This episode tackles the misconception that AI-generated ads don't convert by showcasing real performance data from agencies like Cantina Labs and brands like Kali and Rise. Stav from MaxFusion walks through the platform's core workflow: using the research lab to reverse-engineer competitor ads (analyzing funnel stage, emotional hooks, and offer stacks), feeding that data into Claude via MaxFusion's MCP (Model Context Protocol) to generate scripts, and then producing videos through ad creation, hook repurposing, and ad mutation features. The key insight is that AI UGC works when you're transparent about it being AI and focus on creative hooks rather than deceiving audiences. Demonstrated use cases include creating drama-style ads (like Rise's singing ads), scaling Cantina's viral UGC hooks with different actors, localizing ads across 35 languages using ElevenLabs integration and lip-sync correction, and even mutating existing TikTok videos to test different people or characters. For app marketers and performance teams testing dozens of creative angles on tight budgets, this workflow eliminates the need to hire expensive UGC creators for every variation - instead, you test hooks cheaply and only invest in real creators once you've validated an angle.

Be transparent that it's AI and focus on creative, entertaining hooks rather than trying to trick people into thinking they're real. Brands like Rise and Cantina Labs run millions in AI ad spend successfully by positioning ads as genuine creative content - drama stories, meme formats, or viral trends - rather than fake testimonials.
Use the research lab to analyze competitor ads by funnel stage and emotional angle, then feed that data into Claude via MaxFusion's MCP asking for script ideas. This gives Claude real performing hooks to work with instead of generating generic scripts that no one responds to.
Yes - use the admutator feature to take any existing TikTok or UGC video and change the actor/character completely by uploading a different person's image. This lets you test if a hook works across different demographics without re-shooting the entire video.
Clone the original actor's voice via ElevenLabs integration, generate the script in the new language, use MaxFusion's lip-sync module to resync the video, and use the vocal separator to preserve the original background music and noise - so it doesn't sound like a silent, artificially dubbed video.
You can create dozens or hundreds of test variations for the price of one UGC shoot, making it viable to rapidly test 100+ creative angles, identify winners, and only then invest in real creators for proven hooks.

There are a handful of genuinely useful observations - the AI micro-drama format running 8+ minutes before product reveal, the 92% remarketing stat, and the advice to start with cheaper generation models - but the bulk of the runtime is a guided product demo, dad joke competition, app-audit filler, and audience shoutouts. The ratio of actionable signal to noise is low.
they play for sometimes eight minutes before they show you the product
don't start with the most expensive model...start with the cheaper models like Minimax H3 or Clink, uh, 4
The observation that virtually all high-spend drama ads are now AI-generated (tracing the lineage from Korean/Chinese micro-dramas) and the curiosity-gap framing of Rise's 'we owe you an apology' format are genuinely fresh. However, most other points - test creatives, algorithm rewards engagement, don't deceive consumers - are recycled performance-marketing orthodoxy.
It started with the micro dramas in uh, in China where they could afford to produce in a studio. All of these quick, super emotional, extremely emotional, manipulative dramas for cheap. They made a lot of money. Now people scale this with AI. All of the dramas are AI.
algorithmic wise, the view time, it's insane. So what does it tell to the algorithm? It says, look, this is a great content
Stav is a founder with genuine enterprise clients and real performance-marketing knowledge, and he demonstrates hands-on familiarity with the creative testing stack. However, the entire appearance functions as a product demo/sales pitch for his own tool, which limits how much practitioner-level wisdom he actually shares versus feature-showcasing.
we have so many performance agencies that work with us
I have like 50 slack channels with our enterprise clients that complain and cry about the things that pains them and we just add it extremely fast
The episode includes some real named examples - Rise mushroom coffee's AI singing drama ads, Cantina Labs as a Sean Parker-backed client, specific model names (Minimax H3, Kling 3/4, Wan 1.3.0), and a rough $2-per-localization cost figure. These are useful anchor points, but many supporting claims remain anecdotal ('millions of downloads,' 'massive amount of dollars') and the examples are instrumentalised to sell MaxFusion rather than to educate neutrally.
