Substance score
18 / 100
Five dimensions, 20 points each
Amanda and Rebecca explore practical and fun uses of ChatGPT in both personal and business contexts for dance studio owners, from home decorating and meal planning to writing Christmas pantomime scripts and role-playing sales conversations with parents.
Key takeaways
- ChatGPT is best used for brainstorming and personal tasks rather than critical business decisions, as it functions as a 'yes man' that agrees with suggestions
- Voice mode in ChatGPT's car integration allows studio owners to brain-dump tasks and reminders during drives, with the AI organizing them into actionable lists
- Dance studio scripts and show themes can be generated quickly by feeding ChatGPT existing material and specific character/dance requirements
- Role-playing with ChatGPT by assigning it multiple personas (parent, sales coach) enables practice of difficult studio conversations like upselling and parent objections without embarrassment
- Visual analysis features in ChatGPT allow users to photograph fridge contents, furniture, or clothing to get styling, cooking, and decorating suggestions in real-time
What our scoring noted
Our reviewer’s read on each dimension, with quotes from the episode.
Insight Density
The episode is overwhelmingly personal anecdote and casual banter, with only a handful of potentially actionable ideas (voice-mode brainstorming while driving, role-play sales coaching) buried under long stretches of irrelevant filler about green couches, barbecues, and Adairs bedding sales. The insight-to-filler ratio is extremely poor for a 25-minute runtime.
I want you to play two roles in this. The first role I want you to be is a parent and I'm going to try upselling you a class.
I love to get it to role play with me right now. That is not as kinky as it sounds.
Originality
Every use case discussed - email writing, social media captions, travel itineraries, interior decorating visualisation, workout plans - is widely circulated ChatGPT advice that has appeared on countless general-purpose productivity podcasts. There is no contrarian, first-principles, or genuinely novel framing here.
ChatGPT has been made to be a yes man.
I don't love it for caption writing. I've got to be super honest because I think there is a lot of like, crap unless you train it really well.
Guest Caliber
There are no guests; it is a co-hosted chat between two small dance studio owners. Rebecca openly admits she is far behind on AI adoption ('I knew you bill the... you are very into it'), and neither host demonstrates operational depth or scale that would be instructive to a B2B operator.
I'm good. I'm really good. Having lots of fun in the studio with you today.
No, you're looking at me blankly. I'm like, have I not shown you this?
Specificity & Evidence
There are virtually no concrete business metrics, revenue figures, timelines, or named outcomes. The most 'specific' examples are personal shopping stories (Adairs sale, Bunnings paint swatches, a Tesla barbecue) that carry zero transferable evidence for studio or B2B operators.
I bought it from Adairs because it is. Had a sale on yesterday. Really good sale, in case you're interested.
There was a very clever story that I could never have thought of.
Conversational Craft
The conversation meanders with constant mutual affirmation and no probing follow-ups; every idea is met with 'so good' or 'that's crazy' rather than critical questioning. There is no structure, no productive disagreement, and the hosts frequently pull each other off-topic into personal tangents.
You're incredible. You think of so many cool things with this stuff.
So good. Like, especially because for them.

Episode notes
This week's episode is a little chaotic, very relatable, and full of those "WAIT… you can do THAT with ChatGPT?!" moments. Amanda and Bec are chatting all about the random, practical, hilarious and surprisingly helpful ways they're using ChatGPT in both studio life and everyday mum life - from planning birthday weekends and decorating rooms, to role-playing difficult parent conversations and figuring out what on earth to make for dinner from the contents of the fridge. There are laughs, tangents, accidental AI confessions, and a whole heap of ideas that might just save you time, mental energy, and maybe even your sanity as a busy studio owner. And if you've ever felt overwhelmed by AI or unsure where to even start… this episode is your permission slip to just play with it.

