Adina Levy walks through her recently developed Content Forest framework, a strategic system for leveraging AI while preserving authentic voice in content creation. The episode contrasts bland, generic AI-generated Instagram captions with personalized outputs generated through Notion's integrated AI, which accesses her transcripts, style guides, and content seeds. The framework's backbone consists of three elements: style guides documenting tone, voice, content types, and formatting rules (the 'roots'); strategic vision, values, and purpose (also roots); and seed material - transcripts from webinars, podcasts, courses, and voice notes that teach AI her authentic language and perspective. Levy demonstrates how adding a single instruction directing Claude or ChatGPT to reference her tone and transcripts transforms output from generic platitudes into nuanced, story-driven content reflecting her actual voice. The system also includes automation that converts approved captions into carousel posts. Neurodivergent business owners, content creators managing multiple platforms, and anyone frustrated with generic AI output would benefit from understanding how to build similar frameworks using Notion, Claude, ChatGPT, or other AI platforms while maintaining brand authenticity.
Generic AI output results from lack of context - AI has no information about your voice, values, or perspective. Feeding it style guides documenting your tone and voice, transcripts from your own speaking or writing (seeds), and explicit instructions to reference those materials produces 90%+ usable content that actually sounds like you.
The Content Forest is a system for creating personalized AI-assisted content with three backbone elements: style guide roots (tone, voice, content types, CTA rules, formatting examples), strategic roots (vision, values, purpose, why you're building), and seeds (transcripts from podcasts, webinars, courses, voice notes). Together, these direct AI to generate content that preserves your authentic perspective rather than defaulting to generic messaging.
Adina primarily uses Notion because it has integrated AI throughout (with toggles between Claude and ChatGPT models), can access and synthesize content from boards and documents, manages tasks and project tracking, and allows her to build a hub for coaching clients. However, the framework principles are platform-agnostic and can work with Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, or Canva AI.
Seeds are your source material - transcripts from webinars, podcasts, courses, or voice notes you record to yourself but don't publish. These teach AI how you actually talk, think, and share ideas so it can grab your voice and perspective when generating new content variations rather than defaulting to generic language.
Building your business aligned with your neurotype - knowing which tasks energize you, what steals your energy, your sensory and social bandwidth, and designing systems around that - is foundational. The Content Forest itself reduces friction in content creation by automating repurposing, so you're not reinventing the wheel constantly, supporting sustainable, non-burnout business design.
Our reviewer’s read on each dimension, with quotes from the episode.
The episode contains useful tactical insights about building a content system (style guides, source material, platform integration) but much of it is repeated explanation of the 'Content Forest' metaphor rather than novel ideas. The core actionable advice - maintain a style guide, feed AI your transcripts, use source material for voice consistency - is solid but relatively straightforward and takes time to reach.
You need to have seeds. The seeds are the source material behind all of what AI can pull from to create something else.
The style guide, it talks about the tone and the voice. It talks about how to choose different types of content
The 'Content Forest' reframing from 'Content Machine' is more a semantic shift than a novel framework. The underlying approach - using transcripts and style guides as input to AI - is standard practice in the AI content creation space. The episode lacks contrarian takes or first-principles thinking; it documents a personal workflow rather than challenging assumptions about content or AI.
I realized it's a content forest and that opened up so much for me. There's so many metaphors and connections.
The style guide is super important. And that forms what I see as the roots of the trees in my content forest system.
This is a solo episode; the host Adina Levy is discussing her own framework and business practices. While she has relevant experience as a neurodivergent business owner, this is not a guest-driven episode and thus cannot be scored on guest caliber. There are no external practitioners or operators interviewed.
Welcome to the Differently Aligned podcast for neurodivergent business owners. I'm Adina Levy.
I'm an autistic, ADHDer, business coach, speech therapist, professional educator, and multiple business owner.
The episode provides a specific, live demonstration using Notion and ChatGPT, with actual example prompts and output shown. However, evidence is largely anecdotal (one example caption) and lacks concrete data about results - no metrics on engagement, conversion, time saved, or efficacy. The frameworks are described abstractly rather than with detailed case studies or numbers.
I am going to say, write me an Instagram caption about how not to burn out as a neurodivergent business owner.