Rise, which is um, this mushroom coffee brand...More than half of the ads they run right now are these singing Pixar style drama ads
Cantina Labs, which is a massive Sean Parker company...they are running their stack on MaxFusion and they make a lot of AI ads
Steve asks a few decent framing questions and occasionally nudges for examples, but he functions primarily as an enthusiastic demo assistant rather than a probing interviewer - repeatedly responding with 'That's insane,' 'Wow,' and 'I love it' without ever challenging a claim, pressing on ethics beyond surface-level acknowledgement, or asking for failure cases. The format is structurally a product walkthrough, not a substantive interview.
Give me an example. I know you kind of shared with me before we went live
Wow. That's so simple.

Speaker A: Here's a number that completely stopped me. 92% of all iOS e commerce ad spend now goes to Remarketing. Yes, remarketing. Not acquisition, but re engagement. The playbook has completely flipped. AppsFlyer just released their State of E Commerce App marketing report for 2026 and it's full of data like this. Platform trends, conversion benchmarks, fraud signals, market by market breakdowns. If you're planning your Q4 budgets. This is required reading. It's free. Grab it at the link in the description. M. What is up App nation? It is. Uh, Steve P. Young, founder of App Masters.com unfortunately, I can't see, but we're going to Talk all about AI UGCs. What if you can create hundreds, if not thousands of hooks every single month to test your creatives and help it grow? And joining me today is STA from Max Fusion. Okay, I gotta get rid of this. I. Let's bring him in. All right, stop. I tried to do something fun for Halloween and it got in the way, but let me do a proper intro. What if you could create hundreds of video ads, tests, viral hooks, and he's going to show you the workflow that's going to help you test all these viral hooks and scale your app downloads without spending thousands of dollars on influencers or traditional UGC creators. And so this is style from MaxFusion AI. We've got an upcoming video where we show you how to recreate some of the top popular ads for some of your biggest competitors using Max Fusion. But without further ado, Stuff, welcome to the show.
Speaker B: Thanks for inviting me and, uh, happy early Halloween. I love the costume, by the way.
Speaker A: I tried. And you know what? This was an old costume that I kind of put together and I had to like, throw everything together. So. Hey, stuff, you know, some of the things that we've been talking about with AI, I think a lot of people are like, afraid to adopt AI ugc. I know some of my clients are already going and pushing ads and scaling with AI generated ads. But to those who are like, are there specific categories? Or people are like, I don't know if AI is going to work for my category, especially AI generated videos. What do you say to that?
Speaker B: I would say that it's, um, first of all, we have so many performance agencies that work with us. And also we'll showcase today, like Cantina, uh, Labs, which is a massive Sean Parker company. And, um, the results say otherwise. You can heavily expand AIs. I think it's more about don't lie to people. That the person they are viewing is fake. Don't lie to people that it's a real person. Just they don't try to cheat people. And then they accept AI ads. Pretty much like they accept it.
Speaker A: Give me an example. I know you kind of shared with me before we went live, but give me an example of like what do you mean by like? Don't try to trick them.
Speaker B: Like if you would look today on uh Rise, which is um, this mushroom coffee brand, you know it's one of the biggest DTC brands in the world. More than half of the ads they run right now are these singing Pixar style drama ads where you see like uh, it starts with somebody uh, slaps his girlfriend. That's the hook. And they're like what the hell is happening? It's like my husband is cheating on me or whatever. And then starts a whole song. And now it's 100. This is AI
Speaker A: M.
Speaker B: But people just sit and watch these dramas. Actually it's, it became one of the most fascinating like things that are happening now with AI Those singing ads. You've probably seen some, some stuff about it and what happens is they take all of the unaware category of customers first. Like people that don't know they have a problem and they don't know yet what is right. They don't know nothing.
Speaker A: And
Speaker B: they just scroll on their uh, social media and then all of a sudden they see this kind of drama song ad taking place. So they just stay and watch it. And the crazy thing about those ads is like they play for sometimes eight minutes before they show you the product.
Speaker A: Wow.
