Vincent Genna explores the fundamental disconnect between conscious spiritual effort and unconscious limiting beliefs that keep high-performing professionals trapped in survival mode. Drawing on his 40 years as a clinical social worker, psychic therapist, and spiritual teacher, Genna explains that while people read extensively, attend workshops, and practice affirmations, they often skip the critical application work - the exercises and daily practice that actually surface and reprogram deep childhood conditioning. The core issue: early negative messages create "I'm not enough" beliefs that become the true blueprint for manifestation, regardless of positive affirmations layered on top. Genna uses the iceberg metaphor and the whiteboard analogy to illustrate how 95% of unconscious beliefs drive outcomes while conscious effort represents only 5% of mental activity. For B2B professionals - particularly in sales, leadership, and team dynamics - this explains why clients intuit inauthenticity and why networking efforts underperform: the subconscious vibration contradicts the surface message. Genna's framework includes reframing survival mechanisms (coping) versus thriving, understanding left-brain (rational) and right-brain (emotional/intuitive) integration, and recognizing that even completed inner work leaves scars that require ongoing daily practice and reparenting of the inner child.
Because they're not doing the application work - the specific exercises that surface unconscious limiting beliefs formed in childhood. Affirmations are like pretty pictures pasted over an unchanged whiteboard of negative self-beliefs; they don't change what's underneath. Only unconscious beliefs (95% of the mind) actually drive manifestation, not surface conscious statements.
They are the "I'm not good enough, smart enough, lovable enough, worthy enough" beliefs ingrained from childhood negative messages. They show up as subconscious vibration that contradicts conscious effort - causing job review anxiety, hesitation to ask for referrals, relationship conflict, and inability to manifest desired outcomes even while appearing spiritually advanced.
The brain creates coping mechanisms (survival mode) to protect us, but these mechanisms trap us in a limited emotional range and create a wall between the rational left brain and emotional/intuitive right brain, blocking the passion and full emotional range needed to shift into thriving mode.
It's when the light switch turns on - a sudden internal feeling of "I got it" that comes after sustained daily practice retraining the inner voice and reparenting the inner child. It feels like a major breakthrough where every part of you automatically switches from trying to knowing, and you start receiving crystal clear messages from the universe.
The client or prospect intuits your subconscious vibration (95% of your mind) which contains doubt, unworthiness, or fear, and that energy is what they respond to - not your conscious affirmations or confident presentation. This creates a mismatch between surface behavior and authentic energy.
Our reviewer’s read on each dimension, with quotes from the episode.
The episode is wall-to-wall self-help platitudes - survival mode, limiting beliefs, clearing the channel - with no novel claims a smart operator hadn't already encountered. Extended personal anecdotes and mutual praise crowd out any substantive content, and the ratio of filler to idea is extremely high.
You just gotta make them laugh to get that sugar and to, uh, get that work down. Right. A little teaspoon of sugar makes the. The medicine go down.
I, um, love that visual. I'm a visual person, and it's true. If there's all debris in my way, how can I walk clearly on a path?
Every major concept - the iceberg metaphor for conscious vs. unconscious mind, 'I'm not enough' core beliefs, affirmations as pretty pictures over an unchanged whiteboard - is standard recycled self-help and New Age orthodoxy. Einstein, Steve Jobs, and Wilbur Wright are invoked in the most predictable, clichéd ways possible.
everybody is stuck in survival mode then, because their brain is helping them cope, but they have to get out of coping to get into thriving.
Those early onset beliefs that were ingrained in us from our childhood, from our growing up, from the negative messages we heard from the environment. I call them the I'm not beliefs.
The guest is a self-described psychic therapist and medium who sells books and online spirituality courses - a career thought-leader with zero demonstrated practitioner experience in any B2B or even rigorous clinical context. There is no evidence of operating anything at scale beyond a personal brand.

I'm actually teaching a course starting in August, um, about not just tapping in and learning to trust your intuition, but actually connecting to your higher soul
The episode relies entirely on unverifiable personal anecdotes (daughter's hair, son's math, a 9/11 survivor story) and predictable famous-person name-drops. No studies are cited with any detail, no metrics are given, and the one quantitative claim is vague.
We wouldn't be over 11,000 years old as a species if we didn't have an intuition to guide us.
I've sold thousands of copies already. And when I do readings, everybody tells me, oh, I got your book. I read it five times.
The host occasionally lands a decent question ('Is there a moment when someone shifts from constantly seeking to transformation?') but never challenges a single metaphysical claim, repeatedly injects lengthy personal anecdotes that eat into the guest's time, and closes with performative mutual praise. The dynamic is a pure softball PR chat.