I have a style guide for each business and for me, because both businesses are like my voice, they're actually very similar
This is a solo monologue with no host-guest dynamic or back-and-forth questioning. The host does not challenge her own claims or explore counterarguments. While the delivery is warm and the speaker engages directly with listeners, there is no conversational friction, follow-up probing, or dialectical exploration typical of high-quality interview-based content.
let me tell you what that is in a moment.
I will say that notion is especially helpful for it.

If you've ever asked AI to create some content for you and cringed at how robotic, weird and generic it sounded, this episode is your fix! "I had this vision of being able to, with the press of a button, take words, thoughts, ideas, writing, transcripts of, me speaking or things straight from my brain, pressing a button and having that be turned into all other types of content where let's say it's 99%. Great. You know, I'm happy with it. I can tweak it and I can improve it, and then it goes out into the world. That's the vision." - Adina Levy In this episode, I share: The exact AI setup I use to make AI write in my voice (plus a live demo showing the difference between generic AI garbage and content that actually sounds like me) Why your AI content sounds like everyone else's and the missing ingredients you need to fix it What you need to include in your own content workflow, so you can create endless AI-assisted content from one transcript, without losing your authentic voice LINKS Free Training: AI for Content Creation in Your Voice - Live training on the Content Forest Framework - If you're here after the training, check the link to see what else I've got to support you!

I had this vision of being able to, with the press of a button, take words, thoughts, ideas, writing, transcripts of, me speaking or things straight from my brain, pressing a button and having that be turned into all other types of content where let's say it's 99%. Great. You know, I'm happy with it. I can tweak it and I can improve it, and then it goes out into the world.
That's been the vision. Welcome to the Differently Aligned podcast for neurodivergent business owners. I'm Adina Levy. I'm an autistic, ADHDer, business coach, speech therapist, professional educator, and multiple business owner.

This podcast is recorded on the Aboriginal lands of the Gadigal and Bidjigal people. I acknowledge the traditional owners, elders past and present, and I extend my respect to any First Nations people who are listening in. Hey there folks. I want to demonstrate to you how I use my AI prompts, tools, frameworks, and all the systems that I've been building for myself to help me create content in a really friction reduced way.
I'm not going to say friction free. I don't want to oversell this, but if you have been playing along and noticing, I have not put out many podcast episodes this year. I've not put out many Instagram posts this year. I've been fairly quiet.
A lot of that is because I've been building, building, building, rebuilding, un building, building again, connecting, zapping, and you know, a lot of AI tinkering on the back end. And the really cool, exciting thing is I'm, getting to a point that I can Use what I've been building, but I can share it with you as well. If you're listening, when I put this out, you know, in the middle of November, 2025, I'm running a live. Training on Friday, the 21st of November.
The recording will also be available for a short time afterwards. Check the link in the show notes to see if it's available or to find other free sources of support that I can offer as well. But if you're listening before the 21st of November or even slightly after, go to the link in the show notes and register free for my AI for content creation in your voice. The Content Forest framework, free training.
I. I'm so excited about everything that I've been dreaming, building, and the progress I've made. This is not an end point. If I was going to wait till it was all totally finished and wrapped up in a bow, that would actually never happen predominantly because.
The world of ai, as I'm sure you're aware, is always changing. It is so super dynamic. And so without getting too deep into the like, what and how of what I've been building, just to kind of share the philosophy around it, is knowing that all the apps and tools and platforms are very dynamic. What I am building is something that is quite, I believe, future proof.
It's quite platform agnostic in a way that said, I do have a favorite platform at the moment, but everything I'm building can then be plugged into a different platform if something looks better or more useful, and the frameworks that I share for how I create content in my voice with the help of ai. It's all about the ideas, the framework, how we link things together, how we prompt. That's what I'm here to share with you. Just a little glimpse of it today.
I'll share a lot more in the live training and with my Neurodivergent Business Collective members. They get a lot more of the tools, resources and you know, the things that I share, a lot more trainings as well. All of the info about the free training, if it's still open, is in the show notes. And the info about the Neurodivergent Business Collective, if you're keen for very affordable, achievable membership where you can have access to me to, you know, ask questions and so many resources, and I can guide you through how you build your business in a way that is aligned for you more and more with the help of ai, automations, systemizing, and so much more.
