Amanda Bucci's solo episode centers on the gap between recognizing you have a gift and actually actualizing it in a sustainable, paid way. She argues that while identifying your gifts - the unique perspective, vision, or problem-solving ability only you can bring - is the first step, the real work lies in identity alignment and radical responsibility across multiple dimensions of life. She unpacks the specific responsibilities that underpin sustainable success: mastering business and marketing skills (not just your craft), developing communication prowess, continuous education in your field, healing limiting patterns, and maintaining your body, mind, and home as functional vessels. Bucci uses her own examples - including her book-writing journey - to illustrate how identity precedes results, and how shortcuts fail without structural soundness. She acknowledges this is demanding work, positioning it as self-leadership rather than a quick path to wealth. For B2B operators, coaches, and creators with a vision, the episode cuts through the romanticized idea of 'doing what you love' and replaces it with a framework for sustainable brand building through personal mastery.

Key takeaways

  • →Your gifts only actualize when you take radical responsibility for all the skills and systems that support them - business, marketing, health, healing, and integrity - not just talent alone.
  • →Identity must shift before results; you need to embody the version of yourself that has already achieved the vision to become that person.
  • →The difference between recognizing you have something to offer and monetizing it lies in mastering communication, language precision, and the business infrastructure to deliver your gift at scale.
  • →Taking responsibility for your body as a vessel (health, energy, clarity) is foundational; brain fog or physical depletion directly sabotages the work you're trying to do.
  • →Sustainable leverage and high-ticket business models require structural soundness across your mind, body, business systems, and relationships - you cannot build long-term value on weak foundations.

Questions this episode answers

What does it mean to own your gifts in a practical sense?

Owning your gifts means recognizing you have a unique perspective or solution others don't, and then taking radical responsibility for the business skills, communication ability, personal healing, and physical health required to deliver that gift sustainably to the people who need it.

Why do some people with real talents never make money from their work?

Talented people often fail to monetize because they don't take responsibility for learning business, marketing, and sales skills; they blame external factors instead of addressing their own skill gaps, communication issues, or structural weaknesses in how they deliver their gift.

How do you shift your identity to align with your vision?

You actively decide to identify as the actualized version of yourself (e.g., writing your name with 'Author' underneath before writing the book), and then engage in daily practices and choices that reinforce that identity until your external reality matches your internal belief.

What role does healing play in actualizing your potential as a coach or creator?

For those selling wisdom or guidance, unhealed patterns create energetic leaks and power drains that undermine long-term sustainability; you must actively see and transform your patterns rather than validating or fighting for your limitations.

Why is taking care of your body a business responsibility?

Your body is the vessel for your soul and your work; brain fog, fatigue, or poor health directly sabotage your ability to show up clearly, think strategically, and maintain the vitality required to deliver high-leverage work and client results.

Insight Density

4 / 20

The episode is almost entirely composed of personal-development platitudes - 'radical responsibility,' 'shadow work,' 'energetics,' 'identity shifts' - with almost no novel, non-obvious claims a B2B operator could act on. The few practical points (learn business skills, find the right language, care for your physical vessel) are generic and surrounded by extensive padding.

Your gifts reveal themselves as the seed of who you could be when you take ownership of how powerful you really are.
Holding responsibility is the price you pay for your potential to be actualized.

Originality

3 / 20

Every framework deployed - inner child integration, shadow work, frequency/energetics, creator-vs-consumer, the 'vessel' metaphor - is recycled standard fare from the spiritual-entrepreneurship genre. There are no contrarian arguments, no first-principles reasoning, and no claims that challenge conventional wisdom in any meaningful way.

your mind is the translator of your soul
we have to mature, mature them. We have to mature our parts. We have to bring our parts into integration, into the light, into maturity.

Guest Caliber

4 / 20

This is a solo monologue with no guest whatsoever. The host references running a 'seven figure' business and having clients in 'the path,' but credentials are entirely self-asserted with no verifiable context, and the content never demonstrates practitioner-level depth on any specific business domain.