Speaker B: So you, you just stay to watch like what happened? Like the, you know my husband was cheating on me and then I found out and everybody knew already except for me. And then it turns out I'm not as pretty as I used to be. I gained some weight, whatever. And they play this whole thing for you and you just stay and buy in the end. So I know it sounds like a little bit like sinister or whatever but I think as performance marketer you have to take into account you need to test what works for you. And you could scale and test hooks much more and much faster and higher volume for a cheaper price. With AI so you could distill the ctr, distill the view time, distill the conversion rate and then distill the cost per install. I'll be honest with you still human creators are probably the biggest performing ads. But it doesn't mean you can ignore AI it's just like it's a fact now this is what I would say just to people who are reluctant to try.
Speaker A: And the interesting part is kind of to your point, I've seen a lot of these ads that are like short drama, and they're all AI generated. And you can see that even the short drama category stav are is a lot of it is AI generated. And a lot of most of it now AI. Yeah, generated too.
Speaker B: Most of them. Of the ads that bang like massive amount of dollars right now in AI dramas, like in dramas are made by AI. It's not, you know, it started with the micro dramas in, uh, in Korea and uh, China where they could afford to produce in a studio. All of these quick, super emotional, extremely emotional, manipulative dramas for cheap. They made a lot of money. Now people scale this with AI. All of the dramas are AI. So
Speaker A: I love it. All right, we got art here. He's excited for this one. Trying to create some creatives with AI. We've got MG developers. We got Joe. What's up? Leo's here. Joe liked my costume, hopefully. And then Leo, Kev. And then we got that. All right, stop. Take it away. I know you wanted to show off a few things with Max Fusion, so if you guys want to check it out, it is MaxFusion AI. I have the website on here and I again, I've been using it. I told stuff before we hit. We went live. I've been using it to create my own ads for my app and I'm going to run it this weekend. You know, for our fitness app. Sundays through Tuesdays generally do well stuff. And so I've got like eight videos. I've got the other two that my team created themselves. And then I've got eight that Max Fusion created and I'm going to run them all. And I. And I did everything within Claude. So I love the NCP that you have with Claude.
Speaker B: Yeah, this is awesome. You also showed, I think in your video how you made these whiteboard ads. And this is super easy to make with AI, right? Like it's.
Speaker A: Yes, it's going to be great.
Speaker B: Cool.
Speaker A: Yeah, we got that video that's going to come up on Tuesday. You guys will see the entire process about how we created this whiteboard video ad. Let's talk.
Speaker B: Yeah, of course. Let's start with, uh, just directly from, um, the X ray feature. So tell me just if you see my screen.
Speaker A: Yes.
Speaker B: So one of the cool things we have, we. We have added this kind of like meta ads Research Library, TikTok Organic Instagram Reels where you could take the brands of the apps that you follow that publish ads on Meta, you can enter the brand page inside the research lab and get this X ray report. So I took Kali, which is everybody knows Kali, right? And the cool thing is that it shows you like the top performing ads based on the um, longest, um, running or I think it's some of them are based on views. But the more cool thing is like that you can see for example when I go, uh, I talk about this now because we have to start from somewhere, right? You have to start from research. If you don't know yet where to start from, you gotta start from competitors or people that are in adjacent niches to you. And you see here the stages of the funnel where the person is. So you see, unaware that they have a problem. Actually for Karl, not very, not a lot of ads. Most of the ads are either um, circling around people that are aware they have a problem or they are already aware there is a solution. Uh, and then the format itself of the ad. So for example, if I click here
Speaker C: right now, if you can guess how much is in this meal right here, uh, I'm guessing There's at least 800 calories in this. You sure? 200%. I bet. Let's use Calai to check how much is in here.