Oh, boy. Wow. You, you ask great questions. I love you.
I love it. I just love it. So here's the deal, guys.

In today's episode, you'll discover: Why do many people spend years doing all the inner work, yet still feel stuck, and why isn't "doing the work" always enough, and what's missing for most people? That you may have hidden survival patterns that may be keeping you from moving forward, and how these patterns show up in everyday life? One of the biggest challenges people face is knowing what voice to trust and how to tell the difference between fear, intuition, and genuine higher guidance. To support these three takeaways, I chose a quote from Albert Einstein: "The intuitive mind is a sacred gift, and the rational mind is a faithful servant. We have created a society that honors the servant and has forgotten the gift." About Vincent Genna: Vincent Genna is an internationally recognized Psychic Therapist, Medium, Master Spiritual Teacher, and bestselling author with over 40 years of professional experience. Trained as a clinical social worker, Vincent uniquely bridges psychology, neuroscience, metaphysics, and spiritual science, offering a grounded and intelligent approach to intuition, healing, and human potential.

Speaker A: Welcome to Enlightenment of Change, the podcast helping thought leaders and professionals ditch those outdated dog eat dog mindsets and learn to build real relationships, to become a trusted partner, build and become part of high performing teams and create a life worth living both personally and professionally. I, your host, Connie Whitman. Thanks for joining us this week. So today's episodes you're going to discover, number one, the first thing would be why do many people spend years doing all this inner work yet still feel stuck? And why isn't doing the work always enough? And what's missing for most people. Second thing, that you may have these hidden survival patterns that may be keeping you from moving forward and how these patterns might be showing up in your everyday life. And three, one of the biggest challenges that people face is knowing what voice to trust and how to tell the difference between fear, intuition and genuine higher guidance. So today I chose a quote to set the stage for my guests and my conversation. And I chose a quote by Albert Einstein. And Albert Einstein says, the intuitive mind is a sacred gift. The rational mind is a faithful servant. We have created a society that honors the servant and has forgotten the gift. So who is my amazing guest that we're going to talk about this very cool topic? His name is Vincent Jenna. Wait till you meet him. He's hysterical. Where he explores consciousness, healing and humanity, um, evolving awareness. And I think he does it with a good sense of humor. So, Vincent, thank you so much for coming on the show.
Speaker B: Oh my gosh, Connie, thank you for inviting me. And boy, what an introduction. I mean that. What a high bar to set. I hope I can reach it. Now, I don't want to disappoint myself or your listeners or what viewers. My goodness.
Speaker A: Did you like my quote? I saw you react. Albert Einstein.
Speaker B: Oh my God. Uh, well, first of all, Albert Einstein is my buddy. I quote him all the time because I don't want to say that we're like minded, but but definitely the way he approached his life, his work, was always through inspiration. Ye. Which is why he was so unlike in his field. And because in Germany, they were, you know, developing physics and all the principles of physics. And he was not a physicist, he was a mathematician and a very spiritual being. And everything came to him through inspiration. And they hated that because they didn't think that was science. But he came up with some of the most amazing theories and understanding of life. And so, yes, I absolutely love him and love that quote.
Speaker A: Yeah, I, he. I go. I use his quotes quite frequently because he had a pulse, man. He had a pulse on. I think that the. The notion of this divine download that I think back then was like, he's a kook, you know, and his hair and everything.
Speaker B: Are you kidding? I'm still being a kook today. Called the kook. And we're in 2026, so you can imagine what they thought of him back then.
Speaker A: And we're more open into today's society, the whole realm of spirituality.
Speaker B: Yeah.
Speaker A: Uh, all right, so let's. Let' again, many people. In my intro, I shared, right. Many people spend years reading books, attending workshops, and doing all the center work, and it ends up not working. What's missing for most people that you found again through this four decades of doing this?
Speaker B: Oh, my goodness. Well, when you say doing this, this is the interesting part, Connie. They've done a lot of reading and gathering and viewing and attending, and they're walking bookstores and encyclopedias and Libra, and they have all that information up here. But what they've not done is application. They have not done the work. Even in my book, I will get my, uh, oh, my God, I've sold thousands of copies already. And when I do readings, everybody tells me, oh, I got your book. I read it five times. The first thing I ask them is, did you do the exercises in the book? Well, no, I didn't do all of them, but I read it and I'm like, why do you think just reading is enough? It's not enough. And so what's happening, Connie, is because people aren't doing the work. They're not getting down to the nitty gritty as to what is getting in their way. And if they did that and did the work, they'd be able to bring it to the surface. And all my work that I do and that I talk about is about that. That hidden stuff. And you know what? It's the brain that has done that. The brain actually is an anomaly that allows us to cope in life. But those coping mechanisms have actually betrayed us spiritually. And so coping is another word for surviving. And so everybody is stuck in survival mode then, because their brain is helping them cope, but they have to get out of coping to get into thriving.