I, uh, I'm, I'm paying attention, I've got something.
I have at least three or four. If not, like, like I have so many certifications and um, like studenthood training, mentorship experiences that I want to invest in

Specificity & Evidence

5 / 20

A handful of concrete details appear - pounds lost, months of health coaching, and aspirational revenue figures - but these are personal anecdotes or unanchored numbers, not business evidence. The vast majority of claims are abstract and unsubstantiated.

I lost 17 pounds, which I didn't even know I had to lose and got in the best shape of my life
we did um, a three week cleanse and um, for like lowering inflammation. And then we did six or seven months of work together

Conversational Craft

2 / 20

This is an uninterrupted solo monologue with no guest, no questions posed to anyone, no follow-ups, and no productive tension of any kind. The rhetorical questions are self-answered and largely serve as affirmations rather than intellectual exploration.

Super fun, right? We love radical responsibility. It's so fun. Oh my God, it's like nothing but the most fun ever.
So let's talk about the gifts you have in your. In your heart, in your soul, and your body, in your awareness.

Speaker A: Hello, hello, and welcome back to the Amanda Bucci Show. We have a new name where we talk all things living in alignment with your truest self, turning your gifts into a brand and business, and the energetics and identity shifts required to make it happen. So excited to be here with you today. We're going to dive right in because today we're talking all about what it actually means to own your gifts in your life, what those gifts actually are, and what it means, practically speaking, action speaking, to take full ownership of the gifts that you have in your body, in your soul, in your heart, in your mind, and how you have to shift your identity to start experiencing the experience of getting paid to exists, exist. And really what that means is getting paid to be yourself, potential actualized, not just getting paid to create a product, to do a job, to run a business. This is for the visionaries, the people that are like, I want to get paid to be myself, and I want to figure out what that looks like. Because that dream and that vision is essentially you m going with the grain, going with the river of the natural spiritual unfolding of, uh, what your life wants to look like, what m your intuition, what your higher power, what God is guiding you to create your life to look like. And everybody gets to choose what their life looks like. And again, this is for people that are like, I feel like I have some gifts and I have a vision and I have something that wants to come through me or multiple things, and I'm being led there. I see it. I'm not avoiding it. I'm looking at it and paying attention, and I'm taking actions to create it. So let's talk about the gifts you have in your. In your heart, in your soul, and your body, in your awareness. You start to realize when you start feeling like, oh, I've got a gift, it kind of feels like, all right, I have something to say. And not a lot of people are saying it. It's not really being named. There's a perspective that I carry that feels like it's just not being totally talked about. Or it is. It's just like, I could. I could be that person. I could talk about it. I could do that. I can solve these people's problems. I can see things others can't. And that means something. I have a vision for my life, for my family, for the world, for my community, for the country. And it's not small. It's not like a little like, I want to live my best life. It's like, I have a vision and maybe Your vision is, isn't just a global vision. Maybe your vision is something that is going to require a lot from you. And maybe that vision, vision is to have a farm to live in, um, a beautiful woodland area with your family. Like, maybe that is your vision, but it's not small because it's going to require a lot from you. Maybe you have got something that changes people and it's not insignificant. You just start to notice, you're like, all right, I, um, I'm, I'm paying attention, I've got something. And the truth is you can be the best healer in the country, but not take responsibility for being good at business. So you don't get to actualize that potential, which is totally fine. Right? It's, it can be a decision, it can be a choice, but that's, that's a reality. You could be deeply intuitive and have life changing insight, but your choices around your nutrition could be lowering your frequency and your channel could be kind of mucky and you could be not doing your shadow work and it could just not be working out the way that you want it to. Not because you're not deeply intuitive and have a gift, but because you're not doing the work required to actualize that gift. You could be top tier at uh, strategy and marketing and spend all of your time on how to acquire new leads and get really good at that. But on your side of things, you could be self sabotaging your money stewardship and not really have anything to show for it. Your gifts reveal themselves as the seed of who you could be when you take ownership of how powerful you really are. I'm going to say that one again. Your gifts reveal themselves as a seed of, of who you could be when you take ownership of how powerful you really