So all of that said, there's your invite. Now, I did say I have a favorite platform at the moment, and I suspect this will be for the long term. I use Notion now for everything. It's my.
Project management, task management predominantly where I communicate with my va, it's where I put all my notes and thoughts is where meeting notes go. I'm building a hub for my very small select number of coaching clients so that they will be able to have a platform like a specific page that is just between, you know, me and the client with all the resources and everything. They don't even know that's coming up yet. Notion is brilliant.
Now I'm still learning the capabilities of it and the limitations. But one of the coolest things is it's got AI inbuilt throughout the whole thing, which means when I'm talking to AI in the same way as you make chat to chat GPT, it can access all the content on the boards, or I can tell it what to look for so it can find, you know, what's in my task list for today. It can synthesize things, it can actually create things. And I will put a little caveat, you gotta be a little bit wary there.
So, kind of how you let it create things. 'cause it can also destroy things. Like all AI tools, it can make mistakes and it does. So this is something to keep aware of, but it is incredibly powerful and useful.
It is where my personal content forest lives. And let me tell you what that is in a moment. But yours doesn't have to, if you happen to use AI anywhere else, like if you are using Claude, if you're using chat, GBT, if you're using copilot, if you're using Canva ai, you know, there's, each platform is a bit different. They're always morphing.
I'm not going to tell you, you have to use my process anywhere particular. I will say that notion is especially helpful for it. So what is the content forest? The content forest is a dream, a vision that I've had for years and years and years.
But admittedly until a couple of weeks ago, it was called the content machine. And I had this vision of being able to, with the press of a button, take words, thoughts, ideas, writing, transcripts of, me speaking or things straight from my brain, pressing a button and having that be turned into all other types of content where let's say it's 99%. Great. You know, I'm happy with it.
I can tweak it and I can improve it, and then it goes out into the world. That's been the vision. So I had this idea of the content machine and I kept getting stuck on the kind of how, how I was going to make that vision actually turn into like a reality. What did it look like?
How did the pieces move together? I had icons and imagery that I'd like actually literally was using things like cogs and robots and so on. And it wasn't until I had a reframe, and admittedly this was on a walk, I was going for a walk thinking about, I don't know, birds flitting about something like that. Stepping away from, you know, the content machine.
And I realized it's a content forest and that opened up so much for me. There's so many metaphors and connections. This will sound a little woo, and I'm not the most woo person, but it, it really helped me feel more connected to the reason why I'm building the content forest. The content machine felt too distant, too clinical, and even though the idea of it was to take my thoughts and ideas and, reimagine them in different ways.
It didn't have heart and soul, and when I think about a forest, I think about something beautiful, growing, connected, colorful, dynamic, sometimes hard and challenging and sometimes beautiful and enlightening. All of it just clarified to me that the content forest is the metaphor and the terminology that I needed to build. So that. I can connect with the big, big, big idea, which is whichever business I am using it with, whether it's my play, learn, chat business, where I provide supports for grownups who are helping neurodivergent kids have a better life, or whether it's in differently aligned business coaching this business where I'm helping neurodivergent business owners and folks who want to do business differently to find their path to a more aligned business.
Whichever business I'm creating content in. The whole point was that I'm here to share and connect and inspire, and the content machine wasn't doing that for me. Content Forest helps me keep connected to the big why, that purpose of growing ideas. Growing connections, inviting people into my forest.
Oh my gosh. It, you know, the metaphor is there. It's big. And I could go on for hours.
I'll try to contain it like a little bit, but I'm, it was a revelation. Honestly. I, I don't use that word lightly, but it was, so here we are. That's what the content forest is on a very big level.
Now, on a more technical level, the content forest. Is all about helping me create versions of my own ideas, share versions of my own thinking and writing so that I can repurpose and continue to grow new content and share with more people in my voice, with my ideas and my perspectives. I think we've all come across and maybe shared ourselves. very, let's say, bland, AI driven content.
I am going to give you an example of this. So a live example. While I'm chatting with you, I am in an incognito window of chrome, so I'm not logged into chat, GPT, this version of chat, GPT doesn't know me. I'm not logged in at all.
