Today we are going to dig into one of our amazing brands, and I have on here Chris Burris, who's going to just floor your mind with information here today. I'm really excited. Chris is actually the owner, founder, and Chief Scientist at MyVital C. He's going to talk to us about Carbon 60 today and just, um, dive into all of that. So I'm excited to learn as I'm not super familiar, uh, but I know lots of people have been using this products. I've seen samples. Um, I actually had a little sample vial in one of my last boxes from Get Healthy. I think it was actually our little Christmas present. So I don't know, uh, if many of our store owners have got to try that, uh, as I have been fortunate to try, but, uh, we're gonna learn here today. So, Chris, thank you for your time and all the work you've dedicated into this brand, and I'm excited hear from you today.
Speaker B: Candace, thank you so much for having me. Uh, I. People can't see me. I am wearing a lab coat. I am a geeky guy who wears a lab coat. I'm not a doctor, but I am a lab guy. Uh, so this is my best joy, is to get geeky and share the science behind this molecule that I've been working with for 34 years.
Speaker A: Wow. That's my entire lifetime. So you have just got to be full of knowledge. And we're excited to dig in. So if, uh, you could just give an overview of what you've done in those 34 years and most recently, the work with my vital C. And how many years has my vital C been an established brand?
Speaker B: Yeah, we brought it to market in 2018. Um, really to bring forward something for the retail market in the space.
Speaker A: Very awesome. Um, so why don't you share with everyone what ESS 60 stands for and what it means?
Speaker B: Yeah, so ESS 60 stands for elemental safe spheres, and there's 60 carbon atoms. Uh, when I go to, say, a biohacking conference, less, um, than 30% of people have heard of carbon 60. Um, probably in your audience, it might be about the same. That would be my guess. It may be a little bit elevated because there are the people who are kind of Seeking out new information and, and you know, keeping uh, their, their finger on the pulse of what's going on in the longevity space, in the biohacking space. Carbon, uh, 60 was actually discovered in 1985 by three scientists at Rice University. That's here in Houston where we're based. Those three scientists went on to win the Nobel Prize for that discovery in 1996. Uh, my lab started manufacturing it in 1991, a full five years before they were awarded the Nobel Prize. Um, I'm not a very braggadocious person. This is probably as much. Most of the story that I might share, uh, will say Chris wishes he was smarter. Uh, but it's not unreasonable to suggest that because we were delivering commercial quantities of this carbon nanomaterial to research institutions around the world and scientists could get their hands on it and can put it in experiments that had an impact on when those guys won the Nobel Prize for this discovery. This molecule is amazing. Uh, the way I describe it, it performs as well or better than the current best material in almost every application. So it makes better inks, better batteries, better tires, better photocells. This is often where people get nervous because nobody in your audience as biohacker ish as this may be, woke up and looked at their car battery and thought, I wonder what part of my car battery I should be taking on a daily basis for my health.
Speaker A: Uh, I definitely have some questions, uh,
Speaker B: but the story gets a little bit worse. So one of the shapes on the exterior and the best way to imagine this molecule because it's an extremely unique molecule, is it's the same shape as a soccer ball. So if you imagine a soccer ball, the lines on the soccer ball represent the bonds between the carbon atoms. So you have a spherical molecule of 60 carbon atoms, uh, and that molecule as m. Well, as it performed in terms of industrial applications, one of the shapes that's on the exterior. So if you think about a soccer ball, one of the panels is the same shape as benzene. Now I know your audience is aware of benzene. We don't have modern society without benzene. Just as evidence, if you look around you, everything that is plastic would be gone without the benzene ring. Many medications have the benzene ring as the foundation, um, and including, uh, aspirin. So that's all great, except benzene, when it's on its own, is known to be toxic and known to be carcinogenic. And so because that benzene like shape exists 20 times on the exterior of this soccer ball shaped molecule, they thought it would be Toxic. And they put it in a toxicity study. In this study, they had three groups of rats, wistar rats. One group was given water, that's a control group. One was given olive oil, that's a semi control group. And the other group was given olive oil with what we will start now calling the ESS60 molecule. And let me kind of. Why do we define the difference? Um, well, again, ESS 60 elemental safe spheres, 60 carbon atoms. Uh, we tested 22 of the products in the carbon 60 space and all of them, except for