are. It's that feeling that, yes, I could make multi millions that's possible for me. I could write multiple books and speak on stages. I could do something more meaningful because I've got something. I've got something. And thus a vision is born. So what happens next? What happens next is usually that the doubt comes in the question of, am I really the one to do this though? Does it really have to be me? Uh, does it really have to be me? Is the biggest fucking question. I cannot tell you how many times I've asked myself this question. So you could totally notice your gift and live your life, your entire life, and never get out of that question. Am I really the one to do this? You can actually just tell yourself, no. You can be like, nope, not for Me, Um, that might not always happen, depending on how much God wants to, like, make sure you. You get there. Depends, right? But ownership first requires an active recognition. Uh, a decision can often come later, but first an active recognition that, yes, you are. It has to be that, right? Because that moment where you recognize it is essentially a moment of surrender, right? So I surrender to this gift and I choose it, or I at least see it. I'm not avoiding it. Maybe I have been avoiding it, but I see it. And once you decide you're choosing it, and we might not always know what we're agreeing to or opting into, right? We're like, I am choosing this fully. I'm choosing to be the most authentic version of myself. I'm choosing to be the wealthiest version of myself. But we don't always prepare for the shadow work that. That comes pretty directly, pretty immediately, right? So when you decide and when you choose to recognize this gift, to actualize this gift and, and the version of your life in which that gift is fully actualized, you will not yet have the identity, the skills, or the nervous system capacity yet to. To have the result. You still have to become more. But no one who's created the life that they truly want has done anything significant, has just had it handed to them from the jump. Not even the people that are Nepo babies or that come for money. Those people have their own different challenges, nothing to do with actualizing their gifts. It's not all about money. It's. It's all about your. Your human potential. So you have to build it, you have to embody it, and ultimately you have to make the decision that no matter who you have to become, no matter what you have to let go of, at every single step, you're still going to choose your potential. You're still going to choose yourself. A really good example of this is when I decided to write my book. I remember going to this book writing workshop, and the first exercise we did was we wrote our names on a name tag. So we wrote our name, and then underneath our name we wrote author. And, uh, this is because we have to identify as an author before we write the book, or else it'll never get written. So the same point stands here. You have to decide to identify as the highest version of yourself, or the actualized version, or the vision or the gifts. You have to view yourself as a person that is either a chosen one or someone that, like, you have something on your heart, and it is a gift and a vision that you have, and you are the one to bring it forth, it's nobody else but you. Everybody else has their own thing. You have your thing. So if you were to write your name out and underneath the identity, who is that? What is that version of you? Take a moment, do that right now. It's a fun little exercise. So what happens? You start shifting your identity, you start moving towards your gift. You start taking action. You start um, taking the action steps that you think you're going get you to where you're trying to go, right? You take a certification, you learn something, you start building your business. You do all the things and everything that you do. You have to actually learn to grapple with taking complete, total and radical responsibility for changing your life to align with the vision, gifts and potential you have. And this is where the shadow identity and energetic work comes really begins. Holding responsibility is the price you pay for your potential to be actualized. It's not waiting to be saved. It's not, someone's going to hand me a handout. Someone's going to come and actualize my potential and like they see me and they're just going to pull me and pluck me from obscurity and they're going to put me on a path. Sometimes that happens. We, sometimes we have expanders, sometimes we have people that support support us. Sometimes we have experiences that are, uh, unexpected. But we can't wait for that. We have to take full responsibility first and foremost for everything that we're creating. This is when we decide to become the creator, not the consumer of our lives. So we're not waiting to be saved. And we're also not going so hyper independent, do it all myself ego. We are going surrendered and open and saying, for the highest good of all, support me in my process as I take radical responsibility for every part of myself that I have to evolve to actualize this potential, to see this gift. This is just methodical, daily radical responsibility for every part of your life and consciousness that does not align with who you have to be to fulfill this vision. Super fun, right? We love radical responsibility. It's so fun. Oh