Brandon Lucero breaks down the exact mechanics behind his Grounded Parenting brand's viral explosion this past week - growing from 50k to 113k followers in seven days while simultaneously generating 1,800 email leads and 9,500 DM contacts. The strategy centers on three content pillars: self-identifying content that makes parents recognize themselves, validation content that addresses their insecurities, and educational content solving singular problems with speed and ease. He created a product funnel in a single Sunday using Claude to build sales pages, offering a free parenting guide, a $27 "Stop Yelling" guide, a $7 upsell of 100 conversation scripts, and a one-click upsell for AI prompts. The breakthrough came from identifying viral messaging patterns already working in the parenting space, adding his own spin to create "polarizing yet validating" content that unlocked algorithmic growth on Facebook and Instagram particularly. At roughly $200 daily revenue ($6k monthly run rate) with minimal time investment and no ad spend, he's positioning this as a second six-figure business and using the success to validate his Content Lab agency model for helping coaches and consultants build audiences through short-form content strategy.

Key takeaways

  • →Polarizing and validating messages create the biggest algorithmic unlock - analyze what's already trending in your niche and add your unique perspective rather than creating from scratch.
  • →One viral video can unlock a new tier of engagement on social platforms, making subsequent posts perform 5-10x better even without follower growth, because the algorithm recognizes you can create engaging content.
  • →Product funnels built with Claude (creating opt-in pages, sales pages, and email sequences in hours) paired with viral content generate $200+ daily revenue in passive sales with only 15-20 minutes daily content creation.
  • →Facebook cross-posting from Instagram is essential - in this case, growing from zero to 34,000 Facebook followers in seven days while Instagram grew 20-30k followers, proving multi-platform distribution multiplies reach.
  • →Self-identifying, validation, and educational frameworks (using data to identify top-performing frameworks like "five words") are more effective than generic motivational content for driving conversions and building engaged audiences.

Questions this episode answers

How did Brandon Lucero grow Grounded Parenting from 50k to 113k followers in one week?

He identified polarizing yet validating messages already trending in the parenting space, created his own version of them, posted a viral video that reached 500k views, then followed with educational content using data-backed frameworks (like the 'five words' format) that he knew performed well, triggering an algorithmic unlock where all subsequent posts performed 5-10x better.

What products and pricing did he create for Grounded Parenting?

A free parenting guide with three conversation scripts, a $27 'Stop Yelling' guide teaching communication without yelling, a $7 upsell offering 100 scripts for different situations (bedtime, sibling fights, etc.), and a one-click upsell for Claude/ChatGPT AI prompts that generate situational parenting advice.

How much revenue did Grounded Parenting generate in the first week?

Approximately $584 in sales plus 1,800 email list signups and 9,500 DM contacts, averaging $100-200 daily with a best day of $224, which projects to roughly $6,000 monthly run rate.

What tool did Brandon use to build the sales pages and funnels quickly?

Claude (AI) allowed him to input product details, problems, branding guides, and sales page sections, generating complete sales pages, email sequences, and opt-in pages within a couple of hours on a Sunday.

Why does posting to both Instagram and Facebook matter for growth?

Cross-posting to Facebook from Instagram grew the Facebook page from zero to 34,000 followers in seven days, demonstrating that multi-platform distribution significantly multiplies reach and unlock algorithmic growth differently on each platform.

Insight Density

7 / 20

There are a handful of genuinely usable tactics buried in 21 minutes - validation content framing, the 'unlocking' threshold concept, lead-magnet funnel sequencing - but roughly half the runtime is self-congratulation, rambling, and promotional plugs for a Zoom call. The insight-to-filler ratio is poor for a B2B audience.

we focused, uh, really heavy on self identifying content. Content that got people to recognize, oh my gosh, that's me and raise their awareness. And then we really leaned into validation content
when one video goes viral and gets to, like, let's say 20,000, it's like the platform will unlock for you where it becomes easier for you to get to 20,000, and that sort of becomes your new normal

Originality

5 / 20

The core ideas - find what's already going viral and riff on it, use polarising-yet-validating messages, build a lead-magnet funnel - are thoroughly standard content-marketing doctrine. The 'unlocking' metaphor is mildly interesting but is asserted without any mechanism or evidence, and the funnel structure ($27 guide, $7 order bump, one-click upsell) is completely conventional.