one, were woefully low in concentration. And as I go through the story, that's not really that surprising. If you think about the supplement industry, it is challenged. There's lots of challenges in the supplement industry. It's why I think working with somebody like you, working with a practitioner is so valuable because it's somebody who can kind of put their scientific mind and vet this particular, you know, whatever particular supplement it is. So we call it ESS 60. So with our rats, water, olive oil, and olive oil with ESS 60, it was supposed to be a toxicity study. Instead of being toxic, the test subjects that they gave it to, again with our rats lived 90% longer than the control group. So the single longest longevity experimental result on mammals in history, peer reviewed published research, uh, is because of the ESS60 molecule dissolved in olive oil. I'm very proud. Not only are we the oldest and longest manufacturer and distributor of this molecule on the planet, our product, our lab provided the product and our lab is mentioned in that original study. So anybody in the C60 space who's like, oh, you know, this is a health supplement and it's because of that study, our lab provided the material. Our lab is mentioned in that original study. And I'll just wrap up with this. Our currently our m most consistent testimonial is people take the product in the morning, they report mental focus and energy during the day, and then better sleep that night. Two key things about better sleep that night. The first is, I mean, we have lots of amazing testimonials and we start thinking about this 90% extension of life. If we just improve sleep, we will improve mental, physical and emotional well being. I know that's on all of the minds of all of the practitioners listening. Now. Sleep is something that's good for my clients, right? Um, so that's number one. Number two, what can you take in the morning and positively impact sleep at night? I've been asking people for eight years. The only answer I ever got was Ashwagandha. And Then I had somebody else who was kind of more of an ayurvedic expert. It was like, yeah, but Ashwagandha, you have to take in the morning for focus and energy and then you have to take it again in the evening to really help you sleep. Ours again, take it in the morning, mental focus and energy during the day, and then better sleep that night. I mean, we do know things like exercise in the morning will help you sleep, get exposure to the sun, get your circadian rhythm in line with the rising and falling of the sun, that will help you sleep. But to take something in the morning, that's pretty profound. I know we're going to get to the mechanism of action, uh, but just quick teaser, that mechanism of action is why we think it's possibly impacting sleep.
Speaker A: Wow. So I was going to ask, how did this lead you to the longevity and health space? And it was through a toxicity test, through accident. Um, and you got pretty miraculous results here. So, uh, let's talk now about what the mechanism of action is that extended the life, uh, by 90%. And people, uh, that are taking the molecule, what are the effects that they're reporting?
Speaker B: Yeah, again, most consistent is that mental focus and energy during the day, better sleep at night. I'm going to walk you through my thought process, um, here, actually, I'll share a little story. I'll try and keep this brief, but the story is kind of fun. So this, this study comes out in mid 2012. In mid 2013, we start getting phone calls from this crazy wacky group of people called biohackers, which I can say affectionately now because I am now a biohacker. And they were like, hey, how much of that stuff should I be taking? And my business partner Robert, and we're like, wait a minute. That stuff that we sell to research institutions around the world for ink, batteries, tires and photocells, how much of that stuff should you be taking? We thought the answer was zero. Right. Uh, we're conservative carbon nanomaterial scientists. We're like, you probably shouldn't be taking this. We add not for human consumption to our labeling in mid-2013. So think about that. From 1991 all the way to 2013, we don't have not for human consumption on our labeling. We added that, added it then. Now let me be extremely clear. In literature, the molecule is safe. We're just conservative carbon nanomaterial scientists. Right. And it just doesn't resonate. Ink, batteries, tires and photocells resonates the wrong direction, not the right direction. Right and so that turned into this really interesting situation of two to three phone calls per week of again these crazy wacky biohackers going, hey Chris, I gotta share, my knee pain is gone. And I was like, hey Joe, you mean the knee pain of your rat? Because it literally says not for human consumption on the labeling. And Joe was like, yeah, hey, if, uh, if my weighs 275 pounds and does hit training on Wednesdays and Thursdays, should I take, I mean, should my rat take more on hit training days? So, so we knew what was going on. And the only reason we allowed it to continue because in