my God, it's like nothing but the most fun ever. I love taking responsibility for everything and like, so do you. Our egos hate this, right? Like our, our younger parts, our inner teenager, our human. Or like, I can't even tell you. I have so many examples of what my human has said. One of them that I can think of right now is like, are you serious? Like it would be so nice to just be less self aware and be less conscious and like there's so many times where I have, I know that I have the potential to act really, really well in a situation. I'm like, I just want to be the worst person right now. And maybe I could be that. And then I'm like, no, I could, but like, that's not who I want to be. That's not who I am. And like, I will and have. And I actually deeply encourage acting out, playing out, finding spaces for your petty, for your shitty, for your gossip, for your like, whatever parts to play themselves out because those parts are going to go kicking and screaming on the way out. And if we suppress those parts, it doesn't work either. We can't just kick every single part of us that doesn't align to the curb tomorrow. We have to work with them, we have to integrate them and we have to go take each, each of them, let's just use the inner teenager, for example. And we have to mature, mature them. We have to mature our parts. We have to bring our parts into integration, into the light, into maturity. And some parts that need, uh, to stay the age they are. Like, maybe our inner child is just. You're going to stay your inner child. I'm never going to lose my childlike wonder, but we're going to take it from like acting like the unmet needs of the child that I once was. And we're going to meet our needs in different ways and then we're going to keep and maintain the gift of that part which is the child, like awe, ah, and wonder. Right. So this question of, wait, do I have to be responsible for all of it? Isn't it somebody else's responsibility? For sure, like some things are mutual, shared responsibilities, but your own life, you got one of them, you know, like it's yours and you know this, but I'm just telling your ego. So what do we have the responsibility to do? We first and foremost have the responsibility to learn business, money, marketing, business skills in general. And the reason we have a responsibility to learn business skills is because if we don't learn the business skills, we will just chalk it up to I just don't have have it. And that is such a lie. You just don't have good marketing skills or like you're just not that good at sales calls yet. Or like you just don't have the right, um, offer structure and delivery to allow you to scale. Like you just don't have the business skills or structure or team or support. Like you have the responsibility to learn the business skills and to become, um, skilled at the skill of business. Not just your own, not just your own craft, but also the skill of business. So you have a huge responsibility to that, because that is exactly what's going to allow you to, um, create the proper vessel for your gifts to be transferred in terms of energetic exchange and to be able to thrive. And I'm going to talk about that in a second. We also have the responsibility to find the right language before quitting. Instead of chalking it up to just being a bad speaker, being confused, being a bad writer, like, get that out of your head. Just become a better writer. Just become a better speaker. And the way in which we become a better writer and a better speaker is actually through not only practice, but it's through integration of our story and understanding and mastering our gifts. So when you master your gift, a part of it is learning it for yourself, and then the next level of it is, um, coaching or guidance or supporting somebody through it. And another layer of it is being able to market it and, um, have it reach the masses effectively. Think about the people that have built personal brands that have reached the masses really effectively. They have found the right language, the right marketing, the right positioning, the right presence for them to be able to reach the right people again. Uh, I'll go back to the book because I thought it was such a beautiful example of this, but when I wrote the book, I remembered I have to not only become the writer I need to become for this book to, like, for me to respect the material that I'm bringing forth, but I also am responsible for this book getting into the hands of the right people. And therefore I have to do, um, a podcast tour. Not because I have to, but because I want to respect the source material. Like, I'm going to respect this creation that I'm taking full responsibility for. Like, I'm going to invest in the right team to make sure I can take full responsibility for this thing that I am, um, the vessel for it to come through. You are also responsible for fact checking, education, becoming masterful in your craft so you don't up when the stakes are higher. This is where we start to feel imposter syndrome, or we start to, um, doubt our gifts. And it's not that we should doubt our gifts, it's that we should doubt our skill set and our mastery at that skill set. And it's okay, right? Like, everybody has to go through the process of mastery. So just the devotion or the responsibility piece is just, I'm going to continue getting better and