So it's polarizing but validating at the same time
I sell the guide for 27 and then I created another guide for 27 which is like AI prompts

Guest Caliber

4 / 20

This is a solo monologue by the host promoting his own product (Content Lab) using one week of results from a side-project parenting brand with under $600 in revenue as the proof point. There is no guest, and the practitioner evidence is very early-stage and self-referential.

I'm going to be doing a zoom call this Thursday, so I want you guys to be there. It's a very impromptu, not a formal call

Specificity & Evidence

10 / 20

The episode is better than average on raw numbers - specific follower counts, view tallies, daily revenue figures, product price points, and contact list sizes are all named - but every data point is self-reported from a single chaotic week, the presentation is disorganised (numbers are corrected mid-sentence), and there is zero third-party validation or comparative benchmark.

in the past week we made roughly 550 to $600. $584, uh, pretty much on autopilot
1.2 million views on that video in, like four days. Uh, 9,000 DM contacts to an email list of 2,000

Conversational Craft

3 / 20

This is an unstructured solo monologue with no interviewer, no questions, no pushback, and no shaping of ideas through dialogue. The episode is punctuated by multiple promotional interruptions urging listeners to register for a Zoom call, which further undermines its value as educational content.

Oh, man, do I have a story for you. One of the craziest, wildest things that has ever happened to me in business happened this week
If you want to attend that, go to brandon lucero.com Private Zoom. One word, Private Zoom. Pause. Uh, this video, this podcast. Go do that now

Episode notes

Ever had a week where everything you touch turns to gold? Last week was that for me. I launched a little parenting side brand to test our AI and suddenly exploded from 50K to 113K followers in seven days. Before my sales funnel was even ready. I watched 1.2 million views roll in, grabbed 1,800 email leads, 9,500 DM contacts, and pulled in $584 on autopilot. Sounds nuts, right? But it wasn't luck. It was a system. Today on the podcast, I'm pulling back the curtain on how I engineered this viral unlock and built a profitable marketing funnel in days (not months). Listen in and discover: • How to craft polarizing, validating hooks that trigger the algorithm • The three content pillars (identity, validation, speed) that drove our first 27K followers • AI shortcuts to create guides, sales pages, and email sequences in hours • An evergreen funnel blueprint that consistently makes $100 - $200 daily • The "5-word" framework that took a video from zero to 1.2M views If you've ever wanted to go from zero to viral and actually monetize it, this episode is for you. Ready to replicate this growth?