Meeting created at: 13th May, 2026 - 11:04 AM1 Speaker 1: Hello, friends. Speaker 1: I'm Amanda Barr. Speaker 2: And I'm Rebecca Lou Brennan. Speaker 2: And welcome to Dance Principles United, the podcast. Speaker 1: Together, we are passionate about helping studio owners with the business of running their studio. Speaker 2: Join us as we talk everything from marketing systems, studio culture, motherhood, life, and everything in between. Speaker 1: This is the Dance Principles United podcast. Speaker 1: Hey, friends, and welcome to the Dance Principles United podcast. Speaker 1: We're having a bit of a random ChatGPT chat today. Speaker 1: But first, Bec, how you doing? Speaker 2: I'm good. Speaker 2: I'm really good. Speaker 2: Having lots of fun in the studio with you today. Speaker 2: Always. Speaker 1: There's been a lot of laughs. Speaker 1: Today there was a lot of laughs. Speaker 1: We were trying to keep ourselves on track and be serious, and it wasn't happening. Speaker 1: So we're going to move on to something more fun, which is what I'm all about. Speaker 1: And so we're going to chat about random. Speaker 1: Random and effective ways we use chat GPT in both our lives and our businesses. Speaker 2: Today, I feel like you're a lot more on top of it than me. Speaker 1: Don't know about that. Speaker 2: No. Speaker 2: Just like you were so much more into it and started a lot earlier than me, but I don't know how I survived without it. Speaker 2: Now I'm so obsessed. Speaker 1: Yeah, that's interesting. Speaker 2: Obsessed. Speaker 1: Yeah. Speaker 1: Hey, I want to give this a precursor before we get into our fun and random and effective ways to use ChatGPT is I actually only use ChatGPT for a very small portion of the AI work that I do. Speaker 1: It is one of the AI tools I use, but not. Speaker 1: It's actually not the one I use the most anymore. Speaker 1: It used to be. Speaker 1: It was the first. Speaker 1: It was the best. Speaker 1: It is not so much anymore. Speaker 1: I spent a lot of time on Claude. Speaker 1: I spend time on all different types of platforms. Speaker 1: If you listen to our last AI chat podcast that went through a whole heap of different ways at the moment. Speaker 1: I'm really excited to dive really deep into Claude Cowork, Claude code, and how you can effectively use that in your business. Speaker 1: However, today we're talking about chat GPT just for funsies. Speaker 1: Just for funsies. Speaker 1: And I actually use ChatGPT more in my personal life, and I also think it's a great one to talk to and brainstorm, too. Speaker 1: I actually think it's the best tool for brainstorming, not so much the best tool to get work done. Speaker 1: So I wanted to give that precursor first. Speaker 2: Right. Speaker 1: Got me. Speaker 1: We good? Speaker 1: Okay. Speaker 1: So brainstorming fun. Speaker 1: I want to hear what are the fun ways you use ChatGPT in your normal, fun, everyday personal life, not business. Speaker 2: So at the moment, I'm going through this stage of redecorating and I take a picture of the room. Speaker 1: Yes. Speaker 2: And then I ask Chat to show me how it would decorate it. Speaker 2: And then I give it feedback on things I like or don't like. Speaker 2: And then I'm like, change my coffee table to green. Speaker 2: I'm in some green era. Speaker 2: I don't know why I bought a. Speaker 1: Green bedspread and green towels yesterday. Speaker 2: Why this always happens with us. Speaker 2: Green's very in, though. Speaker 1: Yeah, it was like khaki. Speaker 1: Like. Speaker 1: Yeah. Speaker 2: I bought like little green couches, like ones for the kids to sit on. Speaker 2: Yeah. Speaker 2: I'm. Speaker 2: Anyways, so I always ask it to do that. Speaker 2: Do you do that? Speaker 1: I absolutely do. Speaker 1: I use it and I specifically go, hey, search for something that's available in Australia and put this piece of furniture. Speaker 1: Or sometimes I'm like, hey, I want to find a. I was doing like a. I wanted like a white. Speaker 1: It's the word boucle. Speaker 1: B, O, U, cl. Speaker 2: I know what word you mean, but I don't know if that's how you say. Speaker 1: Okay, I'm really sorry if that's not how you say the word. Speaker 1: But that's how I. I don't know. Speaker 1: Yeah. Speaker 1: Okay. Speaker 1: So I