better and better at this every Single year. Like personally for myself, I have at least three or four. If not, like, like I have so many certifications and um, like studenthood training, mentorship experiences that I want to invest in because I know I'm going to need them for what I have in my vision. And I'm so excited for that. And I'm going to continue being a student all the time. Like, it's just, it's just, it just has to be that way, right? Because I'm committed to the vision, so it just has to be that way. At the end of the day, you are also responsible to take responsibility and accountability when you do fuck up or could have done better. This is a leadership piece, right? So this whole podcast is really about leadership. It's really about self leadership and how you're leading yourself into creating and actualizing your potential in life and in your business and your brand financially. So when you become a leader and when you start to take more and more ownership and responsibility, you start to become responsible for yourself, number one. And then for your friendships or relationships or client relationships, number two, you are responsible for how not how people experience or perceive you necessarily, but how clearly you articulate the transformation, how clearly you deliver the transformation and you fulfill. On what you said, all of that, all of that stuff in terms of fulfillment and integrity with how you lead is very, very important. So this is just responsibility for that. You are also responsible for healing your shit instead of continuing to co sign your own chaos. This is a big one. Especially, especially before I say what I was going to say, especially about, for some of us, for some people in the world, it is not required for them to actualize their potential in their career. It's not required. Healing isn't required necessarily. Right. Like you can be a fully actualized career person without ever healing any of your stuff. I don't know if that's totally true, actually. I think that at the end of the day you're going to create, um, an energetic system that has many, many power leaks and open loops and it's just not going to work long term or be sustainable. And that's my full belief, um, going to spend the rest of my life stress testing that. But that seems to be my belief. And for those of us that are coaches, guides in the healing world, in the world of selling wisdom or strategy, it is actually your job to heal your shit instead of continuing to co sign and validate or fight, um, for your limitations, fight for your smallness, fight for your patterns. Like it's up to you to See your patterns and transform them. Right? This is why we need support in all of this responsibility stuff. It's also your responsibility. This is a huge one that I had to really, really, really be with. It's your responsibility to take care of your homes, your vessels, your containers. So what are these homes, vessels and containers? Your, your body first and foremost is the vessel for your soul. So it's so very important to take care of your body with the proper nourishment, to take care of your body with the proper movement and understand how your body functions and how you can create a home in your body that functions effectively so you can show up. I always think about, I remember when I was deep in my, like energetic, I was tired all the time, really, like not showing up and taking full responsibility for my health. I just kind of coasted on like, you know, this is easy in my 20s. And then when I got to my 30s, I was like, actually I am exhausted and I can't do anything and I can't actualize my potential. I remember being like, wow, this is the number one thing in my way right now and I just have to take responsibility for this and this is what the year is going to be and I just need to get my whole body in check. And I hired my health coach in which I will put his information below. And we did um, a three week cleanse and um, for like lowering inflammation. And then we did six or seven months of work together and I lost 17 pounds, which I didn't even know I had to lose and got in the best shape of my life. And I completely transformed my energy from never having really any and feeling like I could barely do a 35 minute workout without getting exhausted, to. I'm not going to say I'm the strongest and most highest stamina athlete ever. My job does not require that of me, but my job does require me to have a healthy body, to have a functioning body, to um, be vital and alive. Like, what I noticed for myself is that my work requires me to not be foggy, to not have brain fog. To not have like brain fog is the death of my career. Like any kind of brain fog or like physical issue. Just I'm done, you know, Like, I'm not, I'm not done, but like, I will get sick pretty quickly because of my energetic system. So your body is a vessel for your soul. Your mind is the translator of your soul. I always say this, but your mind is so important and your mind is essentially your belief systems, your education and how you tell a Certain story about things that you're experiencing in your body. And if you don't have the proper language for your messaging for how you feel you, you will mistranslate your inner world. So I think having language precision and education around your body and around the systems is so important. Which is why I'm