Speaker A: Oh, man, do I have a story for you. One of the craziest, wildest things that has ever happened to me in business happened this week. Um, and I'm just. I'm just, like, living in a moment of, like, what the heck just happened? So if you want to learn what that is, then keep on listening. Hi, I'm Brandon Lucero, and you are about to experience the new way to thrive in business, entrepreneurship, and life by leaning into who you are, what you love, and standing up for what you want to create. Get ready, because this is where we go against the grain. Say no to outdated society norms, and we say yes to change in order to create a happier, more fulfilled world. Welcome to the New Generation Entrepreneur Podcast. Hello, ladies and gentlemen. Welcome back to another episode of New Generation Entrepreneur Podcast. I have a fun episode here for you guys today. Oh, my gosh. The past week has been just insanity. So, um, if you guys have been following along the journey of what we've been doing inside of business, uh, it's been a journey this past year inside of business, but has led me to, back in September, starting a parenting brand as an example of how good our AI was, which we were using the B bot to help build it originally. And then in that process, I'm like, I just really love the psychology of. Of content. And it got me back to the roots of how I built my business in the first place, which was content. And so much has changed since then compared today. And so where we're at now is that's pretty much all I want to do is. Is from a messaging perspective. I want to just talk about messaging in the form of content. So this means how do we find the right topics? How do we create demand? How do we go viral? How do we build a following? How do we get the following off social media? How do we get them to buy stuff? So I started this parenting brand as a side project because I was like, well, I have expertise in it. I have experience in it. Um, obviously, I have the experience. I've been a parent for 12 years, and, um, it's just been something I've been wanting to do for a really long time, called to do for a really long time. So we did it, right? We did it, and we grew really fast. In the first 60 days, we had 27,000 followers, um, combined on all of our social media platforms. And I was like, this is awesome. In 60 days. Well, I'm gonna tell you now we're at 113,000 followers amongst all of our social media platforms. And I will tell you, um, about a week ago we were about 50,000 followers amongst all of our social media platforms. And then a week later we're at 113,000. So that's why this week has been crazy. Um, so I'm going to go through the first phase. The first phase of how we got here in the first place was basically just finding new ways to create content. So titles and hooks and how do we get people to stop the scroll and pay attention and what's the psychology behind it and what are the psychological profiles the algorithms are using? And just like figuring this out and like how do we bridge the gap between you, your expertise, your knowledge, your skills, your thoughts, your perspectives, your thinking and virality when we aren't influencers, right? We're not people that are dancing and pointing. We're not like creating prank videos or funny videos or you know, talking about our smoothie that we just bought and whatever. Like we're not, most of us aren't living that influencer life maybe a little bit. But really at the end of the day, we're not like influencers because we want to entertain people. We're influencers because we want to improve people's lives. And there is a big difference between the two. And so that's what we, we started this journey on. And so I've just been learning more and more and more, just getting in the trenches, doing it myself, figuring it out, bringing people into content lab, seeing the students grow, seeing the students get like five times the engagement they normally get. We, I remember we had one student on M this last call. It's like I joined on Monday and I went viral. By Thursday I had 42,000 views on a, on a video. And I was like, that's awesome. That's like, that's what we're here to do. So the growth happened originally because we focused, uh, really heavy on self identifying content. Content that got people to recognize, oh my gosh, that's me and raise their awareness. And then we really leaned into validation content, which is like creating messages that validate people's experience and thoughts and insecurities, um, which is really powerful content. If you didn't know what we were doing, you would look at that and go, oh, that's just like motivational or inspirational. And it's not, it's, it's valid. It's like we're validating someone who needs validation. And we, that grew really fast for us. And then we did educational content, uh, with a focus of solving a singular problem with speed and Ease and that like those three things is what allowed us to grow really fast to our first 27,000 followers. And then over the last couple months I just kind of posted when I could and you know, like gave it a good effort. But I would say about 30 days ago I'm like, no, we're going, I need to go all, all in again with grounded parenting. So that's what we did and then we pretty much exploded this past week. So let me just recap you