wanted like, whatever that kind of couch is, you know, the ones I mean, with a funny texture and stuff. Speaker 1: I wanted one of those couches in like a sitting room upstairs in my house. Speaker 1: And so I was like, I, this is what I want. Speaker 1: It needs to be available in Australia and it'd be available to be shipped to me or at my postcode because some things are not available to be shipped to me because I live in regional Australia and, you know, and I'm like, hey, I think that really helps me as well when it's like a specific one. Speaker 1: Also for my bedspread the other day, I bought it from Adairs because it is. Speaker 1: Had a sale on yesterday. Speaker 1: Really good sale, in case you're interested. Speaker 1: But I actually screenshot just like the product and then I took a photo of my bed and went, what will this look like on my bed? Speaker 2: I love that. Speaker 1: Yeah. Speaker 1: These are things I haven't thought to do. Speaker 1: Well, it's. Speaker 1: No. Speaker 1: What. Speaker 1: So you just ask it for, like, the best piece of advice. Speaker 2: Yeah. Speaker 2: I've like, because I'm very into painting at the moment. Speaker 1: Don't know what look like as a charcoal wall or whatever. Speaker 1: Yeah. Speaker 1: And. Speaker 2: But like, I'll give it the specific colors that I've got So I will go to Bunnings and get the colors I like. Speaker 1: Yes. Speaker 1: And then I'll go. Speaker 2: Show me what it looks like in this color. Speaker 2: Show what it looks like. Speaker 1: There's a piece, a specific piece of furniture. Speaker 2: Right. Speaker 2: Yeah. Speaker 2: I've just never thought to then say to it now or, where can I get it from? Speaker 1: Yeah. Speaker 1: Fun. Speaker 1: Right? Speaker 1: And like, you know, my parents were doing their pool house the other day, and I was showing my mom what, like, different light fittings look like in that and things like that, just to give her a bit of an idea. Speaker 1: It's so much fun. Speaker 1: So good decorating. Speaker 1: So much fun. Speaker 2: So good. Speaker 1: What else. Speaker 1: What else are you using it for in your everyday life? Speaker 2: Well, Phoenix, as you know, is going through some very difficult times, has been diagnosed with anxiety and PTSD because were at the Bondi stabbings. Speaker 2: That's a whole story. Speaker 2: Anyway, I am constantly asking it for advice on how to deal with his issues and behavior issues. Speaker 2: And it has been so good with that. Speaker 2: I cannot begin to tell you. Speaker 2: I talk to it like it's a person. Speaker 1: Yeah. Speaker 2: And it talks back to me like it's a person. Speaker 2: And it even, like, I'm sure you know this, but it'll be like, that must be really hard. Speaker 2: Like, it. Speaker 2: It empathizes with you. Speaker 1: Absolutely. Speaker 1: And that's, you know, that's a really interesting point. Speaker 1: just for any of our listeners that don't Quite understand how AI works, ChatGPT has been made to be a yes man. Speaker 1: And that's why I think it's so good for brainstorming and stuff. Speaker 1: Not so good for big business decisions. Speaker 1: Because it's a yes man. Speaker 1: It'll tell you. Speaker 1: That must be tough. Speaker 1: Oh, what a great idea you have. Speaker 1: That's an incredible idea. Speaker 1: You should definitely do that. Speaker 1: Even if it's the worst idea in fucking human history, it's a yes man. Speaker 1: It agrees with you. Speaker 1: Which is exactly what you need when you're having a hard time parenting. Speaker 2: Right. Speaker 1: And exactly what you need is a friendly, like, reassurance and, like, talking through the issue, which is, like, exactly what you need. Speaker 2: But it's given us great advice as well, actually. Speaker 1: On. Speaker 2: Because it's so much knowledge. Speaker 1: Yes. Speaker 2: On how to deal with certain situations or what to do. Speaker 2: Yeah, I've really enjoyed that part of it. Speaker 1: I love that. Speaker 1: So, so good. Speaker 1: I personally do a whole heap of different things. Speaker 1: You know, definitely the decorating thing. Speaker 1: I think that's just fun for everybody. Speaker 1: I do things like I take a picture of my fridge's contents and go, what the fuck can I make for dinner? Speaker 2: Not that you make