Building 32 ranks #6115 on The B2B Podcast Index with a substance score of 27.0 out of 100, scored across 1 recent episode. It scores highest on guest caliber and specificity & evidence. Unnamed speakers offer single-sentence teaser clips that are impossible to evaluate for depth or practitioner credibility; the MIT CSAIL brand implies caliber that the transcript itself does not demonstrate.
Averaged across 1 recently scored episode, with cited evidence.
This is a 2-minute promotional trailer with zero substantive content for a B2B operator; it contains only teasers and marketing copy with no actionable ideas or novel claims.
“It's not a piece of code or a sustainable construction material, and it's not another robot. It's a podcast.”
There is no original thinking present - the episode is a scripted announcement reel that does nothing more than name-drop technologies and promise future content.
“For decades, researchers at CSAIL have been imagining and building the technologies that shape how we live, work, play, and learn.”
Unnamed speakers offer single-sentence teaser clips that are impossible to evaluate for depth or practitioner credibility; the MIT CSAIL brand implies caliber that the transcript itself does not demonstrate.
“We understood that we didn't understand.”
“The, uh, field of cryptography has advanced immensely, and it's way beyond securing communication.”
The only concrete specifics are brief brand name-drops (Dropbox, OkCupid) used as illustrative flourishes with no accompanying data, metrics, or substantive context.
“Some are ideas you might expect to have come out of MIT Dropbox.”
“Free. Okay, Cupid. We screen them before you see them.”
There is no conversation whatsoever - the episode is a scripted monologue host introduction with out-of-context audio clips; no questions, no follow-ups, no dialogue of any kind.
“I'm Karen Given. Join me once a month for building 32 from MIT CSAIL alliances coming July 13th.”

I love how easy to digest the Building 32 podcast is. Really cool insights from the lab. I also think it’s well-produced and also teaches me from experts themselves.

I like listening to professors and researchers outside a ted talk/lecture style setting they’re usually in, so I really enjoyed this podcast and I’m looking forward to future episodes with more of them