the literature it was known to be safe. Every quarter my business partner Robert and I are going, do we want to get into this industry? We already touched the supplement industry. I mean, at a minimum, compared to delivering commercial quantities of carbon nanomaterials to research institutions around the world, night and day industries, right? When we sold a material, they could give it to a research, uh, associate, they could give it to a grad student, they could test it. They knew exactly what we shipped them. Like, this is not the supplement industry. Uh, and that finally changed in 2017. But every quarter between mid-2013 and 2017, no, we don't want to get in this industry. I actually found in that same time period a peer reviewed published research paper that showed that 50% of the supplements that this research group had purchased on the market didn't have in them what they said they had in them. Right? Like, and that's an end. As soon as I saw that paper was like, we don't want to be in this industry. Well, latter part of 2017, a guy with a big YouTube following starts talking about all the benefits he's getting, taking it on a daily basis. A big YouTube following is how everything changes these days, right? And our phone went from ringing two to three times a week to ten times a day. Right? This is the point in the story where, like Chris and Robert wish they were smarter and knew the opportunity that was available here. So in that quarterly meeting, a couple things happened. One, we looked back to that peer reviewed published research paper where 50% of the supplements on the market didn't have in them what they said they had in them. And we knew that would happen in this space. I've already described, it happened in what we call the industrial C60 space. Um, and then we're in a unique position, the oldest and longest manufacturer and distributor of this molecule on the planet. We're in a unique position to deliver an amazing product. And, and we Decided that we needed to do that and we asked ourselves two questions. The first question is a moral question. Are we comfortable selling it? I take it, My wife takes it. Everybody on our team here takes it. By the way, not a requirement. You don't, you don't log in at my vital C and then take your shot of my vital C. That's not a requirement. Uh, they just have, everybody has access to the research and probably more importantly, they have access to the testimonial phone calls that are coming in. And so yes, everybody here takes it. The next is legal. You've got the fda, the ftc, you got to cross the T's, you got to dot the I's. And so we're off and running. Now. This is where. And now I'll start to get. To answer your question now, my, my, uh, role changes. Right. I'm a chief scientist of a carbon nanomaterial manufacturing business, which I still am, and also the chief scientist of a health and nutrition supplement company. And so now it's my role to figure out what is this doing. We already mentioned sleep. Sleep good for your mental, physical and emotional well being. That's kind of the first place that we hung our hat. And I'll do a short segue here. Um, we did, it was so it's so consistent that we did an ad hoc sleep study. Right. We're actually in the process. We're hoping to start before the end of this year. A clinical trial on sleep. That's how consistent the testimonial is. In that ad hoc study is a low, small cohort of people. Uh, it was a crossover study. So we collected 10 days of survey data about their sleep before, uh, taking the product. 10 days on the product, 10 days off the product, and then 10 days back on the product. 100% of the participants reported improvements in sleep when they were on the product. Okay, that's an ad hoc study, but that's why we're going to do a clinical trial on sleep. So sleep was the first place. The next is why did these rats even live 90% longer? What does the medical community think about aging? And they don't all agree that's how science works, but they tend to think of it as an oxidative and an inflammation process. Right. In terms of oxidation, uh, there's an ad hoc study on the web showing our product to be 172 times more powerful than vitamin C. Right. That's certainly a go to for immune system and certainly I guess part of my stack. Uh, so I would Include vitamin C. There's peer reviewed, published research showing it to be 125 times more powerful than vitamin C. So I'm in Texas. We put a big old check mark next to oxidation. Um, the next is inflammation. And probably a lot of, um, your. This audience knows you have to be really careful when you talk about inflammation, right? Because the FDA equates conversations of inflammation with the diseases of inflammation, which are also the diseases of aging. So arthritis, Alzheimer's, cardiovascular disease, cancers. And if I come on this particular podcast and I say, hey, we address inflammation, what the FDA hears is me claiming I cure cancer, I cure cardiovascular disease. We are not claiming that. Let's be very clear. There is so much research and frankly, extremely expensive research that we need to go