After 330 episodes spanning six years, Lee Horton concludes Business Problems Solved with a reflective farewell that emphasizes the podcast's profound impact on his personal growth and professional development. He describes the show as his most valuable and humbling experience, shaped by listener engagement and the opportunity to work through real business scenarios. Rather than ending his podcasting journey entirely, Horton is transitioning to The People Puzzle Podcast, a new show designed to support his forthcoming book of the same name, releasing in late April 2025. The new podcast will focus on four core puzzle pieces: alignment, relationships, feelings, and leadership - themes that have emerged throughout his years of conversation and reflection. Listeners who remain subscribed to the existing feed will automatically receive access to The People Puzzle Podcast through the same RSS feed, ensuring continuity for his audience. Horton positions this as a strategic evolution to deepen impact on what matters most to him professionally and personally.

In this podcast, we help you solve your business problems by providing real examples and practical approaches to make today better than yesterday. Introducing your host, the multi-sector, self-professed, most improved improvement person and qualified business problem solver.

Lee Horton. Hey, it's Lee. Welcome to Business Problem Solved. Those words I have said now for six, just six and a bit years, 330 episodes.

It's been a long time. This process has been, and when I talk about process, this process of recording this podcast has been the most reflective, insightful experience that I've ever had. It's also been the most humbling experience as well when people have sent me messages saying they've just listened to an epistode and it made them think something or do something. And for that, I am eternally grateful.

and i cannot i cannot express in words how valuable and important this podcast has been for me personally everything must come to an end at some at some point at some stage and And I decided and it not been easy to decide but I decided to stop recording the Business Problem Solved podcast for a few reasons. One, because I want to impact and help more people, because I want to really double down on what's important to me, for me, and to talk about. And so, although I'm stopping the Business Problem Solved podcast, I am not stopping podcasting.

And where you listen to this, and the place that you listen to this now, if you stay subscribed to Business Problem Solved in a few weeks' time, so this is the exciting news, in a few weeks' time, you will automatically get access to, I'm going to use the same RSS feed to the new podcast. The new podcast that's going to be in line with the book. So we've spoken a number of times that I was writing a book, been writing a book, whether it's been called the Grey Book, whether it's been called the Leadership Cheat Code, all of these different things, whether it's called Themes of People, all working titles for the book that's been in progress now for the last 18 months, two years.

I've finally pushed publish on that book. And so I am well excited to say that although the Business Problem Solved podcast will stop, maybe not indefinitely, but will stop, the new podcast is going to be called The People Puzzle Podcast Because the book is called The People Puzzle And I want to talk about and double down on the four pieces of The People Puzzle Puzzle piece number one alignment Puzzle piece number two, relationships. Puzzle piece number three is feelings. And puzzle piece number four is leadership.

Those are the four puzzle pieces that I want to double down on on The Puzzle. the People Puzzle Podcast. Business problem solving is far easier to say. But in a few weeks' time, I will be launching the People Puzzle Podcast.

It will exactly be where you are listening to this today. So please, please, please do not unsubscribe. Please anticipate and wait for the new podcast that is coming because I want this to be really targeted. I want it to be supportive of the book.

The book that I've just written, that is, depending upon the time that you listen to this, that is due for release at the back end of April 2025. It is a culmination of a lot of the stuff that we've spoke about in the Business Problem Solved podcast, a lot of the stuff, and I want to really just have a bit of focus on each of the puzzle, the people puzzle pieces. So the Business Problem Solved podcast, last orders or the last episode, the current last episode is this one. And I just want to say thank you.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for just everything that this podcast has enabled and provided for me. It's given me an opportunity to speak to, interview, make friends with, build connections with just some of the most amazing people in the world It has also allowed me to reflect on different situations that have taken place in my life and really reinforced my own learning of each of the different situations and scenarios I find myself in because I've been able to talk them through with you one-to-one as well.

So thank you so much for everything that you have provided me and listening to this podcast. Thank you for your comments. Thank you for your messages, whether those have been emails, whether those have been LinkedIn or other social media mechanisms, I just want to say thank you. The Business Problem Solved Podcast is the single biggest reflective space that I've ever had and I have grown vastly from it.

Podcasting is not stopping. It's just being switched up to something. Maybe indefinitely, maybe for a period of time. Who knows?

But for now, please sit tight and get ready for the People Puzzle podcast and book that is coming your way. Thank you so much for everything. And I look forward to chatting again very soon. Thanks for listening to Business Problem Solved.
