this was our first episode having Jenna on the podcast. Jenna is an incredible member of our team, one of our field coach advisors, our field support specialists who work with clients on all types of things from performance groups, so fractional field support, all the way to helping show up as the AC brand at events, help with our academy course development, and all of that awesome stuff.
So Jenna is a force. She had so, so much good stuff to share in that episode. This is an episode if you are planning your franchise company conference and you're looking for common mistakes to avoid so anything that you are maybe feeling a little bit unsure of how to build out the very best possible agenda for the event Jenna has actually planned and been a really big part of the franchisee engagement part of a couple company conferences. And she had some really, really great stuff to share about how to get franchisee feedback, get franchisees excited to attend, getting value from the process, and a couple mistakes that she would really recommend steering clear of and what to do instead.
So really, really strong episode if you have company or event planning in your future in your system. Next up is episode 90. This one is questions to ask in your franchisee coaching calls. This one features Jennifer, our incredible VP of operations.
Jennifer has been with the brand for so long, such an incredible leader on the AC Inc. team. And she came on, she actually has, she was a very, very successful franchisee of the Tudor Doctor brand. And so she has some really interesting perspectives, both from being coached as a franchisee, being a mentor in that brand for other franchisees, as well as all of her work with clients at AC Inc.
from the field support and field coach side. So this is an episode where actually she and I go through some of the questions that we have as recommendations in our strategic growth coaching guidebook. Our guidebook is pretty much our huge document filled with all the resources, all the strategies that we teach in all of our courses that we have in our academy curriculum and our accelerator program and that we train coaches on. So it's like our big source document, our big source guide.
And we actually walk through the strategic growth coaching, the plan in like within that framework, we walk through some of the questions that we use as examples when training field coaches on how to get the most out of their franchisee coaching calls. So it's a really good, it's a good way to kind of get a sense of some of the value that you want to be bringing to those calls and some of the examples of guiding questions to be getting franchisees really thinking on their own.
It's a big difference between coaching and consulting, which we also talk about a little bit in that episode and others. So if you're looking for some really tangible examples of like working with franchisees in those field coaching calls, this is a really great episode. And Jennifer has some really awesome tips in there as well. Okay.
Next is episode 81, Coaching Franchisees on SWOT Analysis. this has our incredible Brecken. He's our director of advising and leads our field coach specialist team. He is so, so awesome, has so many good things to share.
Also a successful franchisee as well has been on the team for years now and been working with our clients for a long time And so he has really really important and just a really great perspective honestly on coaching franchise owners. So the SWOT analysis one is actually one of our most listened to episodes from the season. There is a lot of value in there. I think it's a tool that a lot of people are really familiar with in terms of working with franchisees and business owners.
But sometimes it can be tricky to go, am I using this tool properly? Am I maximizing its effectiveness in these calls? Do our franchisees understand how it's actually helping us? And so that's a really great one to kind of dig deeper into a tool that might feel familiar, but you want to make sure you're using it to its full potential and getting the most value out of it with those conversations with your franchise owners.
Next one is episode 68, how to use field support in your franchise recruitment. This is an episode we had a lot of questions about this topic before we put together this episode. Using field support to help increase your royalties, increase your franchisee life cycle, increase your franchisee engagement and happiness are all really key parts of implementing proactive support in your system. But there's kind of this other area when it comes to validation.
So having franchise owners who really are proud to be a part of your brand, proud to be a part of your system and are helping validate that and bringing that into your field field recruit or your franchise recruitment process. That's a thing we've had a lot of questions about. People go, I understand how it helps here, but how could we be using it better in helping bring bringing new people the right fit to our brand? people who are going to be excited about getting support and who want to have business coaching and people who are wanting to be a part of a brand that genuinely cares for everyone's success, those types of things.
We get a lot of questions about like, how do you actually do that? What are the things you can do? What are the things you can put in place? And this is an episode where we really tackle that.
We really tackle those questions. So if leveraging your field support in more than just your areas of franchisee success and actually moving it into also your franchisee recruitment, this is an episode that's going to be really valuable to get some tangible steps for that. Okay. Last but not least, our fifth episode, I think that's five, I'm pretty sure, is episode 67.
This was one of our first episodes from this season, from season three. I think it was like in the first month and a bit of season three, we did growing up in franchising. And this is such a powerful conversation Angela and I have had many chats in seasons past and in different social content in the past talking about her growing up in the franchise industry And she had been bringing up to me at that time how she been hearing so many more people talking about, oh, you know, my dad did this.
My mom was a franchisee. Oh, my uncle works in a home office, right? All these different things. And she was saying it's such a common experience to have your family have a history in franchising or be involved in the industry and then have you being drawn back to that industry.
And we really dove into kind of why, why is that? Why is franchising kind of keeping families in the industry? If, you know, if, uh, if that's how we want to say it, but it's a really powerful conversation. Angela opens up a lot about some of the trials and tribulations and some of the incredible moments of her growing up in, in the specific industry and how she sees it affect families, um, how she sees it affect communities.
And so it's just a, it's a really, it's a thought provoking conversation and it's a, it's a cool kind of more vulnerable look behind the curtain of this industry and this industry we all love being a part of. And, and just, yeah, an interesting commentary on like family dynamics and community and how industries kind of attract different types of people and that kind of thing. So it's a, it's a really cool conversation. And Angela shares so much awesome, so many awesome insights in it.
so definitely more of a like a casual conversational style podcast as opposed to as opposed to more instructional or having more like actionable takeaways but a really really powerful conversation all the same so definitely recommend that episode that is also a top listen from this season as well and that is a few episodes if you are feeling like going back through the past season and kind of grabbing some of the value that is there, please do go take a look at some of those episodes, some of our other great conversations.
There's some awesome ones even really recently. And we just wanted to give a huge, huge thank you to everyone who has listened this season, everyone who has rated, subscribed, reviewed, and shared with other people in this awesome industry, shared with your team. It really just, it means the world. We want to be sharing more of Um, this really hands on actionable advice around, uh, franchisee support, franchisee coaching, um, being proactive in, um, building a better franchise system.
So, um, thank you again so, so much. We appreciate you. And that is signing off for season three. Go be awesome.