into in order to be able to make those claims. What the FDA will allow us to say is that we address inflammation at least as it relates to exercise. So we can put, uh, like a tiny check mark next to inflammation. And then finally this all leads. Great. We've got good sleep, we've got antioxidant, we got inflammation, at least as it relates to exercise. What's driving all of this? Now, this is where we land on the BOSS theory. So the BOSS theory stands for buffering Oxidative stress system. And why is there credibility to this theory? Well, first, there's peer reviewed published research showing this ESS60 molecule gets into the mitochondria. We also know from way back in the 90s that the molecule can hold up to six negatively charged particles on the exterior of the cage. So here's what that looks like. I know. Your audience knows this. Mitochondria is the powerhouse of every cell. There's between 50 and 5,000 mitochondria in every cell in your body, except for your blood cells, which have zero, and your brain and neurons, which have 2 million. It is amazing how much energy our nervous system uses relative to our other systems. So like any power source, there is a negative byproduct. We'll go back to the car. You think about your car going down the road, there's exhaust. You think about a power plant, there's a smokestack, there's smoke. In the case of mitochondria, it's reactive oxygen species. The way I picture these is they're like little bumper cars running around your body. If they're left to their own devices, running around body and everything, they smack into, they cause rust, they cause oxidative stress, oxidative damage, ultimately inflammaging, and that sounds horrible, and it is. And like so many biological systems in our body, there's a way to manage these. And internal to the mitochondria, you have the key antioxidants, glutathione and melatonin. I like to pause here because melatonin is the sleep hormone and our most consistent testimonial is sleep. There's all sorts of parallels here. So in a mitochondria that's dysfunctionally normal, it's producing reactive oxygen species and they're getting managed by the glutathione and melatonin. But what happens when you stress a mitochondria? Uh, well, I like to point out, first off, that begs the question, how do you stress a mitochondria? I like to point out, if you're alive in modern society, you have stressed mitochondria. Like that's everybody, but we're talking to practitioners and people walking in their door have stress mitochondria. And when they do, the mitochondria is producing more reactive oxygen species than can be managed by the internal glutathione and melatonin. And that's when, if they're left to their own devices, there's reactive oxygen species run around the body causing that oxidative stress, that oxidative damage. And that's where the ESS60 molecule comes in. So we, uh, know from peer reviewed published research that it's in the mitochondria and we know it can hold up to six negatively charged particles. So the BOSS theory says this molecule holds on to up to six negatively charged reactive oxygen species. So they can't do damage until that mitochondria can replenish the glutathione and replenish the melatonin. Then it can manage them appropriately. Now, uh, I do have a fun, that's all fun science. Everybody's probably geeking out on it. I do have a fun analogy. Uh, I don't know if you agree with this. I feel like all biological analogies should start with Mardi Gras.
Speaker A: Why not?
Speaker B: A lot of biology happens at Mardi Gras, so why not?
Speaker A: Right?
Speaker B: So it's the end of Mardi Gras and you have these drunk reactive oxygen species running around on Bourbon street, right, causing that oxidative stress, spray painting windows, cars, whatever, smashing windows. And the New Orleans Police Department, the glutathione and the melatonin come onto Bourbon street, handcuff themselves to those reactive oxygen species and get them off of Bourbon Street. But what does the New Orleans Police Department do when they're overwhelmed well, they take those reactive oxygen species and they put them in a paddy wagon, they attach them to the exterior of the ESS60 molecule so they can't do any damage. Right. And then when that New Orleans police department is able to replenish the glutathione, replenish the melatonin, then they can handcuff themselves to those reactive oxygen species and get them off of Bourbon Street. That's why we say that the ESS60 molecule is the boss buffering oxidative stress system. And I think the, the whole summary for this is we believe that we're reducing the negative impact of stress mitochondria. And if we reduce the negative impact of stress mitochondria, you should have systemic benefits. You should have what we have, which are head to toe testimonials.
Speaker A: Oh, I do love a good story that starts with Mardi Gras. But, um, so let's. I want to ask about the product that you have or products that you have, um, and talk about how people are utilizing those products in their day to day and results, uh, that they're getting from my vital C. Yeah.