Speaker B: So you see, so this is like one of the formats I can see in a spider chart. What is emotion is it playing on? So mostly on competence, curiosity, engagement. Not um, so much on empowerment or urgency. I can have the transcript of the ad. So to use it straight away, let's look at the angles by the stage. For example here it's eliminating uh, the calorie guesswork or effortless, uh, photo logging. Good. So actually this kind of stuff you could easily create with AI, just B roll and some sharing of the app. So we have uh, all of their ads by format. If you go down, you can see each one of the hooks of the different stages of the funnel they have. You can see the offer stack. Because sometimes this is important. You know, what's the prices they're they're going for, what kind of deals are they going for, you know, what are the calls to action. And the cool thing about MaxFusion with this is that you can feed all of this to Claude from the MCP of MaxFusion. So you don't need to blow up your brains. You know, with uh, all of this data trying to make sense out of it. You can just tell Claude and ask questions about it that are related to you. You can say like, for example, hey Claude, I also have a calorie tracking, um, app. And what are the best angles I should start with for unaware customers based on what Calais is doing? And to tell you, look, start with effortless calorie tracking, guessing for example, or tracking. And you can take it from there and you can say, okay, so what are the best hooks for this stage? And it can give it to you. So now we did all of that because we found it that people have a hard time with the scripting phase. You know, you go to write uh, a script for your ad if you don't have an experience and you don't know and m. If you will just go to cloud now and say, make me uh, an uh, ad script for my calorie tracking app, you will get some horrible slope. It's like, I always thought it was hard. Now it's easy. Here is the app and it's like, come on, no one's going to buy from this. So we added the resource lab, um, first because very important to have a data layer with real hooks, with real performing ads, with real offers. Now you can feed that into cloud and get better scripts. Good, let's move on to the stuff that you can do with it. Or I want
Speaker A: to, I want to hold real quick on this too. And while you pull that up, I really love this whole problem aware solution where one of our most popular videos that you know, we, we had up but we had to take it down. But anyways it's only we, we did with the rest of me folks. And Christine was really breaking down how she did all the hooks and everything like that. And you kind of now with AI and Max Fusion, you kind of break it all down for us. And I love this hook too. Like it's eye catching to me. This one with the car, it's like that's perfect for AI. Like that is one where you can get. And I love it like it's, it's appropriate especially for those in the States where, you know, you know, we're starting to get fall and winter. So it's like appropriate and it's catchy in my eye. So.
Speaker B: And by the way, with the mcp, you could take this one and you could change what's written on the car and you could change the color of the car. You can change, you can add an offer label below it so you can, you can make like 100 statics in a few minutes and test them out, you know, so that's, that's part of it.
Speaker A: Now I want to change my ads Solution aware. I got to go into more. All right,
Speaker B: exactly. That's, that's the bottom of the funnel. So solution aware. I, I don't, you don't need to tell me that I have a problem.
Speaker A: Right.
Speaker B: And I've tried different solutions and now you're preaching to me your solution with your angle.
Speaker A: Yeah.
Speaker B: Uh, by the way, another cool thing we're adding, I hope in next week or two will be the entire brand sentiments online trustpilot other places. What are people talking about this and what are they complaining about? So for example, now I can take what people are complaining about my competitor app and use it as a pain point. Do you know it when you try to scan a, uh, picture on your uh, calorie fitting, uh, app and it just loads forever. Shouldn't it? We just be fast. We made it fast. You see. So all of a sudden it's like, cool. So, uh, let's talk a little bit about Cantina Labs. I mean probably some of you have heard about it. If not, go check it out. Is this app that allows you to prank your relatives or friends or whatever. And they, uh, have millions, millions of downloads. Obviously they have also millions of dollars to spend on ads, but they are running their stack on MaxFusion and they make a lot of AI ads. And I want to show you some tricks that you can do. Just to give you an example. And then we go to questions. So we have first of all some flow that we did for them. This is one of their most viral UGC app hooks that went viral on TikTok. Basically a guy tells his girlfriend that he cheated on her with this hamster that says, I'm sorry, I think I splashed into a kitten after I was drunk in the pub. And in our canvas you could give this video basically to uh, maxfusion and with images of different actors and you could repurpose all of these hooks just to test if they work with people that look different, you know, so then you.
Speaker D: I think I had too many drinks last night and ended up in a girl's kitten and splashed some socks.
Speaker B: So it's like uh, you could pretty easily now make a hook repurposing visually where you take a winning hook even, even, let's say if you guys paid already for some creators and you have the rights, you could use it to replicate the hook now with different looking people. If you have an idea for this and basically even, you see, I could turn it into a picture style. You see, look at that. Oh my God,
Speaker D: I think I had.
