Welcome to the inaugural episode of " Fraud Frontlines ," a special limited series within the DataTalk™ podcast, dedicated to exploring the latest trends and strategies in fraud prevention. In this first episode, our host Kathleen Peters , Experian's Chief Innovation Officer of Fraud and Identity, sits down with Nash Ali , Experian's VP of Fraud Strategy, to discuss how fintech innovation has reshaped the fraud landscape and what that means for the future. As financial technology continues to revolutionize how people transact online, it's also changing how fraudsters operate. The rise of GenAI and automated scams has introduced a new level of sophistication that demands equally advanced defenses. Nash Ali is VP of Strategy at Experian Fraud, Innovation and Commercialization (FIC) and NeuroID , an Experian company. With over 20 years in risk management, payments, fraud prevention and strategy, Nash has previously held pivotal roles as Global Head of Risk and Payments at MoneyGram International, as well as leadership roles in risk management at Western Union, Bank of America, and eBay. He has managed product, risk and data science teams at Prove, Socure and CashEdge (Fiserv).