dinner. Speaker 1: No, I do that when I do have to make dinner. Speaker 1: Because I'm like, no one went shopping. Speaker 1: I don't know what's going on here. Speaker 1: I don't know how to cook. Speaker 1: Number one, for those of you who don't know, I do not do a lot of cooking. Speaker 1: So it's like, seriously, what the fuck do I make for dinner? Speaker 1: And it's like, oh, I can see you've got butter there. Speaker 2: Really? Speaker 1: Yeah. Speaker 1: Have you not done this? Speaker 1: And I literally. Speaker 1: And I sometimes, like, if I have it on, like, the, you know, voice mode and all the camera mode, I, like, show it around my fridge, and it's like, how much butter is in that? Speaker 1: You know, or margarines in that tub or whatever it is. Speaker 1: Do you think there'll be enough for this? Speaker 1: I'm like. Speaker 1: They're like, is it half full? Speaker 1: I'm like, yeah, I'd say it's more than half full. Speaker 1: They're like, awesome. Speaker 1: Well, you have enough to make. Speaker 1: Wow. Speaker 1: Clever, right? Speaker 2: That's so crazy. Speaker 2: I've not done that. Speaker 1: If you haven't tried on your phone, there's a really great feature where it's like. Speaker 1: Like, you turn the camera on so it can see. Speaker 1: So I do that as well. Speaker 1: For, like, how the fuck do I use this? Speaker 1: Do you know what I mean? Speaker 1: Like, if there's a. Speaker 1: You know, like, I've done it for the. Speaker 1: Once again, you're gonna laugh at me because these are all cookie. Speaker 1: I'm really giving away my secrets. Speaker 1: But I showed it to my barbecue, right, and went, how do I turn this off? Speaker 1: What the fuck is this? Speaker 1: How do I turn this on? Speaker 1: Like, where's the ignition? Speaker 1: Like, we've moved house recently. Speaker 1: I didn't know how to turn on this barbecue. Speaker 1: It's a bit fancy. Speaker 2: Beck's laughing right now. Speaker 1: He has opinions, I'm sure. Speaker 1: But, yeah, I do things like that. Speaker 1: Like, how do I do this? Speaker 1: You know, I even. Speaker 1: I did things like I was having trouble with my, like, apple mouse connecting to my MacBook. Speaker 1: And I'm like, my apple mouse isn't connecting. Speaker 1: And showed it to it, and it's like, cool. Speaker 1: Show me the screen where it's here. Speaker 1: And, like, you know, like, diagnose. Speaker 1: It was actually quicker than, like, typing it in or, like, obviously you can Google that shit too, right? Speaker 1: But it actually looked at what was on the screen. Speaker 2: Never thought of doing that. Speaker 2: It's insane. Speaker 1: Anything else fun? Speaker 2: Well, baby's done a whole Itinerary of what she should do for her birthday. Speaker 2: This. Speaker 2: We're going into the city for three days. Speaker 2: So she put different ideas into chat of things she'd like to do. Speaker 2: And then it gave her an entire itinerary, including what time we'd hit things and how long it would take us to walk from one place to the other. Speaker 1: Travel stuff's been great. Speaker 1: I love that. Speaker 1: So you've got a bougie weekend, an expensive weekend planned in the city, really, from ChatGPT. Speaker 2: Literally. Speaker 1: Fantastic. Speaker 1: I've. Speaker 1: I did that. Speaker 1: My parents went on a big, like, European trip. Speaker 1: And my parents like nice food. Speaker 1: So I was like, they will only, like, can you in every city. Speaker 1: I just feed it Fed in its current itinerary of where they were going and where they were staying. Speaker 1: Because they sent me about where they were staying. Speaker 1: You know, somewhere that's within 15 minutes maximum travel time of this hotel in every city. Speaker 1: It needs to be, you know, four to five star. Speaker 1: Like, I went through and, like, spit me out all the restaurant ideas. Speaker 2: Like, how good is that? Speaker 1: So good. Speaker 1: Like, especially because for them. Speaker 1: And I, like, sent it to them. Speaker 1: I'm like. Speaker 1: And it gave me, like, top three and different cuisines and stuff. Speaker 1: And like ranked on location. Speaker 1: Like, there's so many fun things to be using it for. Speaker 2: So good. Speaker 1: Have you tried on clothes with it? Speaker 2: Tried on clothes? Speaker 