with, with basically what happened. We, I started posting more and more stuff and um, I like sort of in the back of my head was like, well, I want to see if we can like really take this to the next level and I want to see if we can build an email list from this and I want to see if we can make sales from this and all this stuff. So uh, uh, what I did on a Sunday was sat down with, with Claude, little Claude, Claudia Claude, and sort of figured out like based off of my analytics and what was working on the ground parenting, like, what is a big problem? How do I solve it? What, what can I create as far as products go? And then I put together a couple products. Uh, uh, one of them is a guide that is um, like it's called the last time you'll ever yell guide. So it's like teaching parents how to communicate with their kids without yelling. Then I created like an order bump for seven dollars. That's a hundred scripts that they can use in different situations, like bedtime routine at the morning table to avoid a fight, sibling fights, like what do we need to do? So for seven bucks, uh, I sell the guide for 27 and then I created another guide for 27 which is like AI prompts that you can use with Claude or ChatGPT that will tell you what to say in any situation that you can use. Kind of like on the go. So that's what I created. Sat down on a Sunday, created those. Um, then I used Claude, uh, which if you guys aren't using Claude to design opt in pages and sales pages yet, then you're, you're a little cray cray. Um, so I basically put in everything about the products. I told Claude everything, wrote out the problems, all the sections we need for sales pages, our branding guide. And then it uh, it created some sales two sales pages for me for each of these products. Um, and I'd say within a couple hours I had the products made, I had the sales pages done, I had emails written and we were like ready to go. So we Set it all up. Uh, so basically people are gonna opt in for a guide, free guide. Like it has three scripts on it about how to um, like communicate with their kids without yelling. So there's three scripts and then, um, once they opt in on the thank you page, there's an offer to the $27 guide on how to eliminate yelling forever. Um, when they buy that, there's an order bump for seven bucks to add the 100 scripts to order. And then there's one click upsell for the AI prompts. And then once they opt in, if they don't buy, they get a 48 hour email sequence that basically sells the guide again. So we pitch the guide over the next 48 hours. So we set that up. And I was kind of holding off posting on Grounded Parenting because like, I don't really, I was like, I don't really want to go viral if we don't have the funnel set up. And I just, because I really want to just like have proof of concept that we can generate leads from this. And um, I thought it was going to get all set up in time and then it wasn't. So we actually went viral before it was all set up. Um, but there was a process that I used to go viral. And so what happened was with the process I'm about to lay out for you, um, I'm just going to give you guys the stats. So let me pull those up. Um, in the last week we, in the past week, what do we do? Here we are here. Uh, in the past week we made roughly 550 to $600. $584, uh, pretty much on autopilot. Evergreen. Um, we have generated 1.8 thousand. No, hundred leads. So 1800 leads. So people on my email list for the parenting brand, um, and then we added. Give you the number here in a second. We added nine. No. Ah, yeah, 9,000. Sorry, 9,500. I'm not kidding. 9,500 people on our DM list. And what this means if you use like Manychat or go high level or anything like that, anytime someone sends you a DM and you have your social media hooked up, like those people become contacts inside of GoHighLevel and you can DM them. So if you have like a campaign or something that you just can DM them out. So I mean that's pretty insane. One week, 9,500 contacts, an email list of almost 2,000 people. We did about 500 in sales. And by the way, I think the 500 in um, sales is light. I think with 2,000 people opted in, we should have done more. However, none of it's like fine tune. All of it was slapped together and we were getting leads and stuff before the products were even up and, and then we had some issues with it. So we're a little bit behind. But I will tell you we're like getting 200ish dollars a day. Like between a hundred and 200. Our uh, best day so far is 224. But two, like, you know, day one was 170, the next day was 160, the next day was 224. Today so far is 70 bucks. And I'm, you know it's two o' clock in the afternoon so you know, we, we could like, we're, I think that's pretty good, right? So if you, you take $200 a day, times that by 30 days, that's six grand a month. So if this continues, which I don't see why it wouldn't because I understand how to go viral. Like, like we're talking six grand a month, $72,000 a year. And all I'm doing is spending 15 minutes to record a record and edit a video. Like if you guys look at the ground, parenting stuff. All I'm doing is just uploading it to TikTok, throwing the hook right there on the screen, putting captions and calling it a day. They downloading it, uploading it to Instagram, uploading it to YouTube and, and, and like, and