Speaker B: So I'll break this down first and then we can get into kind of into independent things and I think we can talk about the clinical trials that were already started and actually starting this year. Um, so we tend to think people are like, how quickly might I notice something? We tend to think of the experience on my vital C as about a three month experience, which has a lot of parallels with. Our most consistent testimonial is people taking it in the morning, reporting mental focus and energy during the day and then better sleep that night. So month one, we really do think about focus and energy. And I'll share. Uh, we got a testimonial from an influencer. She took the product in the morning, sent in her video that night, and she pointed out that she didn't finish her cup of coffee. Now, if you're a coffee drinker, that's a big deal. I am a coffee drinker. I used to be a 2 to 3 cup of coffee per day person. I am now more like a half to one cup. Uh, it's actually 12:30 here and I still have a little bit of my coffee left, um, which I probably won't finish today, um, because I just don't need it anymore. So gone. I've gone down from two to three cups a day to really one cup. And I'll tell you, back in 2018, when we started bringing this product to market, when I started taking it On a regular basis, I could get to 2 or 3 o' clock in the afternoon and if I thought, oh, I might need a nap or oh, I might need another cup of coffee, I could remember I hadn't taken my product that morning. Um, and so that's the other reason I don't want to mess with my coffee routine because that's when I take my, that's when I take my vital c. Um, so I don't want to mess that up. Um, so that's, that's focus, uh, and energy. Month one, month two, we really think about deep sleep. I really do believe that deep sleep is happening earlier. Uh, everybody gets a little bit more or less sleep every day. Right? And so to attribute us, uh, an improvement in sleep to something that you started taking can be a little bit challenging because, you know, it doesn't go from, oh, I used to only get five hours and now I get eight. Exactly. It just bumps you up some. Improves that sleep, improves that deep sleep. Um, the testimonial I lean on here is I've got a business coach and he shares that for 50 years he needed an alarm clock in order to wake up when he started taking this product. He wakes up before the alarm clock, right? So that's a situation where he's got late night mixers, late night dinners, none of that matters unless he doesn't get the product for about 10 days. Uh, and then he starts to need the alarm clock again. And that coincides with the data in the literature that this molecule clears out of your system in about 10 days. Um, and then finally month three again, if you think about reducing the negative impact of stress mitochondria. Right. With 50 to 5,000 in every cell, 2 million in your brain cells, um, which, which it's not surprising that our most consistent testimonial is better focus and energy and better sleep. All brain related. When we believe we're addressing the mitochondria and there's 2 million mitochondria in every cell in your brain. Um, so when we're reducing that negative impact of stress mitochondria, then you should have those systemic benefits. And frankly, like I think a lot of practitioners understand there's testimonials coming in that we can't share. We actually have to go in and do more research to be able to share those testimonials. And then, um, I can talk about, I mean, I've got some more, I don't know if you have any questions. I've got, we can talk about, um, the clinical Trials that we're running. We can also talk about, um, a guy named Anthony Kunkel, uh, who is a two time US Ultra running champion. If anybody is stressing their mitochondria, it is Mr. Anthony.
Speaker A: Um, but yeah, yeah, uh, it's marathon season, so let's talk about that guy. Yeah. So his secret is.
Speaker B: Yeah. So Anthony Kunkle, again, two time US Ultra running champion, he run, he won a championship at 50 miles and at 100k. And my first conversation with him was fascinating because he said, hey, I was taking one serving of your product, I didn't really notice anything. And then I joke, like all good biohackers, he tripled the servings. By the way, there are things you should absolutely not triple. It's okay with our product. So he tripled his serving and he said, I was blown away. I believe that your product could be the difference between somebody having running as a hobby and running as a career. Uh, and the reason he said it is because on the last five miles of a 50 mile run, which is a phrase you're never gonna hear again, where strength and stability were previously a problem, they're no longer a problem. And that was really as we were putting together this boss theory to like, how do we explain this? He's stressing his mitochondria, right? We're helping to manage that stress. We're really just supporting the body's natural ability to manage the stress that you're inducing into it. I think of it, uh, I've got another analogy. I think of the reality is a stress is good for us, right? Um, if you don't believe stress is good for us, look at astronauts when they come back from space and what a, what a health dumpster fire they are. Their bone density is decreased, their, their immune system is compromised. Stress is good for us. And I like to picture us like a, ah, beautiful prairie field, right? With flowing grasses and flowers and a, uh, gentle rain is the stress that optimizes that prairie because you have to have stress. But what happens when you get a deep dark cloud of stress pouring into one spot? It's going to cause a mud hole, right? It's going to do damage as opposed to a gentle rain. And that's where I picture this ESS60 molecule coming between that deep dark cloud and that prairie, uh, and collecting that stream of stress. Now it's important to note, if you don't take care of that stress, eventually that sponge will fill up and start pouring stress onto the prairie. Right? So you do have to manage it. But once you do manage. Once that deep, dark cloud of stress, once Anthony has finished running 50 miles, then you can take that sponge and squeeze it over the prairie gently, not having experienced that damage. And we get testimonial after testimonial after testimonial that supports that. That piece.