Speaker A: Yeah, agree. So let's, let's dig a little bit deeper, right? You talk about this hidden survival patterns that keep everybody, they're highly conscious, spiritually awakened, they're moving forward. Right, but what are these patterns and how do they actually show up in everyday life for people listening?
Speaker B: Okay, so, so the end, uh, this, you know, surviving can look very pretty and it can look really good because like we said, people are reading this stuff. Okay, so they're doing some meditation, maybe they're attending a spiritual center. Right? They, they, like I said, they know this knowledge. They're going out into the world, presenting themselves maybe a little bit more positively. They're being kind to their neighbors and everything else, but it is still hiding their inner, most unconscious beliefs and fears about themselves. That's the problem. Those early onset beliefs that were ingrained in us from our childhood, from our growing up, from the negative messages we heard from the environment. I call them the I'm not beliefs. I'm not good enough, I'm not smart enough, I'm not lovable enough, I'm not deserving enough, I'm not worthy enough. Whatever the I'm not enough is, it's there inside because of all the negative messages we've received. And everybody has to be able to admit we wind up receiving more negative messages than we do positive messages. And that's one of the reasons why we always will hold on to a negative. You know, a lot of spiritual teachers and psychotherapists and psychologists and, you know, I've been one myself, M in my career, um, they'll tell you, well, you know what, you'll say five positive things to somebody and one negative thing, and they're going to hold on to that negative thing and ignore the five positive things. Well, you know what? They only maybe heard those five positive things just either recently. But there's not been an overwhelming amount of those positive things. The messages are always negative, even when you're at work. Okay, it's review time. Oh, uh, it's review time. And as soon as you hear that word, do you really go, oh, I can't wait for my review. I know my boss is going to love every single thing I did. Come on, I'm looking forward to it. Let's go. No, right away, the stress comes on. Oh, uh, My gosh, why? Because you know what they're going to be doing. They may sugarcoat it to start with. Oh yes, you've had some really great production. But we did want to talk about this issue, this issue and this issue. So right away they're pointing out that negative stuff in relationships, right? Husband, wife, partners, it doesn't matter who it is. They're in this loving relationship. What happens all the time. You know, I just want to discuss with you how you made me feel. I didn't feel good when you said that to me. And it's constantly hatching all of the things we're doing wrong. And so that little you, which we're an accumulation of our entire lifetime, Connie, all those messages we receive keep getting compounded after compounded. So now we hear, let's get positive affirmations. Let's start saying some positive things. So we say all these positive things. We paint pretty pictures over, you know, all of those negative beliefs we had. And we think that's enough. And so that's the reason why all of a sudden now somebody wants to manifest something for themselves. Something big, something wonderful, a good job, uh, maybe a partner, a good partner, loving partner, uh, better finances, better health. And they're not doing it, they're not accomplishing it. And that's because, Connie, people don't believe what they think they believe. It is not your surface beliefs that manifest, it's your unconscious beliefs. No matter how part time successful you may be or how it looks like you are thriving, you are not. You're still surviving off of those negative beliefs about yourself and you're getting through. But we are in a new consciousness now. And this new consciousness says that we should be able to create a better life and thrive more in life and be unlimited beings and manifest more in life. But that's where we keep getting stuck because of those hidden things. Even though it can present itself positively at, ah, some times, but not when you want it the most.
Speaker A: Yeah, it's interesting. I was just teaching a class. I teach sales and uh, with banks. Most, most of my clients are banks across the country. And I was teaching how to ask for referrals and write all the HIDD psychology behind sales. And you know what holds us back from asking these clients that are advocates for us, why aren't we asking for referrals? Anyway? As we were going through, I shared the iceberg and I said, here's what's happening. The tippy top of the iceberg, that 5%, that's your conscious mind that you think you're being positive and you're going to do this and the client's going to respond this way. And I said, but here's where it's playing out. That 95% of your subconscious, underwater, that's where emotionally you're playing out. You're sending that vibration out. The client is sending it back to you. I said, there. We're all playing down here. So do you know what's happening under there? Most of us don't. We don't pause enough to understand because consciously we're doing our affirmations. I'm going to make this great sale and the clients are going to love me. All of that, I think is important. But underneath, what do we really need to do to make the client believe in us? Right? And that's where we, we have the limiting beliefs. Um, I'm not good enough. They're not going to think I'm smart enough. They're going to think I'm a fraud, whatever's playing out subconsciously. So it's just funny because I did that this week about the iceberg. And that's kind of. What am I saying?