I am going to say, write me an Instagram caption about how not to burn out as a neurodivergent. Business owner. Okay, I'm going to read it out for you and I'm going to describe the emojis, so I haven't given it any context. It has no style.
It doesn't know my thinking. Let's see what chat GPT has done with that prompt. Burnout isn't a badge of honor, especially for Neurodivergent entrepreneurs. Yellow love, heart emoji, sparkle emoji.
Your brain works differently, so your business gets to too. Here's your gentle reminder. Brain emoji. Build systems that fit your brain, not the other way around.
Sand timer emoji. Work in energy waves, not rigid schedules. Little bell with a cross through it, like, no notifications kind of emoji. Protect your sensory and social bandwidth like its revenue in brackets, because it is.
Hands like holding, shaking hands emoji. Ask for support before you hit the wall, not after chat bubble emoji. And remember, consistency doesn't mean daily, it means sustainable. Firstly, I'm confused about the chat bubble emoji, what that has to do with that.
But anyway, let's keep going then. It says, your business thrives when you do take care of the creator. Behind the creation. Yellow heart emoji.
Sparkle emoji. Look, it's not bad, and some of the ideas are good. They're very generic. I talk about some of these, but the way that I talk about them is in my unique voice, my perspective, my stories, my ideas, my language, my frameworks.
That is so important to me that when I'm using ai, which I do a lot, when I'm using AI to help me either think of ideas, repackage ideas, and share ideas, that it doesn't lose the me. And that is so important because in this age where everyone pretty much is using AI chat, GPT, you know not everyone, some people are stepping away from it and that's okay. And I am going to not be the person to guide them because they don't want to know about this stuff. But if you're open to it, if you're open to learning how to use AI better, oh my goodness.
Please join me for the free training. Please stay here and keep joining me to learn how. I am using AI to keep my voice in what I share. So let me tell you now what I've got going in my content forest that is the backbone behind what is going to give it a better result.
When I put that very same prompt into the AI in my notion system that has all the context and the outline that I really need it to have. Firstly, well, there's, there's lots of pieces, but I'm going to try to present this sort of simple versions. So I have a style guide for each business and for me, because both businesses are like my voice, they're actually very similar, but there's a few nuanced differences between each business. So I do have a separate style guide for each one.
And in the style guide, it talks about the tone and the voice. It talks about how to choose different types of content, the types of content that I've decided I want to share in these businesses. Also, in my style guide, I've got. And outline how we share CTAs, how I want to share calls to action in my different types of content.
And then I've got a whole bunch of output and formatting rules for the actual kind of format of how I like things. What's the format that I like for my carousels? Like how should AI break down my ideas so then that becomes the carousel. What does it look like to then become the caption the way that I like it?
I've got examples of what that should look like. It basically has instructions for this kind of content should look like this or should be made up of these components. So style guide is super important. And that forms what I see as the roots of the trees in my content forest system.
It's part of what guides AI to create things in the way that you want. That's what gets us from 0%. In your voice, or you know, oh yeah, it's kind of good enough. I would kind of say that to, Hey, yeah, that does sound like me.
I would've created something really like that. Ooh, I'm just going to tweak that line. Great, I'm done. But also, what goes into the roots are the bigger ideas, the vision, the background behind what are you building?
Why? What do you value? How do you want to connect with your audience? What do you want to talk about and share?
And all of the strategy and direction behind it. Putting in the work to create these guides and to figure them out is a project in itself, and it's greatly facilitated with AI to help you work through each step. And my content Forest framework does help guide me through each step. And over time, I'm systematizing it more and more and I'll be sharing a bunch of it, not just the like, Hey look, this is what I built, but this is how you can build it too.
And here is a prompt you can borrow to actually use these same frameworks in your own business and create these guides for your own content forest. You can name it whatever you want. If you don't want it to be a forest, you want it to be a machine, you go for it. But in your AI creative workflow.
But the biggest, biggest piece of the content forest that I need to share with you is if you want the output to be anything like your own voice and perspective. If you want it to be still genuine to you, where AI has just helped you. Pull out some of your own ideas and package them in a new way. You need to have seeds.
