GRIFFIN BRAND served on active duty in the U.S. Army from 2015 to 2023. His experience ranged from maneuvering tanks on the dusty trails of Fort Benning, GA, to advising senior leaders at the U.S. Embassy in Kabul, Afghanistan during his final deployment. Much of his service was spent in airborne and special operations units, with several years stationed in Europe working alongside NATO partners. He concluded his Army career by teaching and mentoring future officers as an Assistant Professor of Military Science with the Georgia Tech ROTC program.