Speaker B: Oh, I can't believe you're saying that. Let me tell this. Is that what I'm saying? I need to do an event with you because we can partner. You just spoke for me. Those are the exact words I use. A matter of fact, I use those images. I have a PowerPoint and I use the iceberg. And then I break it down even more. So, yes. And I tell people I said in 95% of your unconscious mind, you think you know yourself. No, you don't know yourself. You don't even know what's going on in the majority of your mind. And this is what I'm telling you. This is what's going on and why it matters so much, Connie. And, uh, this is where I add the metaphysical all the time and the spiritual part. We're not just body mind beings. We're not just physical beings. We are body, mind and spirit. What does that mean? Everybody automatically associates the word spirit with. Religion has nothing to do with that. It actually has to do with another science, a ah, form of science of what we are. We're quantum beings where energies, energies, spiritual beings having a physical experience. Energy beings have an energy experience. So therefore our energy creates and manifests because we're connected to a higher powerful energy. So we're connected in our unconscious minds. And so yes, those affirmations, here's the way I liken that, which is, it is so great the way you said that, okay? If you take a whiteboard and you write on that whiteboard every single negative doubt, fear or image, ah, you had of yourself. Write it all over that board. Just write it there. Feelings, fears, it doesn't matter. Write it all over that board. Okay? So now the new age movement comes along and the new thought movement comes along and everybody is teaching that you need these affirmations, okay? So now think of an affirmation as a pretty picture. Pretty picture, right? It's a pretty phrase, it's a pretty statement. And you're going to take that pretty picture and you're going to paste it on the whiteboard. You know, picture of a pretty bunny rabbit, a picture of pretty flowers, you know, whatever, money, a bunch of money, it doesn't matter. All these pretty pictures are pasted all over the whiteboard. Now you've got a whiteboard filled with all these pretty picture affirmations. Have you changed one thing underneath those pretty pictures? Not a thing. Yeah, those beliefs are still underneath there. And just because you say, oh, I am lovable, I deserve, um, good health, I deserve abundance in relationships and all of this stuff, if you don't truly believe that about yourself and you're not working with those inner core, um, unconscious beliefs, then it doesn't matter what you say consciously, because that's only, like you said, only the 5% of your mind that is working and trying to retrain the subconscious mind when the largest part, which is the unconscious part holding those negative maladaptive beliefs is doing all the training of that subconscious mind.
Speaker A: And Vincent, we are programmed. Think about when you were a kid, right? You get your first paper back, it has a smiley face or a non smiley face. And then you get a little bigger and you get a 99 and they put minus one on the top of the paper.
Speaker B: I know.
Speaker A: This is how we've been programmed since we're kids.
Speaker B: This is right. That's right. And then when you do come home with that A, and this is really interesting, you use that again as an example. Um, Dr. John Gray, who wrote, um, Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus, right? In one of his first books, he wrote about when we lose our first sense of self appreciation and self love. And that's from the first negative environmental move, um, message we received. So he has an image of little Johnny coming home with a paper that says A on it. And he's yelling to his mom standing at the door, mommy, look at how good I did. And mommy turns around and says, johnny, it's not Nice to praise yourself like that. So you. You don't sound good. Don't compliment yourself. And from that moment on, little Johnny no longer says anything positive about himself because he received the message that that's wrong. My daughter was a perfect example of that because she was such a beautiful little girl. And I know I'm a doting, you know, father, but it doesn't. It's true. Um, she had long, dark hair the moment she was born. I mean, right out of utero long care. They put barrettes in it in the nursery. So all the parents used to stand around with their children there, but staring at my daughter. Oh, my God, she's so beautiful. So from that point on, they always stop and said to her, oh, what a beautiful little girl you are. What a beautiful little girl you are. Wherever we were. So as soon as she became old enough and she was able to talk the first things out of her mouth without us teaching her at all, they would say, what a beautiful little girl you are. And she would say, I know. And it was the cutest thing. Everybody would laugh. It was funny. So when she got a little bit, uh, older and could understand more, we taught her mother and I taught her to say, well, you know how it makes you feel good when they tell you how, uh, pretty you are? Well, it makes them feel good when you say thank you. So she, from that point on, everybody would say, what a beautiful little girl you are. And she would say, I know. Thank you. And hence everybody would laugh. Until one day she was 8 years old and we happened to be walking in the mall with my mother visiting. Uh, and as it was, some young woman passed us and my daughter and turned around and came all the way back and said to my daughter, I just had to tell you, you are such a beautiful young