The seeds are the source material behind all of what AI can pull from to create something else. Now for me, I have a lot of transcripts from my webinars, my courses from my podcasts, and I have been feeding my content for us. These seeds, this is where notion comes in. Very, very handy.
'cause it can actually deal with all of these transcripts. Your seeds may look different. It may be you like to write. It may be that you like to leave voice notes for yourself and not actually publish those original notes, but those voice notes might be your seeds.
The transcripts of those may be what you could put into your content forest that AI can then take and learn how you talk. Learn how you share, learn how you write, learn how you think, and grab your ideas so that when you are sharing AI generated content, it's using your voice, your perspective. Okay, so I am. In my notion board, and I'm going to grab that very same prompt I gave to chat.
GPT. I'm putting it into my notion Ai, and I will say you get to choose between different models, at the moment it's giving me the choice between using Claude or Chat GPT, and I've very much been preferring Claude, but it's literally like a little. Toggle button thing as I'm starting a new chat within Notion. So it's very cool that I can actually try the different, models within notion and get quite different results.
Anyway, I'm pasting that very same prompt to write me an Instagram caption about how not to burn out as a neurodivergent business owner. I will just give it one more little clue. Use my tone words. Voice and ideas from the content, forest seeds in bracket transcripts.
That's all I've added is just to direct it, to make it not go generic. So it's thinking, it's looking, it's thinking. It's looking. Now I will say, because this is quite a thorough process, like it's literally digging into my notion documents.
It's also got permission to go through my Google Drive or parts of it. So it's doing the research. My hope is that it ain't going to let me down, and it's going to come out with I would hope at least a 90% usable caption that I would be happy to share. So it's actually taken a story that I shared, a real me story, and here's the caption.
I gave myself permission this morning not to rush. I'm still wearing pajama pants. I didn't do my makeup beyond a bit of powder, and I showed up anyway. This is what building a business without burnout actually looks like.
Not perfect, not polished, just sustainable. Here's what I know. When you're in deep burnout, rest is what you need. Not more pushing, not more discipline, rest, but if you're noticing things are getting hard, harder than what you want them to be, we can improve that before you hit the wall.
It starts with self-knowledge. Knowing your neurotype, knowing which tasks you enjoy and which ones you avoid, understanding what steals your energy and what builds it. You deserve rest. You deserve self-care.
You deserve wellbeing just because you exist, not because you've earned it, not after you've proved yourself right now. Your business can and should support you, not the other way around. You're the owner. You get to call the shots.
Different is not wrong, it's just different. And often creating your business in a way that's different from standard, making it your own to fit you is going to be a benefit. Comment, burnout, and I'll send you my free webinar. Build Your Business Without Burnout.
Hashtag neurodivergent. Hashtag neurodivergent business. Hashtag a h. ADHD Business.
Id like image description, text post about preventing burnout as a Neurodivergent business owner emphasizing self knowledge, rest and permission to do things differently. I'm so happy with that. And what I would then be able to do is probably with two or three more prompts, turn that into the actual. Text split up across 10 slides that would go on the actual carousel post, and a whole new level that I have now built is actually then with a click of two to five buttons, but very effective, efficient, that actually then gets automated to go create.
The carousel, triggers me to go and approve it or tweak it slightly and then posts it. So that's super cool. Now it's not perfect because the call to action doesn't fit something that I'm actually sharing right now. in fact.
The actual topic picked isn't something I'm going to share this week, but honestly, I'm going to keep this as a post to share in a few weeks time because that is my voice. Those are my ideas. I've literally said those words and that framing, and I'm really happy with that. What is super, super cool is the more seeds you feed your content forest and the more you take just a bit of time to pinpoint your style, the purpose of your content, what you want to talk about, your values.
When you collect all of that together, that is the backbone of your content forest. Those are the roots and the seeds, and from there your content can thrive and grow and be so much more streamlined and efficient for you to create it. Now there are obviously many more parts and components and things I can demonstrate and share of the content forest. I will probably keep talking about it over time and I can share stages as I keep building it, but I have so much I'm sharing free in the free training for AI content that I am running on Friday, the 21st of November, and I hope you'll come.
and let me know what you want to hear next. Thank you so, so much for listening. Have a beautiful day.
