Speaker A: Welcome to the Productive Insights podcast where you can learn how to systemize, automate and scale your business via the Internet. To, uh, access previous episodes and useful productivity tips, go to www.productiveinsights.com. now here's your host, Ash Roy.

Speaker B: Hey. I recently went to the business show at Sydney's Darling Harbor. Um, I'm, uh, headed into the business show and I'll, uh, be going in there to tell you more about what I learned. And I had some surprisingly good conversations with service based business owners. So this is a short behind the scenes look at what these events are actually like, including a brief chat with Clayton. All right, let's go behind the scenes. Let's do this. This is the Sydney International Business center, which is where we're going to be going. And I'm heading up the escalators. I'll see you in a sec. And as you can see, there's a lot of stalls behind me. Uh, it's pretty empty today. There's not as many people as I expected, but it's nice to be here. I've met some interesting business owners and I'll be reaching out to them and getting more information to see if we can work together. This is my client, Clayton Navarro, and I came here because I discovered that he has his agency, VA World Outsourcing, represented here. Clayton and I work together from time to time. Clayton has an outsourcing business. Clayton, what sort of clients do you tend to work with?

Speaker C: We work with people in all kinds of businesses across their admin, their marketing, and their customer service. And it's just really small to medium. Anything from your hobbyist all the way up to $10 million in your business.

Speaker B: And what sort of results do you deliver to them?

Speaker C: So the kinds of results, we're giving savings, uh, cost savings of up to 70% in your actual costs. We're increasing your capacity. And the other thing we're doing is giving people a lot of access to skills that they don't have. Things like marketing, things like your customer service, and things like social media management as well.

Speaker B: And Clayton, what can you tell our, uh, listeners that they probably don't know about you?

Speaker C: Something that they don't know about me is I'm m a wicked cook and I am an, uh, aspiring bartender. I want to actually own my own bar one day.

Speaker B: And you use really good quality shampoo

Speaker C: as well, to be fair. Something that will shock a lot of people. I don't know if I should say this online. I don't wash my hair. I use just oils.

Speaker B: Yeah, well, this may shock a lot of people, but I don't wash my hair either. So, um, uh, here's something that a lot of people may not know about me is tomorrow the Australian Society of CPAs will be recognizing 30 years of membership that I have held with them and will be giving me some kind of an award. And I think it's going to represent, uh, it's going to be a lamppost because I think I have the personality of a 30 year old lamp personnel.

Speaker C: I love that. So am I invited to come?

Speaker B: Yeah, you're welcome to join us. Yes, you can bring some personality to the situation. And how's today worked out for you, Clayton?

Speaker C: Today's been great. People are coming by, they're looking for some virtual assistant help. They're looking for some support around their current teams. And the vibe's just really good here. We're able to stop people with our, uh, putting green and everything like that,

Speaker B: which I don't know if it'll let me film it, but that is the putting green and that is the putt. Now, I don't know if that's going to end up showing up on camera. Well, thanks for being such a generous guest.

Speaker C: Not a problem. Now remember, if you need a va, you go to Clay.

Speaker B: I love that. If you need a va, you go to Clay. And so that was a great conference. I'm heading back home now. I met a few really interesting lawyers and a few other business owners who I might end up actually working with. Okay. And that was the day if we met at the show. And you're watching this now. Great to connect with you. If you'd like more short vlogs just like this, let me know in the comments.