girl. And she said, as usual, I know things. Thank you, with a big, beautiful, appreciative smile on the face. Well, my mother grabbed her, pulled her aside before we were able to intercede and said, uh, honey, that is not nice to say. Don't say I know anymore, because that doesn't make you sound good. Well, it didn't matter how much my wife and I tried to overstep that and tell her that was wrong. Grandma was. It didn't matter. From that day on, my daughter never said I know again. Uh, uh. So she never had a chance to appreciate herself until later on. Well, think of the messages everybody else has received. And so when we've done the work or think we've done the work, now I've been doing this work for 43 years. And I had a very abusive early life. And that's the reason why I wrote my second book, Stay strong. All your scars can be healed. Because we also have to remember, even though we've done the work, Connie, every injury leaves behind a scar and that scar gets inflamed. And another word for those scars are buttons. You know, when those buttons get pushed, those are the scars. And so all the work that people are doing, and I'm not going to take that away from everybody, they're doing a lot of it and I don't want that to be wasted or thought of. Oh, I get that too. Oh, my God. You're telling me I've done all this inner child work and I still have more to do like that? Well, Teddy Roosevelt said that when you think you've done everything you could, you haven't. Um, there's always a little bit more. And this is the more going in. And you have to retrain that inner voice. You have to re parent that inner child. John Bradshaw coined that, um, reparent yourself, um, in his book the Homecoming. Reclaiming and championing your inner child. You've got to change those words that you say about yourself consciously or unconsciously. And if you catch yourself. And the work that we do, there's techniques and to be able to do that. But it's daily work. It's daily work, Connie. Um, otherwise we're just bypassing all of that and we're still in survival mode. And that's what you see on the earth today is survival mode.
Speaker A: Yeah, my kids call them mp. Mp. You know, the players on the video games where they're not part of the game, they just kind of wander around?
Speaker B: Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Speaker A: I don't. It's MP something or other.
Speaker B: I can't think of it now either, can I? Because I'm.
Speaker A: You know what I'm talking about. And we'll see. Someone will go, they're mp Whatever. And I look at them go, that's not nice. But they're just walking through life like zombies. They think they're doing, but they're really not. So here's my question. Is there a moment when someone shifts from this constantly seeking answers? And again, I agree, we can't take anything away. I know I've done a lot of inner work and I know I still have more to do. Right. We're always in growth mode. But is there a point where that constantly seeking, that there's a moment where we stop the seeking and there's actually a transformation. And what does it look like if that's the case?
Speaker B: That's a great question. That really is a great question, because it's so different for each person. But. But I just finished a course in the, uh, the ship with the shift network called Beyond Survival Mode. When. When you shift into thriving mode, it is that big.
Speaker A: Aha.
Speaker B: Uh-huh. And it. And it's. It's almost like the. The light has turned on, has switched on. You keep your. Your. You're in your pattern now, and you're doing this work, right? You're doing the work that you and I are saying that you need to do this inner work, okay? And you're working at it. And it's, uh, going to be the hardest work you do, but the most beneficial work that you've done, right? Then all of a sudden, one morning, one day, there is a feeling, an internal feeling. That's all it is. It's an internal feeling that says, I've got it. It's like, uh, this is a bad analogy, but it's a true analogy. Math is that way. Learning math is that way. My son had the hardest time in the first couple of years learning math in school. Couldn't get it. Don't worry about it. Just keep doing the work. I promise you, one morning you're going to wake up and you're going to get it. And it is. It's like a light switch. Because then one morning he was in middle school, his last year in middle school, and all of a sudden he's coming home with hundreds on his math test. And I'm like, whoa, what happened, Jake? And he was like, I got it. I got it. You get it. Because every part of you just automatically switches from the trying, the trying to trying to. I got it. That's what we're trying to do as spiritual beings. And what I'm telling people, you keep the practice going, keep the intensity going. That's the other thing. My wife always told me I was very intense. I'm Vinnie, you're so intense. And I'm like, I'm not intense. I'm passionate. Besides being Italian and from New York, I'm passionate, okay? So the funny thing was from Jersey, but it's the same thing. We're right next door to each other, right? It's our bad habits rubbed off on you. Um, so I'm doing this workshop one day, and I'm talking about passion. And so I look it up in the dictionary, and it says, in the Webster's Dictionary, passion, an Intense emotion. And I went up to my wife, I said, okay, so I'm intense. Um, so I just found that so funny. But you need to intensify your feelings, your beliefs. This is. We have large hearts and emotions that range, like, you know, real wide. But what's happened because of survival mode, people are afraid to feel.
Speaker A: Yeah.
