This episode is a brief hiatus announcement combined with actionable year-end strategy for relationship-builders. The host shares personal context about neurological complications from the COVID vaccine that necessitated stepping back from the show, reframing the setback as a lesson in entrepreneurial resilience. The core message centers on auditing your influencer database - defined broadly as anyone reaching your ideal clients, regardless of follower count - before 2023 arrives. Listeners using the Beyond Influencer Marketing System are encouraged to review their CRM, identify neglected connections, and schedule catch-up calls or plan collaborative projects. The episode emphasizes that authentic influence compounds when you shift from asking 'how can they help me' to 'what value can I deliver,' positioning yourself as a connector and problem-solver rather than a taker. For B2B operators managing influencer or expert networks, this is a tactical reminder to inventory relationships systematically, clarify your 2023 launch plans, and communicate those plans to partners before the new year.

Key takeaways

  • →Conduct a year-end audit of your influencer connections in your CRM to identify which relationships need nurturing or reconnection before 2023.
  • →Reframe unexpected business disruptions as opportunities to develop resilience, a critical entrepreneurial trait - plan contingencies but accept that course corrections will happen.
  • →The definition of influencer extends beyond celebrities to anyone with an audience of ideal clients, no matter how small, making your network broader than traditional metrics suggest.
  • →Build influence by leading with value delivery and genuine support for your connections rather than focusing primarily on what they can do for you.
  • →Schedule catch-up calls and collaborative project planning with key influencer connections now, and have a clear 2023 content and launch plan ready to share with your network.

Questions this episode answers

What is the Beyond Influencer Marketing System's definition of an influencer?

An influencer is anyone who reaches your ideal clients - not necessarily someone with millions of followers or celebrity status. The audience size matters less than audience fit; a small, perfectly-aligned audience is more valuable than a large, misaligned one.

What should I do with my influencer relationships before the end of 2022?

Review your influencer connections list or CRM, identify relationships that need nurturing, schedule catch-up calls, and plan collaborative projects for 2023. Ensure you have a clear content and launch plan ready to share with your connections.

Why is the Beyond Influencer Marketing Podcast going on hiatus?

The host experienced neurological complications from the COVID vaccine and needs extended time to recover, pushing the new season launch to 2023 instead of fall 2022.

How should I approach influencer relationships to maximize my influence?

Focus on delivering value to your connections and helping them achieve their goals first, rather than asking what they can do for you. This approach to relationship-building leads to effortless client acquisition and genuine influence growth.

What our scoring noted

Our reviewer’s read on each dimension, with quotes from the episode.

Insight Density

6 / 20

The episode consists almost entirely of generic motivational platitudes about resilience, relationship nurturing, and delivering value - ideas that are neither novel nor substantive for B2B operators. The only marginally actionable advice (audit your influencer list, plan 2023 collaborations) is vague and lacking in depth or concrete methodology.

resiliency has one of the best and most important traits that we need to develop as entrepreneurs
now is the perfect time to take stock of your connections, influencer connections

Originality

4 / 20

The episode recycles worn-out startup and business advice: building relationships, delivering value, accepting unexpected challenges, and planning ahead. None of these ideas are contrarian, counterintuitive, or first-principles; they are the exact frameworks circulating across thousands of business podcasts.

resiliency has one of the best and most important traits that we need to develop as entrepreneurs
Contingencies happen stuff happens So we must be ready as much as possible

Guest Caliber

Specificity & Evidence

3 / 20

The episode contains no named examples, data, metrics, timelines (beyond "2023"), or concrete case studies. All claims are abstract and general - 'nurture connections,' 'deliver value,' 'plan collaborations' - without any evidence of how these ideas work in practice or what results they yield.

Go through your list. Go on your CRM if that's where you're organizing your influencer connections
maybe to have a catch-up call, right?

Conversational Craft

2 / 20

There is no conversation, no guest to question, and no back-and-forth dialogue. The host delivers a monologue of motivational statements without any intellectual pushback, critical examination, or genuine inquiry. The format precludes any meaningful conversational craft.

Hello, hello, magnificent friends. Welcome to a new episode of the Beyond Influencer Marketing Podcast, where you learn how to position yourself as a top expert in your field and attract ideal clients by building collaborative relationships with influencers. And today I would like to do two things. Number one, to give you an update on the show and when the new season will start.

And number two, to give you a message to take with you for the remainder of 2022. And I'm recording this in the fall of 2022. Now, if you listened to the previous episode of the show, you might already know that I have been injured with a neurological set of symptoms created by the COVID vaccine. Go figure, right?

So it's been many months and I decided to take a break from the show. So now this break is going to be extended and the new season of the show will be in 2023. And I cannot wait to get back on the mic and bring you the best guests and the best content. Now this challenge that came up in my life showed me that resiliency has one of the best and most important traits that we need to develop as entrepreneurs And it doesn matter how much we plan right Contingencies happen stuff happens So we must be ready as much as possible, but at the same time, understand and accept that unexpected things will happen.

And then all we have to do is to accept and to move ahead with confidence, right? to change course if needed and move ahead with confidence. And that's what I'm doing now, right? I'm saying, okay, well, the new season of the show could not be launched in the fall of 2022 as I was hoping and expecting.

So we have to move it forward to 2023. And as I said, I cannot wait. Now, the message I wanted to share with you and to take with you for the remainder of 2022 is that this is a perfect time to take stock of your connections, influencer connections. And remember, when we talk about influencers, we are not only referring to those people who have millions of followers, celebrities or anything like that.

We are talking about those who reach our ideal clients and their audience might be very small, but that okay because that audience is perfect for us So if you have been following the Beyond Influencer Marketing System you probably have a list of connections who are your influencer connections But now, now until the end of the year, is a great time to taste talk where all those relationships are. And some of them might need some nurturing, right? Maybe something happened in your business day to day that prevented you from nurturing those connections, from staying in touch, from figuring out exactly what you can do to bring value to your connections.

So now is the perfect time. Go through your list. Go on your CRM if that's where you're organizing your influencer connections and see what exactly you need to do until the end of the year to nurture those connections, maybe to have a catch-up call, right? Perfect time to do that.

or to plan what you want to do in the new year with the influencer in terms of collaborative projects, right? I've been getting a lot of emails of my connections asking me, okay, what do you have going on for the next year? How can we support you, right? This is what we have going on.

So now is the perfect time to think about, to plan ahead and see how you can collaborate with your influencers. So that what all I going to say make sure that you are nurturing Make sure that you have a clear launch and content plan for 2023 so you can actually share this with your connections And, of course, remember that the main value that we have here in the Beyond Influencer Marketing world is to deliver value. So ask yourself always, how can I continue to deliver value to my connections?

Who do I want to connect in 2023? but what do I have of value for them, right? It's not all about how they can help me, but most importantly, what I can do to help them. Because when you become a person of value, that's when you will see your influence skyrocket and that's when you will see all those clients come in effortlessly.

So I hope this inspired you. Have a wonderful rest of the year. Thank you so very much for being my listener, for tuning in to the Beyond Influencer Marketing Podcast. Thank you for being patient as I go through this great challenge in my life.

And I will see you in 2023. And always, always reveal your magnificence.