Speaker A: Uh, well, I think that's something that a lot of people can benefit from, you know, stretching themselves, whether you're an athlete by, you know, your profession or just. Some people get so into that as their hobby, um, which I think is great. But, you know, something my mom used to always say, and now, um, I think I believe it, but I don't know. It's an interesting thing. She used to tell me because I was a competitive athlete, um, growing up, you know, when I lived with her and she was the one making food and giving me supplements. But then when I was off in college, she'd always tell me, like, you need to take a multivitamin. You need to nourish yourself. She said, you'd be better off being a couch potato than, you know, the extreme athlete with multiple practices a day and just being so intense. Um, I thought that was interesting. She said, you're burning up all your nutrition. So, um, I do think there is something to that. Although maybe to an extreme, that was just kind of like her motherly, take,
Speaker B: um, care of yourself.
Speaker A: Yeah. Um. But, yeah, people who are exerting themselves to the extreme are going to need something, you know, for that supplementation. Supplements are to come in and enhance what you're, you know, the nutrition that you have and the different lifestyle pieces that you're doing to, you know, naturally improve your mitochondria, uh, naturally improve, you know, all these productions in the body. So this is definitely something to supplement and go along with that.
Speaker B: Yeah. No, and I think. I think the timing right when you're in your prime, I don't think what your mom was sharing. You were lucky. Uh, I played some professional soccer, and I would eat a Big Mac on the way to the soccer field. Like, I was not focused on overall nutrition, any nutrition. Like, my big nutrition win was, I'm going to choose the chicken, uh, nuggets instead of the burger because of all the carbs in the bun and not that, like. And that was not a good decision.
Speaker A: Yeah.
Speaker B: At all, really. So you're very lucky there. But I do think, you know, as we age, you really do need to take into consideration and. And I think the, you know, the sarcopenia that comes with what? Uh, well, one sarcopenia comes with age. But when you're doing these really long distance, I think if, if, if you set a goal and that's a goal and it really drives you great. And if you don't have the goal right, like, like do that. I think that's, you know, that's paramount. The, the best possible exercises, the exercise that you will do. Um, but running these long distances. My wife and I used to do half marathons every year and I'm just like that's, I don't think that's the right strategy for longevity. So I, I, I agree with your mom, but not at the age she was, she was just trying to get you to eat better and.
Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, have a little supplementation if you will. So um, you know, and we know supplements aren't the, it's not a magic pill. And what you said about the timeline, you know, when can we see Results? I think 30 days is a great start, but three months would probably give you a true average of what your results are going to be. Obviously continue down if you're you know, having those positive results but just within a couple days. Noticing more energy is enough motivation to keep someone going. So that's really great that you know, you can definitely notice a difference right away. Um, get consistent, feel better and then, you know, keep going to make those uh, permanent lifestyle changes.
Speaker B: So yeah, and I'll add we have one testimonials out on, on uh, Google, uh, and it basically like so I was taking the product and at about the three month mark I canceled my subscription and then I stopped taking the product and then I was like, oh, I see what I'm missing. You know, what are the studies that you're continuing here and what are the plans that we can expect from you next?
Speaker B: Well, I like to say that we are a very, very weird supplement company in the best.
Speaker A: Right.