Speaker B: You see. So because we Said that I could do different visual styles that may stop the scroll. That I'm not trying to hide if this is a human or not, you know, and I'm trying to test it. So with the canvas you can do that. For example, hook repurposing. So this is one thing. Now let's, uh, show m some ads, uh, that you could do. So this is one winning ad, which is kind of AI ugc. Don't hate me. Guys, this one worked. So let's just take a look at it.
Speaker A: I love it.
Speaker E: Everyone keeps asking how people make those viral AI character videos. You don't need editing skills for this. You need one app. Uh, it's called Cantina. Open it, pick a character, type what you want them to say, hit generate. A few minutes later, the video's done and ready to post. That's the whole trick. Download Cantina and make your first one today. Cantina.
Speaker A: Wow. That's so simple.
Speaker B: You see, it's very simple. Uh, usually when you do, like apps you need to install. Right. That's the whole point. In most cases, unless you're a giant player in the industry, if not, most of you guys just need someone to install. So it's like hook. Hook can be very cool. Things that you can, uh, get from TikTok and our research lab can show you the recent trends. So you take something from that, make a hook that stops the scroll, explain the use case call to action. It's very, very simple. So also in a usage, uh, economics point of view, you could say this is not an expensive ad to make. You're not trying to make some cinema thing. Let me show you another one that takes the more AI approach. So let's see if it's. This is the one. Um, okay. Yeah, this also worked. It's like the emotional support brick.
Speaker F: I gave a brick the launch. It absolutely did not need. I made this in Cantina. I don't even own the brick. Now I'm making a perfume ad. That one might actually be useful. Try it. Download Cantina.
Speaker A: It's almost
Speaker B: like a
Speaker A: B2B play stuff. Uh,
Speaker B: because you're trying just to get, you know, like you're trying to take a use case.
Speaker A: Yeah.
Speaker B: And like, of course you need to have a, uh, budget in meta for this. Right. Because when we test creatives, Andromeda, uh, we need to say there is an angle to target someone. The amount of ads I can afford running is the amount of angles I can afford testing. Uh, that's basically, uh, the trick. Now let me show you some more uh, crazy stuff that you can do with what we call admutator, where you can take existing, um, videos and change the characters completely. Let's start with more of a dtc. There was this ninja water filter that went viral. And then show something more crazy, uh, more meme style. Let's look at this.
Speaker G: When I pour soda pop in the new ninja water filter, I mean, you can see how dark it is. Hopefully we're not about to break the machine. All right, let's see. No way. Look at that. Crystal clear water. Now I'm going to taste. Tastes like water. It even took the carbonation out of it.
Speaker B: So you see, this is crazy.
Speaker A: Like,
Speaker B: if you just think about what we're watching here. The left one is a real UGC, right from TikTok,
Speaker A: uh,
Speaker B: that went viral. The right one is just the admutator just changed the person. I just gave a person, like, an image of this person. By the way, it's not a real person, and just did it. Did that. So this is how powerful it got. Just so you guys understand, open your
Speaker A: mind if you already bribe what you wanted in a character.
Speaker B: I made the picture. Yeah, I made the character and then I gave the picture, uh, to the MCP and with the TikTok video and said, just change the person. Use the ad mutator and change the person to this image. And just did it. You see the
Speaker A: point? Insane. Yeah, yeah. Art said, that's insane. So it was within Claude. You just say, use the ad mutator and then for a different person.
Speaker B: Yeah. And now let's show you even crazy. So let's take. Let's take it up a notch. So we have this, uh, ugc, uh, channels on Facebook that make a lot of money from affiliation or selling ebooks for Korean beauty secrets.
Speaker A: Oh, my God. And we
Speaker B: just changed it with, uh, Suzanne Dell and, uh, Michael Saylor. So let's have a look.
Speaker H: Put baking soda on your face and watch what happens. They don't want people in the United States sharing this. Take a small bowl and. And add some baking soda. Then mix in a little coconut oil and the juice of half a lemon. Blend it well, then brush it onto your face and down along your neck. Let it sit for 20 minutes before rinsing it off. Do this for just one week and your skin will look 10 years younger. Follow me for more simple home remedies and natural ways to take care of yourself.