Facebook now and like that's it, calling it a day. So to spend, and then I spend maybe five minutes inside of Content Lab every day just like so I use the hooks inside of Content Lab and I use this like more or less the script and I use Content Lab to like help me piece this content together. And we're you know, making like if this continues, six grand a month, like that's wild, right? There's no ad spend, there's nothing and there's no fulfillment. These are all low ticket products. So I just deliver the products and that's it. There's no coaching, there's nothing. And so I feel like that's pretty good. And then if I fine tune this, we're talking like this could be a six figure business. This and I'm going to tell you this is going to be a second business for us. We've already made that decision internally. So you know, we're talking like this is going to be a six multiple, six figure business within the next couple months probably I would imagine um, like, by the end of the year, probably, and I don't mean where we would have produced 100 grand, but we would be like a run rate, meaning, you know, we'd be at, like, 10 grand a month or something like that in revenue. So, anyways, I'm telling you guys all this because I want you to understand that, like, it's never been easier to go viral than it is right now. It really has not been easier than right now, at least from my experience. And so there was something that I did, um, very intentionally to get this kind of growth. So first of all, this one was by accident. What I did is I. I started a. A Facebook page, and I feel like the content that I'm creating, Content Lab content, goes viral very easy on Facebook. Now there's a lot of, like, people out there saying, well, a lot of people on Facebook are actually bots and AI and they're not real people and whatever. Uh, who cares? Like, either they are or they aren't. No one really knows for sure. And even if they are, like, you still need to grow a following on social media, so there's no avoiding it. And then the next question is, like, well, how many of you are even getting the bots to watch your content, even if that is the case? Uh, but I can tell you most of them are not. Most of, like, a lot of people are not. They're not AI bots, because people are opting in for stuff. People are buying stuff. Right? So anyways, I. If all of you are not. If any of you are not using Facebook, I would 100% don't do that. And especially because if you hook it up to Instagram, it's just. It just. You post it to Instagram and it automatically goes over to Facebook. So you should absolutely be doing that. Uh, the growth that we saw, um, I went from about, um. I think, oh, gosh, I should really look this up before I record it. But I think we were close. Like, 14,000, maybe a little bit less. Maybe 9,000. Somewhere, like, not, like, between, like, around 10 to 14,000 followers. Um, and then two weeks later, we're at about, like, 41,000. Okay, so we had huge growth, like, 20 or 30,000 people. We've added in the last, like, two weeks to Instagram followers. We went from zero on Facebook to 34,000 followers, um, like, pretty much in seven days. And we did that with eight posts. It's pretty crazy. And then TikTok is relatively about the same. There wasn't. There actually wasn't too much movement on TikTok, which is weird because TikTok was always easier for us to go viral. And some of the stuff just didn't take off. So what I did is I was like, okay. I started to recognize that there was something going on. And the thing that was going on was, by the way, I'm going to be doing a zoom call this Thursday, so I want you guys to be there. It's a very impromptu, not a formal call. I'm just going to be talking, just like I'm doing now. I'm just going to be telling you what I did, showing you, answering questions. Like, I can go behind the scenes and just show you guys what I'm doing. If you want to attend that, go to brandon lucero.com Private Zoom. One word, Private Zoom. Pause. Uh, this video, this podcast. Go do that now. So it's brandon lucero.com private zoom. And you can register for it. Okay. Um, so the thing that I did is I'm like, okay. Well, I started to recognize that, especially with Facebook and Instagram, when one video goes viral and gets to, like, let's say 20,000, it's like the platform will unlock for you where it becomes easier for you to get to 20,000, and that sort of becomes your new normal. Like, you'll see 20,000 a lot more. You'll see 5,000 a lot more. You'll see 15, 10,000 a lot more. It's like this unlocking that happens, and that becomes your new normal. Then what happens is you're going to go, uh, another level of IRL, like 100,000. And then it's, uh, so much easier to get to that hundred thousand later. And then it just goes on and on and builds from there. So I was like, okay, well, how do I, like, really just. Cause a big unlocking. And what I mean by that is, like, I don't really care right now in this moment about getting followers or getting, um, leads or getting whatever. I don't care about that. I want an unlocking. And so I was like, let me just go through and look at all this stuff that's been fed to parents and like, what's a message that's getting a lot of traction right now? So I found a video, a couple videos that were just, like, getting massive amounts