Speaker B: Most supplement companies do not continue to do research. Even fewer continue to publish. We published in 2024, 2025. We will be publishing in 2026. We have already started our, uh, severe headache. Severe and frequent headache study. Right. Because you're not allowed to use a particular word as it relates to that. Um, that has already started. Right. That's driven out of my own testimonial. Uh, I have a spreadsheet that was tracking my severe m. Headaches. Um, my, my kind of fun, interesting story is, uh, when I started taking this on a regular basis at the beginning of 2018, I didn't get a, uh, severe headache for 18 months. So I should have had like six or seven. At that point, I actually went off of the product to join our sleep study. Remember, I described our crossover sleep study, and I got my first headache. Severe headache. Not just headache, but severe headache at that point. Um, that testimonial, my wife's testimonial, um, inbound testimonials from a lot of people. So we started that study. That study is actually up and live. We're really excited about that. Next we're doing an HSCRP studies. That stands for high sensitivity C reactive protein. That's an inflammatory marker. Um, you know, as I mentioned, you got to be careful about how you speak about inflammation. But when we get the results from this, we'll be able to talk about a specific inflammatory marker. The reason we're doing that test is we had a. Dr. Lane Young came up to us at a 4M in Las Vegas. That's the American Academy of Anti Aging in Vegas. And he shared this. And, and by the way, he shared it. And there's like, oh, uh, Dr. Young, I, I, I got to record. You got to say it again. I got to record it. So I have a video of this. He said, chris, I don't care if you're male, female, pre surgery, post surgery, cardiovascular disease, or otherwise healthy, your product is reducing elevated HSCRP numbers, uh, from elevated numbers. And he was talking about nine to normal ranges.09 in four to eight weeks. And I'll talk about the severity of nine here in a second. He also went on to say that we're seeing improvements in sleep and HRV. So that's heart rate variability, um, between 20 and 60%. Uh, the, the, the importance of that HSCRP marker. I spoke to an oncologist kind of after that conversation. I shared that story with him. And he goes, wow, if you're at a nine, as an oncologist, we assume you have cancer. Until we prove otherwise, you are in a severely inflamed state. Um, and so we need to dig in and out what that is. So we reduced it from nine to 0.9 and we'll call it eight weeks. Maybe it was, maybe it was quicker. Um, there is actually also peer reviewed published research on beagles reducing hscrp. So we're, we're expecting, we're anticipating really good results there. Um, next is that clinical trial on sleep. Right. Because we've got that ad hoc study, we want to do a clinical trial on it. And then finally we actually put together a cosmetic product, which is kind of the story behind it's kind of funny. So my director of research came to me at one point and he was like, hey, Chris, I found a peptide. It's got 30 years of skin and hair improvement in, uh, peer reviewed, published research. You should look at it. So I looked at it and I was blown away. And I'm like, we got to make a product and combine this with our ES60 molecule, the peptide, which we call Uth 29. So that stands for. It's kind of cool name Youth 29. Right. Uth 29 is a water soluble peptide. Our ESS 60 molecule is oil soluble. We could have shoved these together with an emulsifier. I don't like how emulsifiers sound. And if you Google emulsifiers, there are no health benefits, only health detractions. So we kept it as a two part solution. So you literally activate this in your hand. Uh, you do one squirt of. Or actually every morning I do two squirts of the Uth 29 lotion. Two drops of the Ess 60 activator per squirt. Right. So I'm doing four drops and you activate it right there in your hand. Um, so, so that is the last study that we're doing, which is a wrinkle and age spot study.
Speaker A: Another big thing that m. I'm seeing more and more of. Um, you know, with aging often comes the spots and, uh, beauty. One thing people were really, uh, vocal about, I'd say, you know, it's everything on, you know, every swipe I make on the Internet. It's, uh, you know, my skincare routine and this and that. So are you saying this could be like a one step skincare routine?
Speaker B: Uh, well, so we, I use that every day. Um, and we do have an actual night serum. So we kind of say night serum at night. Of course not. No rocket science there. Uh, and then we call this the skin reduo set. Um, during the day, please speak to
Speaker A: anything else that you feel is, um, exciting, nerdy. I know you take pride in that. So, yeah, for sure.
Speaker B: I, I Will share that. Um, this is kind of funny. So the Boulder, uh, Longevity Institute. Their. Their group was at a 4M in Vegas, and they came up to our booth, and basically, there's a little bit of hyperbole, but they're like, hey, that opportunity to live longer, I'm not interested. That opportunity to be healthier, I'm not interested. I'm here for your skin reduo set. Like, that's. That's why they, uh, stopped by and visited our booth. Um, I think the thing that I will share. We're. We're really, you know, trying to do a great job. And, And I think we're. We're pretty good at it, uh, to help practitioners, um, and. And, you know, practitioners are looking. How do I monetize and also deliver a lot of value? Uh, I'm happy to do kind of webinars with practitioners which, you know, point them to get healthy. Happy to do that. If anybody out there is interested, um, happy to hop on a call and brainstorm how this might fit into your practice. Um, and, yeah, like, there's.
Speaker A: We're.

And ultimately, you know, I think of it in terms of, like, lifetime value, which, uh, is where a business should be focused at the end of the day. Um, and so I think of it as a lifetime value because it's focused on longevity. Um, and then how do we deliver value to both the practitioner and the client?
Speaker A: Yeah, and that's our goal, too. We want to help patients have better outcomes and increase, uh, you know, their practitioner's profits and protocols. Just the way their system flows and helping them with, uh, providing good products and good education. So, you know, we're here to promote, uh, you know, your product.