Speaker B: Yeah, okay, so she didn't look 10 years younger, but we could have chosen someone else. Yes, but yeah. So this pretty much like, it's very much a, uh, tip of the fork.
Speaker A: Yeah. Oh, we have
Speaker B: some
Speaker A: questions. Can I use a video in a language and localize it to another?
Speaker B: Yes, you can. So there, like, we give certain. We won't have all the time to talk about, like, 90 different tools, but one of the things we. The different ways to chase this. So one is you could, um, with one click in MacFusion, you could clone the voice of the actor, for example, save it to your ElevenLabs accounts, which you can connect to MaxFusion. Now you use the, um, ElevenLabs Voice 4, which is the most advanced model to, uh, make the script in the same length in another language. Then you will use the MaxFusion lip sync, uh, module to basically render the same video with a new lip sync of the, um, other language. That's it. You localize the ad.
Speaker A: Wow, that's insane. Yeah. You support 35 different languages. It looks like I'm gonna pull. And it will cost
Speaker B: you, like, I don't know, a $2 or so like to do that. So.
Speaker A: Yes, I love it.
Speaker B: We also do, like, another cool thing here that you could. One of the things I hated about dubbing is, is that it will strip away all the background noise from the video, and all of a sudden it will be in a new language, but with a silent background. And then if the person, for example, is standing outside, it makes it feel fake all of a sudden. So we fixed it because we added a tool that is called vocal, uh, separator. So now it will take the background noise and music from the original video and keep it for you. You can change the voice to the new language and re. Add it back to the video. So now you keep the background noise, change the language. You see the point, and it sounds more realistic rather than. You just do it the traditional way.
Speaker A: That's brilliant. So, uh, there you go. Take a bow. That's awesome. You got some more stuff that you want to show us?
Speaker B: Um, let me see if I can. Let's show some more freestyle things inside there for a second.
Speaker A: That ninja thing was insane.
Speaker B: Yeah, I mean, you can also do it with, you know, all of these AI influencers. They show now with. To do the dances, like, just take any dance, change it to yourself, change it to a funny character, use it as a hook for your app. So take this John Paul, whatever, this blonde guy with the. With the kara coupe, and, uh, make him like, I lost 10 pounds. And then just show your app. Here's a hook. Like, it's really endless. Just open your mind Guys to the stuff you can do with AI and don't only say oh, don't scam people with I ugc. It doesn't convert. Think outside of the box. You know, there's so many stuff you can do and it's pretty cheap. So
Speaker A: one of the things I like to stop was like even if you are working with real quote unquote, real people, like I don't know why I was quote unquote, it is real people. But like one of the things I started thinking was like, okay, we have clients that have like real influencers. I'm like, hey, here's some ideas we came up with using Max Fusion and your, at uh, your radar product to real research and be like, I, uh, created an AI, now go create it. You know, like here's
Speaker B: pretty
Speaker A: much the script and go create it yourself. So you can always use it as an example for something that you're looking for when you're working.
Speaker B: Here is my co founder mutated this hook.
Speaker A: Yeah, I'll pull it up.
Speaker B: He doesn't speak.
Speaker A: Oh, that's your co
Speaker B: founder
Speaker A: speaking a different language.
Speaker B: Yeah, exactly. Just with the admutator, you see. So uh, um, let's show a little bit. So that's just some stuff that there is a brand kit that you can add, you see to uh, a brand here. And it will make basically Claude be able to replicate or create any uh, video for you using the correct branding, the correct colors. You can add the brand kit of your app, you know, and then Opus could also make motion design for you. This is something that's coming up, uh, the research lab, like we said. So there's uh, for example here you can make swipe files, which is one of the cool things about uh, the research lab. I can talk to Claude and say here are the ads that I know about, you know, my competitors and I make a swipe file so I can keep save somewhere for inspiration.