so excited for those of you that are going to be taking my Truth Stream Messaging Lab masterclass, which I'll put the link, um, it's going to be involved in my Visionary summer series which is a bundle. You can also get this in the path. I may or may not have it for purchase as a separate class, but this class is really going to be Translation of Truth and the different levels of consciousness plus buyer psychology and sales psychology and marketing messaging blended together. So you can actually understand how to communicate to your client at the level of the soul, but at the level of practicality and groundedness of the physical reality. So that sounds exciting to you. Go find that link. I am very excited for it. Your home, like your physical home, is the vessel for your body. So obviously like taking care of your home where you live, your environment, um, your environment and friends. So that is not necessarily a home, but like you have a home with your community. But ultimately your people and your environment are a mirror for your reality and they affect your reality so heavily because they're sending you their opinions and you know, you're absorbing or reflecting their energy in a lot of ways. And then your business is the vessel for your gifts and for your purpose. So it's so important to take care of and take responsibility for all of these vessels because you cannot uphold a system, an energetic system of high leverage and exchanges of value. So this is like hundreds of people signing up for your work, clients paying higher rates like $50,000 months, $100,000 a month, $200,000 months. You cannot uphold systems of higher leverage and exchanges of value if you cannot uphold basic systems of self care. It is absolutely true that you, as I said before, you can create that amount of money. But if you do not have the proper systems in your mind, in your body, in your soul, in your translation, in your obviously your business systems and your operations, all of it creates a system that is structurally sound or structurally structurally weak. So just check in with yourself. Is my system like out of one out of a hundred? Where are we at in terms of structural soundness? I would say for me, what I've been building, which is why I have not scaled my business super hard and fast after tearing down the seven figure Blah, blah, blah. Um, I haven't scaled super hard and fast because I've been working on everything that I need to have a structurally sound foundation and to develop these systems of higher leverage. And I've been building, you know, from scratch again. So it takes time. But, um, it's, it's so, so important to recognize the level and low layers of responsibility. And it just takes time. It's not going to be one of those, like, if you're listening to this right now and you're like, oh my God, I have so much to take responsibility for. It's all good. Like, the way that I teach this with my clients in the path is every time we do a 90 day quarterly business planning, we zone in on your highest leverage pattern to transform and identity upgrade, to prioritize alongside your highest leverage, um, business planning and structural planning. So you take it month by month, week by week, and quarter by quarter because that vision is going to take you time to get to. And your ability to dissect, analyze and decide what you need to focus on right now is going to be so important. So that's how I usually do it with clients. Um, if you are curious about the 90 day quarterly business planning and manifestation workshop that is also included in the Visionary summer series that I am, um, hosting. So you can go ahead and check that out if the link is there, and otherwise I do have it sold separately as well. Or you can just join the path and get access to all this stuff. So let's talk a little bit about your mastery and what you need for your, your gifts to like, actually turn into mastery. I like to think about this as what level of performance and frequency do you need to be at to perform at your role? So for example, if your gift is to channel intuitive wisdom or provide energy, uh, healing, your job is channel. Cleaning up your channel, understanding your channel, mastering your channel, commanding the channel, knowing exactly what you need to tap into the channel, having a practice like, it's kind of like Ken, like, my job is beach. Your job is channel right. It is receptivity, it's energetics, it is having your own system operating effectively so you can provide and tap into those frequencies. If you're a strategist, your job is brain education and results. So you're going to be spending a lot of your time developing your strategies, developing the results that you get with the strategies, developing your education, going to conferences, being at the, um, having a pulse on the trends. Like if your job is strategist, your job is brain. And if your job is brain. Again, a lot of these things, a lot of these things that we are taking responsibility for require a high level of uh, brain capacity or physical body or energetic body or emotional body capacity. So just feel into like where is my capacity needing to expand so I can step into a deeper role and step into these gifts and own them even more. If you're an influencer or a, a, a comedian, I don't know why I couldn't say comedian for a second. If you're an influencer or a