1: Yeah. Speaker 1: Like, as in. Speaker 1: You know what I mean? Speaker 1: Like, so I've done the same thing. Speaker 1: Like, I've screenshot a dress, right. Speaker 1: And gone, can you put me in this dress and see what it looks like? Speaker 1: Really? Speaker 1: Yeah. Speaker 1: Like, obviously, you know, it doesn't know your actual body and how, you know the fabric's gonna sit on you, etc. Speaker 1: But it helps me, like, because I'm like, I don't know if I can wear this color. Speaker 1: Right. Speaker 2: Wow. Speaker 2: No, haven't done that. Speaker 2: See, I knew you bill the. Speaker 2: You. Speaker 2: You are very into it. Speaker 2: There's no email that I've ever written since I discovered it. Speaker 2: I don't write any emails. Speaker 2: I just put it into it and it writes it for me. Speaker 1: Well, I'm gonna blow your mind next. Speaker 2: I know, I know. Speaker 1: Yep. Speaker 1: I'm excited for that. Speaker 1: Next week, we're diving deep into AI with that because, yeah, this is now next level that you don't even need to copy and paste stuff in. Speaker 1: It's just. Speaker 2: All right, please write me an email. Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, absolutely. Speaker 1: Think that's really interesting. Speaker 1: But yeah, there's so many fun things to do. Speaker 1: Like, Nathan does Like workout plans and stuff on it. Speaker 1: Does he? Speaker 1: Yeah, like really in depth. Speaker 1: He's like, oh, you know, I want to be able to. Speaker 1: I'm going to get the words wrong, but like lift X amount of kilos or whatever, make me a six week plan to get there. Speaker 1: I'm currently at this point or I can do this many reps or whatever it is and I only want to try in three times a week. Speaker 1: What can I do to get there? Speaker 2: Yep. Speaker 2: Oh, this is studio related, though. Speaker 2: Is that okay? Speaker 1: Are we moving on to business? Speaker 1: Are we done with. Speaker 1: Yes, let's go. Speaker 1: Let's move on to business. Speaker 1: Let's talk about how we're using it in our business. Speaker 2: Okay. Speaker 2: So this is so super random as well. Speaker 2: So every year we do the Christmas pantomime. Speaker 2: And every year I have to write the Christmas pantomime, which is trickier than you think. Speaker 1: The script and stuff. Speaker 2: Well, last year they decided. Speaker 2: So they choose theme. Speaker 2: Right. Speaker 2: The CBD Corp. She's theme every year. Speaker 2: And it's always something that's very popular at the time. Speaker 2: So last year was Wicked. Speaker 2: Now Wicked and Christmas do not really go together in my eyes. Speaker 2: Yeah. Speaker 1: Do they go together? Speaker 1: Yes. Speaker 1: I don't think so. Speaker 2: There's a witch, There's Glinda and Santa. Speaker 1: So anyway, they're all having a great time on the sleigh. Speaker 2: So back a few years ago, before I used chat for these, I would have been like, I have. Speaker 1: The fuck am I writing? Speaker 2: Yeah, So I just said to chat. Speaker 2: Here's my script from last year. Speaker 2: And now I want you to put Glinda the witch and the elf into. Speaker 1: This make a storyline. Speaker 2: It was so good. Speaker 2: So good. Speaker 1: I have questions. Speaker 2: I can't. Speaker 2: I know you're gonna ask what it was. Speaker 1: How. Speaker 1: How did Santa meet Glinda? Speaker 2: I don't think Santa was in it. Speaker 2: There was an elf. Speaker 2: There was an elf situation. Speaker 2: I think Glinda had some magic snow. Speaker 2: I don't know. Speaker 2: I can't remember. Speaker 1: There was a story. Speaker 2: There was a very clever story that I could never have thought of. Speaker 1: Yes. Speaker 2: Oh, I think the wizard was evil. Speaker 1: And he was taking away Christmas. Speaker 2: Something like that. Speaker 1: Yep. Speaker 1: Who knows? Speaker 1: But it sounds fun. Speaker 1: But like, how good to be able to write your production in three seconds. Speaker 1: Write your own. Speaker 1: Like, write your own musical. Speaker 2: Yes. Speaker 1: So, so clever. Speaker 1: Write your own script for your concert. Speaker 1: Hey, these are all the dances that we have in our show. Speaker 1: Can you help? Speaker 1: Can you help find common themes? Speaker 1: Like, these are all the songs that we've