of engagement in the parenting edge. And there's, like, several accounts with a very similar message. And I was like, hell, yeah. Like, this is great. And so what I did is I used that message as inspiration and used my own version of it. But what it did is it validated a lot of moms in the space and becoming from. From a man. It was like, okay, we probably held even more weight. And so I'm like, yeah, this is a message I love. A message I believe in. It's going to be polarizing, but it's also going to validate a massive amount of people. So it's polarizing but validating at the same time. And I was like, yeah, this is it. And so I recorded my version of it. I actually did it like three or four times because the first couple versions of it I didn't love. And I'm like, ah, uh, no, I got to do it this way, this way. So I really took the time to make sure I did it right. And this thing went viral like almost instantly. Like, and it shot up to like 500,000 views. And I was like, okay, great. Like, this is a huge unlocking. Give me 3,000 extra followers. No leads, no sales. Okay. And then I was like, okay, this unlocking's happening. And at this point I'm like, I gotta create this product in this funnel and get it up. But I'm like, no, I'm just gonna, I'm just gonna do this educational video even though we don't have the funnel totally up. And then I put a call to action in the video. Um, they're like, get our free guide comment the word dad. Get this guide. And I did a five words video and a one liner video. Now we'll go into more details of this and what those are and why that works on the zoom call. So go to brandlocero.com uh, privatezoom. Um, so anyways, we do that and I put it out there and this thing immediately just skyrockets, just takes off. And I'm getting thousands of people dming the word dad. Just. I'm like, oh my God, this is blowing up. And then now we're like rushing to get the product out, rushing to get the funnel up. Like this thing's going viral. I had, I did luckily have the opt in page set up and the guide set up, but no products, no sales. And I'm like, oh my God, need to get this thing up there. And. And so we did. And so we finally got it up like a couple days. So we definitely would have made a lot more money. Um, but again, we're like making 200 bucks a day with it right now. And uh, we got this thing up there. But that combination of like, what is a validating and polarizing message, What's a message that's already going viral. Let's give our own spin on it. So we get this, like, virality unlocking happening, and then we're going to hit them with content. Ah, That I already know works because I looked back at my grounded parenting channel, like, what were the. What was the number one framework that has the most views? I'm okay, okay, great. It's five words. If you're in Content Lab, five words has been working great for us. And then I said, okay, well, what's the number one problem? And it's about yelling. So I'm like, okay, great, I'll do a five words post on yelling. So I just used the data to analyze what frameworks were working, what problems working, and then did that attach a guide to it and ba boom, 1.2 million views on that video in, like four days. Uh, 9,000 DM contacts to an email list of 2,000. We're making sales every day. And I was like, this is awesome. So now, uh, the next day I just decided to do a normal video. So this was. There was no intention behind it. Like, the other two were very masterfully crafted out to, like, have that effect. This next one, I'm like, I just want to do a regular piece of content and let me just see what happens. Like, I'm not going to try to go viral. I'm not going to try to put a hook on it. I'm just going to go to Content Lab and just do, like, do one real quick. And it's just like, whatever. That one got 112,000 views. I was like, oh, my God, this unlocking is happening. And then I did one where I did was not intentional with it. I just went on a walk and I'm like, I'm just going to talk the way I would normally talk. I'm not going to be intentional with the hooks. I'm not going to be intentional using content labor. And then I did that one, and that one got like 9,000 views, when normally that would have gotten like 200. So this unlocking thing is real. Like, yeah, I have a lot more followers now, too. But, like, just because someone follows you doesn't mean they're going to automatically see your content. So that also happened. Um, so we had all of this stuff happening and we made the decision we're going to turn this into a real business. And it just really makes me excited for Content Lab, the agency that we're building, that's the coolest Content Lab agency where we're going to be able to do this for people to take thought leaders, coaches, consultants, people with expertise and help them build an email list and build an actual business by showing you how do you take your thoughts, your teachings, your perspectives and mold them, present them in a way through short form content to build a following fast because it has never been easier. So that's the journey I've been on this past week. I'm so excited to keep you guys in the loop with what happens with this because we have so many things happening right now in such a moment, like a positive forward momentum and so I'm really excited for it.