comedian or an artist, your job is entertainment, attention and visibility and you're going to hit all of the shadows of that. So you're going to be one of those people that is hyper visible and hyper talked about. So your job is going to. Every single job that we have is going to have a shadow, massive, massive, many layers of shadow or difficulty or price that we have to pay and take responsibility for if we're choosing to go all in. So if your path of alignment is asking you to be seen, you're gonna have to release so much shame. So much shame. It's gonna be hard. But guess what? You're gonna be so unashamed, you're gonna be so free, so liberated. If your path is asking you to command attention and ignite people to take massive action, guess what? You're gonna have to let go of literally every single self limiting belief you have and build so much inner command of your own energy. It's gonna be hard because you're gonna want to like not believe in yourself so many times. But the more you do that, you're just gonna be someone that believes in themselves so much and you can ignite rooms of thousands of people and that's fucking incredible. But you're going to have to pay a price to get there. It's just your ego. So the identity shift here is realizing or releasing the idea that you will have a normal path, you will have an easy path, that you will have a path that's like just going to require a little bit of you or like uh, uh, the idea that like oh, I've already done so much work, I should just have all the gifts now that might not be your path, I'm sorry to tell you. And it's okay. So I'm going to have you ask a couple of questions for yourself. Number one, what do I need to do to show up and perform as the best at ah, my soul gift game. Your soul gift game is what are your gifts, what are you mastering and what do you need to show up and perform at your best. Some other questions to include could be, what does my life need to look like? And what do I need to let go of? So, uh, as I mentioned, the battle your ego will go through will be pretty intense, and I know it has been for me. So I just want to quickly share a couple of the stories that I had to let go of, a couple of the patterns and the habits that I had to really let go of. And ultimately at the time, they felt like a sacrifice. They felt like I'm giving up a part of myself, which ultimately I would just giving up a limiting, um, experience of life. But I was giving up something that felt like, oh, I really, I really don't want to give this up. And some of them were pretty hard. So I just want to share how I guided myself through that. So one of them was, do I really have to be seen as like, super spiritual or like a spirit in the spiritual industry? So many spiritual people are delusional and annoying and like this and that. And like, there's been a part of me that has absolutely, like, judged spiritual people because. And judged myself. But ultimately this was a lack of ownership because I, I am that. Like, I am in the spiritual community. I do, um, I, I live not just and only in spiritual work. I also live in structural, energetic work, somatic work, um, inner psyche and inner, like ultimately structural, energetic and then strategic as well. So I live in a lot, a couple of different worlds, I would say primarily my world. And my like, mastery is deeply in the energetics, the self concept, the, um, transformational space. And the spiritual space adds to that, and the strategic space adds to that. And I'm still in the spiritual space. It is, you know, like, everything is spiritual. So that is something that I've had to work through and overcome and like, really claim more ownership of the spiritual side of my gifts and the, uh, understanding the world and taking it seriously. Another one that was so hard, I can't even, can't even explain. Do I really have to be such a highly sensitive, intuitive person? It makes it hard to live a normal life, going out, having fun, doing drugs, drinking and scrolling and watching TV and eating shit food. And it makes it really fucking hard to do any of those things without being completely exhausted and not being able to do anything. That one was tough. That one was tough because there were so many years of my life where, especially when I first moved to Austin, I drank and like, I was rebellious between the ages of like 16 and 19. And then I immediately got into bodybuilding. So I was pretty like, I didn't really go out, go to festivals, have fun. I didn't have like tons of that kind of fun. I had lots of like, I built my business. I had lots of career fun. I had lots of awesome connections with people. But that was all before the age of 27. So between 20 and 27, I was pretty like career driven, ambitious, um, type. And I didn't really spend a lot of time on like Deep Play. So when I moved to Austin, Deep Play was my priority. People spending time. I spent so much time around a lot of people. I would go out every single weekend and do costumes and like, everybody was so prioritizing of fun. And as I continued to, whether it was like go do some MDMA or some ketamine or I would do psychedelic ceremonies, not a lot of them. I didn't go into psychosis or anything. And I slowed down and really deprioritized psychedelics after a certain period because I was like, I don't actually need these. But I attached fun to substances and