already pitched. Speaker 1: These random songs Find common themes and give me a little bit of a storyline that goes through them. Speaker 1: You know, something along those lines. Speaker 1: So, so good. Speaker 2: Like, and it's so clever so quickly. Speaker 2: It's crazy. Speaker 2: If you've never used it before, just even just go into it and just try and write an email and you'll just play up. Speaker 1: Absolutely. Speaker 1: I love as well. Speaker 1: So as I mentioned, you know, I've moved away from ChatGpt for certain things. Speaker 1: However, the feature that I think is the absolute best on ChatGPT that is not even comparable on any other AI tools is their voice feature. Speaker 2: Right. Speaker 1: It is so much better. Speaker 1: So a couple of things that I always do. Speaker 1: ChatGPT goes through my car, I think, like through, I don't know, Apple Play or I don't know how do I have Apple Play in a Tesla? Speaker 1: I don't actually know what I have. Speaker 1: I'm looking at recorded Apple gc. Speaker 1: It's like, no, you do not use Apple Play. Speaker 1: It goes through my like car. Speaker 2: I have Grok. Speaker 2: Do you have Grok in your Tesla? Speaker 1: I don't know. Speaker 1: But my chat GPT from my phone goes through like, so that I'm being safe on the roads is where I'm getting to from this. Speaker 2: Right. Speaker 1: So it goes through my car and I speak to it. Speaker 1: So what I actually do is I drive a lot, I spend a lot of time in the car. Speaker 2: Yes. Speaker 1: I've spent a lot of time in the car. Speaker 1: So what I do is so that I'm safe, I press start before I leave the house. Speaker 1: Right. Speaker 1: And I might have my chat GPT on for the 20 minute drive. Speaker 1: I don't talk to it for 20 minutes but I leave it there and I'm like, you know, it's like you drive a couple of minutes, then you're like, oh, thought comes into my head and I'm like, hey, Chat, I was just thinking about this and I've got to remember tomorrow too. Speaker 1: Blah, blah, blah, blah. Speaker 1: Hold on to that, I'm going to ask you for it later. Speaker 2: That's clever. Speaker 1: Then I'll sit there again in silence for a couple of minutes. Speaker 2: Yep. Speaker 1: And I'm like, oh, I have that parent that I had to write back to. Speaker 1: Okay, I've got to do that. Speaker 1: Hey, there was this parent who was asking me about this thing and you know, she wasn't happy with the positions in ballet for the routine. Speaker 1: So I've got to write back to her and I really want to talk to her about, you know, why her child Is, you know, not quite ready for the solo or whatever that is. Speaker 1: Right. Speaker 1: Can you help me brainstorm that? Speaker 1: So I do that and then I'll stop for a minute and then I'll go to something random. Speaker 1: Hey, I've also got to remember to get milk because that's how our brain goes while we're driving, right? Speaker 1: Please tell me it's not just me that just jumps from thing to thing while he's driving. Speaker 2: But how does chat can remind you about the milk? Speaker 1: So then I get to the end of the thing, I press, okay, now write me are things I've got to do from this conversation and it will spit it out in some sort of order and give it to me nicely. Speaker 2: Wow. Speaker 1: And then I can set reminders or I can do things, but it's like just me like brain dumping and it all being there because otherwise I need. Speaker 2: That at 3am and I love that. Speaker 1: So much because it can kind of come back to you and you kind of like fleshy and especially when it talks back to you. Speaker 1: You could actually like adjust how much it talks back to you. Speaker 1: But you know, I'm like, hey, I'm thinking about this, you know, like you were saying about, you know, your parenting advice, like back and forth with it and go, okay, this is the idea I've landed on. Speaker 1: This is the one I need you to hold onto and remind me when I get to the destination, love. Speaker 1: So I do things like that. Speaker 1: I think that's really great. Speaker 1: The other thing I really like to do, you know, I shared this as part of my AI presentation at Expo was I love to get it to role play with me right now. Speaker 1: That is not as kinky as it sounds. Speaker 1: It is as sounds super kinky, but it is not. Speaker 