Speaker B: They've been through so much trauma that the way they actually protect themselves and a defense mechanism is they build a wall between their left brain and the right brain. They think they're building the wall between themselves and others, and they call it boundaries. Okay, boundaries. No, the boundary that they're giving is within themselves. Because the left brain is the rational, intellectual part of the brain. Right. The physical part and a thinking part. The right brain is the emotional part, which is the feeling part, the intuitive part, the creative part, the nurturing part. So if you don't want to feel, you actually back away from that side of your brain. So now you've taken your range of emotions from here, and you brought it down to here. But in order for us, uh, to be who we're meant to be, we need to open that up to here. Because it's the passion that you put into your life that makes that switch from surviving to thriving. Because it's an unbelievable feeling. Then what happens, Connie, is you start getting the evidence. You start receiving crystal clear messages from the universe that all of a sudden, you're on the right path. You're hearing things, getting signs, receiving opportunities without you even having to manifest. We have to understand something that is the most difficult thing to understand in this life. Everything that you want for yourself in this life, you've already created it in another dimension before you came down here. That's a metaphysical part of who we are. You wouldn't want it if you didn't know you already created it. Okay, for example, before there was television, nobody wanted it, Nobody knew of it. They only began to want it when they knew it was out there already. So therefore, anything you want has to already be out there. Otherwise your mind wouldn't go in that direction. The inspirations, like Albert Einstein said, tell me what God is thinking. The details, I don't need to know. And what he meant by that was, he believed in source. He believed in this force that was out there. He knew if he ever had an inspiration, that was his cue, that that's what he was supposed to go after. Otherwise it wouldn't have been there. And he also knew that once he claimed it and went after it, that the universe was going to help him and conspire to bring in the opportunities and the messages and the signs to help him go in the direction he wanted to go in. And it happened all the time for him. Wilbur Wright woke up one morning and he had this vision that there was this craft in the air and people were sitting in it. And he went and he told his brother about it. And Orville said, oh, that's crazy. That can never happen. Only birds can fly. And Wilbur said, no, you don't understand, Orville. If I got it in my brain, that means it's real and it's just for us to bring it into this lifetime. Plato even knew that back in ancient Greece. He called it forms. He said if. If in order for a human to build a chair, the form of it has to exist in another dimension, otherwise, they would have never tapped into it. So all you want to be, you've already created for yourself. You just have to learn how to believe that and then bring it into this life. But the saddest thing, Connie, is the majority of people, the I'm not part of them is I'm not good enough and I'm not deserving enough. Yeah, I'm not deserving enough. Because they blame themselves as children for all the lack that they've had, for all the negative experience that they went through, because we're egocentric beings, and they don't know how at that time to think outside of the box. So they all had that within them. So they don't think they're good enough for that success, for that happiness, for that healing.
Speaker A: And that was like Steve Jobs, right? When he said, I want to create the ipod, it was. And he said, I want a thousand songs to fit in the palm of my hand. So whatever that vision was, it was a download that he knew, and. And we didn't have the technology. We did not have it. And he said, we're going to build it. Right? That's the same. Same exact concept, right?
Speaker B: It is the exact same concept. Why would he come up with that concept out of the clear blue? What? Oh, wait, wait, wait. I know why, Connie. I know why it's called. It's called imagination. Humans have incredible imagination. What is imagination? Imagination is the link from our physical world to that dimension that's not physical yet. That's what imagination is. Whatever you can imagine, you can create. We hear that psychologically.
Speaker A: Yes.
Speaker B: Well, spiritually, it's absolutely true. Of course you can create it because it's already there. It's already been created.
Speaker A: So here's my question. And beautiful, beautiful. I love that because I do believe in multi dimension. I believe that it's already created all the things you said. Now, why is the Albert Einstein, the Steve Jobs, the Walt Disney, you. Right, why? What is the voice that you listen to that helps you find that connection to get these downloads? Right, right. Like, I know people say listen to your intuition. Um, you know, is there higher guidance? Um, you know, fear is playing out. Is it fear talking? Like, how do we know what voice to listen to?
Speaker B: Oh, boy. Wow. You, you ask great questions. I love you.
Speaker A: Thank you, sir.
