For B2B, the read is calmer but still material. The device class your sales team uses to interact with customers is being redesigned by the same companies that are redesigning your search interface. What it means for marketers and agencies, the honest creative question is what an ad looks like when there is no screen.
The honest measurement question is what attribution looks like when the agent, not the user, sees the ad. Neither has a clean answer. The defensible position right now is to ensure brand assets, product data, and creative are structured enough to be read by an agent without a human in the loop. That is not a creative brief, it is a data quality brief, my take.
Amon's interview is partly a Qualcomm earnings narrative and partly a genuine industry signal. Read both. The strategic substance is real. The silicon vendors have a clearer line of sight to the next interface than the brand and ad industries do, and the cadence is accelerating.

Either your team has approved access to a model that can simulate an attack against your systems, or your adversaries do and you do not.
For boards, the AI security line item is no longer hypothetical. For regulated industries, finance, health, energy, public sector, the existence of a vetted-only model tier creates a procurement standard that auditors will start asking about within a quarter. The interesting commercial second order effect is on cyber insurance, where premium models will need to incorporate has access to gated frontier red team model as a factor. What it means for marketers and agencies, direct relevance is narrower, but two implications matter.

Why it matters. In markets where AI overviews and AI mode are eating organic CTR, a user-driven preference signal that survives AI summarization is one of the few defensive motes publishers and content brands still have. The action is not complicated. Earn enough brand recall that users actively select you.
That is a brand investment with a measurable SEO payoff. What matters most today? The pattern across today's four stories is the same pattern. The optimization layer, the workforce layer, the interface layer, and the security layer are all being moved further inside the AI itself, away from the operator's direct hand.
Google is moving paid search optimization into the model. Cloudflare is moving operational work into agents. Qualcomm and OpenAI are moving the interface into worn hardware. OpenAI is moving the most powerful security capability into a vetted gated tier.
Signal. Control surface area is contracting. Noise, the specific feature names. In 12 months, half the named products in today's briefing will have been replaced or renamed.
The structure will read that operators retain less manual control over each part of the stack will not have changed. What I would do if I were running this account, brand, or agency this week. One, inside your top three Google Ads accounts, audit your conversion goal architecture by Friday. Journey aware bidding will optimize across every goal, and so the marginal value of every micro conversion you have defined has just increased.
Remove vanity goals, sharpen the values on the real ones. Two, rewrite your client SLAs on budget pacing this month. The phrase spend no more than X per day will mean something different in a demand-led pacing world. Replace it with monthly budget caps and acceptable pacing variance bands.

Five lines, scorable, repeatable. Four, inside your own agency or in-house team, measure intelligence per employee this quarter. A rough proxy is tokens used per active worker per week. Compare it to a frontier firm benchmark.
If it is materially lower, the gap is your training and tooling pipeline. Five, if your marketing function is at a profitable growing company, run a Cloudflare style scenario internally. Which 20% of marketing tasks would you redirect to agents in the next 90 days if you had to? Doing the exercise as a thought experiment is cheap.
Being asked the question cold by your CFO after the next public layoff round is not. What I'd tell a client today, one, the next 12 months of paid search performance will be decided by your conversion goal hygiene and your feed quality, not by your bid strategy. Two, the Cloudflare cuts are the new template for how growing companies will reshape cost lines around AI agents. Plan as if your investor base has read the same story.
Three, the interface your customers will use in 2028 is being designed in 2026 by the silicon vendors and the model labs, not by Apple. Assume agent readable, not screen first, and brief creative accordingly.