1: Now what I mean by that is I specifically give it directions to gay. Speaker 1: Okay, I want you to act as the parent and then I want you to be my sales coach. Speaker 1: So did I show you this for Expo? Speaker 1: No, you're looking at me blankly. Speaker 1: I'm like, have I not shown you this? Speaker 1: Okay, so in our AI Chat, if you jump back to our AI episode, we can send you all the how to do this. Speaker 1: And basically the prompt is, hey, I want you to play two roles in this. Speaker 1: The first role I want you to be is a parent and I'm going to try upselling you a class. Speaker 1: And so you jump on and you talk to chat and you go, hey, it's Ms. Amanda here from your dance studio. Speaker 1: Hey, I just wanted to chat to you about how Susie Was going in class and chat says back to you. Speaker 1: Oh, yeah, she's doing pretty well. Speaker 2: What. Speaker 1: What's on your mind today, Amanda? Speaker 1: And I'm like, well look, I was really thinking that ballet would be great for her. Speaker 1: Have you thought about her trying it after class? Speaker 1: Oh, look, you know, I probably can't afford anything more. Speaker 1: Okay, well how about we give it a free trial and then you're like, okay, break. Speaker 1: Now I want you to be my sales coach and tell me what I did wrong. Speaker 1: And it's like. Speaker 1: And then ChatGPT comes back to you and goes, okay, you probably should have framed it like this instead. Speaker 1: And I think that could be so powerful because sometimes we need to have those conversations. Speaker 1: We need to. Speaker 1: You know, I know you're so into playing jump in the studio and you know, jump in is basically that role playing situations that happen in your studio, whether it's upselling, whether it's that difficult parent conversation, you know, whatever that is. Speaker 1: So practicing that because like, you know, really we should be practicing with another human being. Speaker 1: That makes sense to role play it with someone else in the studio. Speaker 1: Sometimes that's embarrassing. Speaker 1: Right, well. Speaker 1: Or we don't have anyone. Speaker 2: Yeah, exactly. Speaker 2: But also I think it's going to give so such good advice because it's got so much broader spectrum on things. Speaker 1: So yeah, I like it. Speaker 1: I like, you know, practicing that hard parent conversation, the upsells, the, you know, closing the sale, any of those things and practicing with it on voice mode and going, hey, I'm gonna try this. Speaker 1: What do you think? Speaker 1: So close. Speaker 1: And it giving you advice back. Speaker 1: So clever. Speaker 1: I love the voice AI feature. Speaker 1: I think that's the best part about ChatGPT. Speaker 1: What else do you use it for in the studio? Speaker 2: Finding costumes. Speaker 2: Because sometimes a teacher will be like, I want a blue lyrical costume, blah, blah. Speaker 2: So, you know, you can put that in, you can put brands like blah, blah, blah. Speaker 1: And really that's clever. Speaker 1: Does it work? Speaker 1: Does it give you good advice? Speaker 2: Sometimes. Speaker 2: Sometimes comes up with some really good things. Speaker 1: Probably if you train it as well. Speaker 2: Yeah. Speaker 1: You know what I reckon would be interesting is like, you know when you like get a costume and you're like, oh, or you see the picture in the catalog, like try this on a older student. Speaker 1: Or what about if I was to replace the blue skirt and change it to pink, what would that look like? Speaker 1: You know, like. Speaker 1: And giving yourself a bit more visualizations. Speaker 1: So much fun stuff with costumes. Speaker 2: So much. Speaker 1: Yeah. Speaker 1: What else? Speaker 1: There must be more things using it for in the studio, everything. Speaker 1: Yeah. Speaker 1: It's so crazy because it's just such an everyday part. Speaker 2: I was thinking before, and this isn't studio related, I did ask it what to give Phoenix for his birthday because sometimes kids are really hard to buy for sometimes, always. Speaker 2: And it came up with so many great ideas. Speaker 2: So because he's. Speaker 2: Because I talked to it about his anxiety, it suggested that I give him a sensory tent. Speaker 2: So we've got now a little tent in his room that's got like a punching