Speaker B: Let me tell you that I'm going to take you with me everywhere. Um, that's, that is the biggest question that people ask me because the lack of trust that they have in their voice. Connie, the bottom line is first you have to believe that that's possible. You have to believe that we are connected to something higher, that we can receive guidance and that there is intuition. And science has absolutely proven that there's intuition. We wouldn't be over 11,000 years old as a species if we didn't have an intuition to guide us. How did they know back then? They would have all been dead before they got to here if they didn't go by intuition and things telling them, oh, don't eat that, E. Oh, no, you know, take baby, put on breasts, you know, feet, you know, all of that stuff, right? That there was an intuition that let them realize it wasn't just watching the animals that made them realize that even then they didn't have that kind of intelligence, it was intuition. Right? So we have to believe that there is this intuition. And then we have to believe that every human and is is connected and part and has that intuition. Just like your thinking brain, there's the intuitive part, your brain. So science has shown that, you know, whether it be, you know, studies with mothers and their children or it doesn't make a difference to studies, plenty studies have shown that. So that's the first part is believing in that. The second part is knowing that you can develop that. You have to believe that too. You're capable of developing that. But the other part, and this is the part that I teach the most, that a lot of other teachers that want to teach psychic abilities and tuning into your intuition, they don't teach you that you have to clear the channel in order to be in tuned with it, that you have to. And what is clearing the channel is getting rid of all of those nonsense beliefs that you've got packed away because your intuition is like a channel. I liken it to a channel or hallway. It doesn't make a difference what you want to. You think of it as an umbilical, um, cord, um, but it is connected to your soul's mind. Your conscious mind is connected to your soul's mind in that connection, that hallway. Okay. That channel. Well, every time you're positive and feeling positive and feeling loving and going through life in a very positive way, right? Handling life, that channel is open. Anytime something negative, a, ah, negative, doubt, fear comes along, that channel closes. So right away, if you're in fearful mode or you're in doubt, doubtful mode or worry mode, don't even try to tap into your intuition because that's the fearful voice that you will hear.
Speaker A: Yeah.
Speaker B: And I teach people that nothing from your soul's mind, nothing from a higher source is going to speak negative to you at all. It'll never be negative. It'll always be either a new direction, something positive, something stronger. Okay. Then weaker. Right. Because the intuitive side, the higher side of you doesn't want to scare you, doesn't want to put more, um, emotional strain and stress on you. So it won't turn around and tell you, um, don't do that. You're going to die. You're going to get into a car accident. No, instead you'll get a feeling of, you know what, I'm going to go down this street this way, um, this time to work instead of that way. I don't know why, but just to make it different. Then all of a sudden you get to work and you find out that on the typical way there was a car accident, a sick car pileup that you would have been involved in, maybe you would have gotten hurt. But you weren't warned that something bad was going to happen. You were told, maybe go this way instead. And you decided to listen to it. So it isn't about listening to anything that's fearful or negative. It's always about redirection and, and help and positiveness. So that's how the voice speaks. As long as you keep clearing that channel. Otherwise, what happens with so many people out there, they're getting their intuition, but they're filtering it through all that negative stuff. And that's where the intellect comes in. And they're thinking too much. Right. Okay. Um, for example, this is a primary example because I've spoken with some of these people and I've spoken. We actually had one gentleman of this situation explain to us his experience. There was one morning where some people woke up and a gentleman woke up in the morning and Says to his wife, you know what? I'm going to go to work late this morning. I'm going to drive the kids to school. I came home work, uh, late last night, so I didn't get a chance to spend time with the kids. I'm going to drive them to school this morning. Okay? So he goes to work late. And then somebody else woke up and said, said, I'm taking a me day today. You know, I've not been off from work for a month. I want to stay home today, get some rest. I'm taking a me day and have some fun. Maybe I'll go get my nails done right. And stays home from work. Another person woke up and said, um, I'm going to do my chores. I'm going to pick up the dry cleaning this morning. That way I'll come home tonight and we'll have dinner together. All right? So I'll be a little late for work, but that's okay. Do you know what morning that was?
Speaker A: 9 11.
Speaker B: Absolutely. 9 11. Not one of them was told, don't go to work because something disastrous was going to happen. They were always given something more positive to do. And we don't know how many others were given that information and didn't listen to it. You know, we don't know even what the soul's journeys were. I spoke. We had a gentleman, a survivor of that was in the building when the planes crashed. And he actually did an educational piece for us from an educational organization we belong to. And he was in the building. And he was in the building, um, uh, right above where the plane had crashed in. Okay. And so everybody was going crazy. And they were running out of the. The office before. While everything is coming down, right? And so they were headed towards the closest exit, a whole bunch of. But he explained that something. He felt something on his shoulders that pointed him to the father, um, exit. And he doesn't know why, but he decided to go with that. And everybody's going, no, come this way. You got to go this way and go. And he's going, no, I'm going this way. Come this way. Sure enough, that exit collapsed, and everybody who had gone down that exit perished. But he got down this exit, and on the way down, found a couple of other people, took them with him, and got out of the building unharmed. Um, but when you ask him, he doesn't know what it is, and he doesn't know why he followed it. He doesn't even say it was an angel. He does. He says, I can't say that All I know is that I just felt that I was being pointed in, uh, that direction, and I decided to follow it. And so even then, he wasn't told. No, this is where it's disastrous. No, he just. He had no idea why he was following it, but he decided to follow it. You will never get negative information. I'm actually teaching a course starting in August, um, about not just tapping in and learning to trust your intuition, but actually connecting to your higher soul and getting all your information from the highest part of you and with the highest realm, which is a much deeper, um, dive into that ability, um, that we have. So it's going to be extremely powerful, but it's a matter of being passionate about it, sitting there, quieting your left brain. So there are techniques and practices, but you have to be willing and wanting to do that. And then, yes, you'll get the messages. You will get clear messages, Connie. Uh, I get them all the time.