I also attached rest to scrolling or tv. And I was uh, my ego was so committed to some of these patterns. They were just ways of coping or ways of being that, uh, that were like lazy or that were, you know, again, there was fun attached to them. But I had to really untangle the web of my belief system around these because the truth of my energetics was such that I could do a very small amount m of any substance and just be completely wiped and have my energy be really exposed to a lot of people and not being able to show up potently to my work week and show up really, really deeply energized in the way that I knew I needed to be for my work week was just. The return was not. The return on investment was no longer working. So I really had to battle with that. I also had to battle with being intuitive and not always liking the messages I get and rejecting that. Just struggling to let go of the old life to embody the new one. I really think that maturity and maturing in general and, and claiming responsibility is not an easy thing to do. It's not just like, oh yeah, just do it. Like, you will probably have to have some of your own battles with some of your own energetics or some of your own experiences where you're in conflict with the true you. And when you're in conflict, some of your habits or behaviors are in conflict with the truest version of you existing freely and powerfully. That's an unsustainable system. So the flip and the identity shift I did to get out of and let go of a lot of these pieces, we're just number one. I'm so grateful to have these gifts that I have. I love who I'm becoming. I am as much as it's been hard to take ownership of them now that I've gotten past the part of me that struggled to take full ownership and I'm in like daily, weekly, monthly, yearly ownership and continued ownership. I really love who I've become and I love who I'm becoming. And I'm so grateful to have done the work and continue to do it. I feel really grateful. It also feels so peaceful to be living in alignment with my vision. Finally. I posted on my stories the other day that the version of my brand that I have now, even this podcast, in this moment, I've dreamed of this. I've dreamed of it feeling and looking this way, and I'm not even done. Like, I'm not even. I'm just getting started, but it feels like me and it feels so in alignment with my vision and I'm actually more energized than I've ever been in my entire life. And even still I feel like I'm just getting started. When I'm less available to everyone, which, ah, at a certain point I had like a huge friend group and just so many people in my life and so many people I was available for, I was less available for my clients, less available for work, less available for growth. So when I'm less available to everyone and I have stronger boundaries and I'm able to be really discerning about how I choose to spend my time and my energy, I'm more available to the right people. So when I take responsibility for my yes, I also take responsibility for my no, that's the right pocket. I also love being mindful of my consumption. Consumption's still one of those that I'm working with. But the equilibrium and peace in my mind and my body is so much better than the internal turmoil or chaos or stress or the way that your body sends you all of those signals when it's just not feeling good. The equilibrium and the piece is, is so much better and it's so worth any work you have to do, any health investment, you have to make any investment into your, um, your mind, any investment into becoming a creator instead of just a consumer and creator of the right things and consuming the right things is really worth it. So for me personally, I feel like every six months I'm like, okay, there's a new consumption habit that I gotta change and I, I start working on it and I change it and what else? It's actually amazing to set up my life to work for me. And for example, again, whatever gift you have for me, spending half of my day creating energetic alignment. And it's not to say that I don't have a life in which it is energetically aligned, but like, actually for a little while, I was feeling like, oh, I have to, I have to do this and I have to do this and like, why do I have to do so many things? Just the truth is I do have to do a lot of things to maintain a level of potency. I can do nothing and show up and give my 7 out of 10 and that's fucking great. I could do that. But what would it look like for me to show up and give my 10 and how much more can I normalize that identity and that feeling in my body? So it's not that I have to do things less, it's just that it's more stabilized. Like, I've expanded and stretched and it's stabilized at that level. Other good things. I'm so smart. I can solve big problems and help so many people without it feeling hard. That is from my dedication to education, my dedication to learning. And it feels good. It feels great. Abundance will start flowing faster, easier, lighter, and ultimately, at the end of the day, you're not in conflict with yourself anymore. So instead of outsourcing your power to everything and everybody else, if you are the problem, you are also the solution. And when you're in your full power and owning your gifts and making money from them and a lot of it, it's going to feel great and your life will look different in the absolute best way.