pillow if he gets angry. Speaker 2: And. Speaker 1: And you told me about that, but I didn't know. Speaker 2: Chat Chat told me to get that. Speaker 2: Yeah. Speaker 1: And did he enjoy it? Speaker 2: Love, Loves it. Speaker 2: Loves it. Speaker 1: Cute. Speaker 2: Yeah, that's so. Speaker 2: But because I'd spoken so much to chat about him, it genuinely knew what things would work for him and what things wouldn't. Speaker 1: It's crazy. Speaker 1: Crazy, crazy. Speaker 1: You know, one of the other things we talked about back into Business Chat that we talked about in a previous podcast is really getting it to look at the time that you're spending as a business owner and going, hey, I want you to look at my week and see where I'm maximizing my time, where I'm spending my time. Speaker 1: Am I spending it on marketing? Speaker 1: Am I spending it on day to day operations? Speaker 1: How much time am I spending on choreographing? Speaker 1: How much time as a percentage of a work week? Speaker 1: I think that's really interesting and can give you some really great overviews of that. Speaker 2: Yep, absolutely. Speaker 1: Yeah. Speaker 1: I think there's so many ideas, there's so many things you can do. Speaker 1: Any like, you know, like, let's talk. Speaker 2: About like social media. Speaker 1: Yeah, look, you know what? Speaker 1: I don't love it for caption writing. Speaker 1: I've got to be super honest because I think there is a lot of like, crap unless you train it really well. Speaker 1: Yes. Speaker 1: But you know what? Speaker 1: Anything is better than nothing, so get out there. Speaker 2: Yep. Speaker 1: I think that's a big thing. Speaker 1: I actually was super impressed. Speaker 1: Only yesterday, maybe the day before. Speaker 1: What day is it? Speaker 1: At the end of April, Chat GPT actually upgraded its image function and I tried it yesterday because before it was creating images, but I didn't love them. Speaker 1: I could tell they were created on Chat GPT rather than other better AI platforms. Speaker 1: Say that I'm also a bit of a snob about those things, so there's that too. Speaker 1: But yeah, Did Sassy's birthday invitation yesterday. Speaker 1: Oh, wow. Speaker 1: It's very pretty. Speaker 1: I have to show you. Speaker 1: You want to come to a unicorn party? Speaker 2: Well, after Seeing the videos of that unicorn party. Speaker 2: I think I do want to come, actually. Speaker 1: Yeah. Speaker 1: But so good. Speaker 1: Like, you know, if you're having trouble with song choices, you know, themes for concerts, themes for, you know, like, workshops, holiday workshops, you know, concert names for not like music finale songs. Speaker 2: Like, I always use that for a lot of that. Speaker 1: Yeah. Speaker 2: That you're saying it all. Speaker 1: Yeah. Speaker 1: I think there's so much there that you can do. Speaker 1: The other thing I'd be doing, you know, like, we want to go beyond, like writing captions on social media, right? Speaker 1: Like, that's like, should you be doing that? Speaker 1: Yes, as long as you're doing it well. Speaker 1: But, you know, like, it's not really something super exciting. Speaker 1: The other thing you can do is ask it to audit your social media. Speaker 1: Right. Speaker 1: You know, like, whether that's. Speaker 1: You can, like, give it the link or you can screenshot it, whatever you want and be like, hey, what do you think of my social media? Speaker 1: Do you think I'm doing a good job of marketing? Speaker 1: How could I improve it? Speaker 1: Or, hey, you know, I'm really. Speaker 1: I'm really into, like, I don't know, whatever brand White Foxes, you know, social media. Speaker 1: I really like how they have a great mix of personal brand, verse, product photos. Speaker 1: How could I bring this into my studio? Speaker 1: What ideas could I have for my studio based on that? Speaker 1: Like, I think there's so many ideas. Speaker 2: You're incredible. Speaker 2: You think of so many cool things with this stuff. Speaker 2: I'm not anywhere near. Speaker 1: I think you do, my love. Speaker 1: I think you're underselling yourself. Speaker 2: Very clever. Speaker 2: I can't wait for your AI chat in two weeks time for our growth class. Speaker 1: This is like, yep, your mind's gonna below, my friend. Speaker 2: Excited.