Speaker A: Yeah.
Speaker B: And so they're not from fear. They're not from just what we think. We're making them up.
Speaker A: Yeah.
Speaker B: When you get a clear message, you cannot deny it because it's, like, almost black and white right in front of you. So that's the way these messages are supposed to be. But you've got to do the work to clear the channel.
Speaker A: I, um, love that visual. I'm a visual person, and it's true. If there's all debris in my way, how can I walk clearly on a path? Right. So if I clear that path, I'll be able to get those downloads. So we're out of time. I hate that we're out of time. This went way too fast for me today.
Speaker B: Oh, my God.
Speaker A: Gross. I know. I'm so.
Speaker B: Well, I talk too much anyway, Connie.
Speaker A: I mean, I love it. I love it. So let's tell me this. What is the best Somebody listening, and they're like, all right, this dude is talking to me. I need to take the bull by the horns and do something right. Is it by the book? Is that a good first start for people?
Speaker B: Oh, well, that. Absolutely. The secret that's holding you back so different than most other books, because it gets to the core. You might find what I do as work for the whole book in one chapter or even one paragraph in some other people's books, but never spend the time to really work on it. This book spends the time on how to get that down deep, how to bring it to the surface. I have great exercises in there and how to continuously work on it. So, yes, that would be Step one. And then the next step is continuing from there. Take a class. Take my class. That. That I'm doing right. And. And beyond intuition is what it's called, beyond intuition. Learn some practicing techniques to be able to get you to that level. So now you're working. Here's two things you're working on. Clearing the inside, like I said, clearing that. The. The. The glasses that you have, that's going to filter everything. And then learning how to get the messages clear and strong and powerful with the highest guidance. And when you combine those two elements and two tools, I mean, you'll be unstoppable. That's the whole point of my work, is to make you unstoppable.
Speaker A: I love it. I just love it. So here's the deal. We're out of time, but I hope truly you were inspired today. Um, you know, why we talked about why so many people spend years doing all this inner work, yet you still feel stuck. Right? So what's missing that most people just don't know? And this could be the book, could be the answer or the solution that can move you from that stuckness to whatever that next reiteration is for yourself. You also learned, um, from Vincent, that you may have hidden survival patterns. We talked about that early on. That may be keeping you from moving forward. And how these patterns are just showing up every day in your life and identifying them. Another step in moving it out. Clearing. Clearing the pathway. Right For. And then the biggest challenges that we face in knowing, uh, what voice to answer or listen to. Right. To get to that higher self and come out of that fear mode. And you gave us so many beautiful examples. And 911 is just such a. Everybody knows 9 11. I don't care where you are in the world. Um, so that was just such a cool story about the gentleman who came out the other way. And I have friends who were in 9 11. My husband did. He was. He would be in that building at the time. We. He took off because my kid. That was my first son. My. My older son, his first day of school. And he took off because he. We felt education was important. We wanted our kids to be very focused on their future. And, you know, the rest is. And I'm gonna cry. So the rest is history. But, um, great. Just a great example because we've heard these stories before, and, um, the divine is there. We just. We have to learn to tap into it. So. All right, so here's the deal, guys. As I compose myself, email, um, Vincent. It's believe at Vincent Jenner. Dot com. Any questions? Of course. Go to his website. Vincent, here's your call to action. I have to always have a call to action, Vincent. Vincent jenner.com. the book is there, and if I'm understanding correctly, they can jump into the classes. Speaker A: But I have to ask you. The Jenna Effect. There's humor in it too, because you're a hoot.
Speaker B: Oh, thank you. I try to, you know, this information and this work is so intense and so difficult that if you don't do it with humor, Connie, it's gonna. People are just gonna blow their minds away. You just gotta make them laugh to get that sugar and to, uh, get that work down. Right. A little teaspoon of sugar makes the. The medicine go down.
Speaker A: Yeah. Mary Poppins. Absolutely.
Speaker B: Go, absolutely.