Speaker G: Most people
Speaker B: track ads and do the analysis and transcription. So all of this material can be used by the MCP for you to script and do your ads better. Um, then the workflow just to show we have the whole canvas and what's cool about it is yeah, you got all the image models and video models you can think about. But one of the things we hated about other workflow canvases, other than the fact that now you can add research, uh, meta ads and then directly go from scripting to generation in one canvas, is that there's a lot of tools you needed as an editor or producer that you needed to go outside to Capcut or other stuff, which for me slows you down. The creative process. So we added every single thing you can think about. Extract a frame and then use it to generate new images or continue the video from there. Take only the audio strip, trim the media, change the speed because sometimes you need to accelerate, decelerate, um, resize media so it will fit the 916. Because sometimes you give it to a video model and you get back the video in the wrong format. You try to upload it to TikTok and it tell you, I'm sorry, this is not 916.
Speaker A: Yes. So
Speaker B: now you have to go to Capcut and uh, no, you just go to Resize Media Node and say fit it for me, you know, cop or fit for 916. That's it. You know, sometimes the video is just too big. So you have compressed. Just compress the size for me. So I don't need to deal with this. You see the point?
Speaker A: Yeah,
Speaker B: Text overlay with the fonts of my brand because the image models create slop. So now I can just use the fonts that I know about and put them over my banners, my statics, whatever. And Claude will do it for me. You see the point? Um, connect your Google Drive. There's a lot of. A lot of stuff, you know, so. But the bottom line is we really built it. Dog fooding. We do all the content marketing and ads of MaxFusion. With MaxFusion and all the agencies talk to us. I have like 50 slack channels with our enterprise clients that complain and cry about the things that pains them and we just add it extremely fast to the platform. That's why it looks the way it looks like,
Speaker A: you know, one of the things I created and I'm happy to show it off. I'm going to pull it up right here. Is in here. You guys can see my workflow a little bit. Stuff is there. Let me pull it right here. So right here it's all in the cloud. You know, I've got my products and it came up with the script. But forget the ad. Like the ad is great. Like you know, and came up with the ad itself, the idea. So I'm going to. But I just did this like I did. I was able to just upload the icon and then it did everything else like the end card and it didn't have it. I was like, can you add the end card and then added the end card and then think to everything else. So it, it really worked out pretty well. And I really like, you can see I've created a bunch of ads through this and it script everything gave me with different angles and. Yeah,
Speaker B: by the way, how did you feel? Uh, what. Just to say we put like hundreds of hours into the MCP to make the strongest MCP in the market because we had this slogan that I, that I saw recently, which was like, I don't want to use your agent. I want my agent to use your thing.
Speaker A: M. I like it. Yeah, I don't. I mean, look, I'm just stepping into it. But it was so easy for me because when we created the Shot C video, you know, I was able to fully understand. And then when I came up to this one, I just literally started prompting it, like a basic one. I was like, hey, what would be some good ads for this type of app that's targeting early 50 year olds? And so it came up with different angles and I was like, I like these angles. You know, I understand the product. And I was like, give me some different angles that you think would be. And then I was like, the mom. And so now I can feed it with like, okay, give me like more solution oriented ones like, or you problem aware. Like, you know, you should be doing something for mobility as you age because, you know, my app's a little bit more like chair stuff. And so, yeah, like, now I know how to like, actually prompt it better to get us a better result. But the. I just stayed in cloud the whole time just talking to it. It was seamless. Man. I really like
Speaker B: it. By the way, do you use like whisper? Do you dictate or do you type?
Speaker A: Oh, we got another. Yes, we're about to. I'm typing right now because I'm old school. All right. It takes me a little bit.
Speaker B: I did. No, don't worry. I had also to make this jump. Now I cannot type anymore because, uh, I check like in whisper flow, uh, how fast I speak. I think I speak like 160 or 180 words per minute. Something crazy. I don't know, like 0.3 of the population can speak as fast. And because prompt engineering doesn't matter anymore. And especially if you have a good MCP like this, just press the button and just speak to Claude. Say, hey, Claude, let's do a 50 year old, like, angle for my app, Tai Chi, uh, app you already have in my memory. You know, we're doing this, we're doing today. Problem aware. Go for this, go for that, don't do this, don't do that, go. And you will see all of a sudden, like, it Just, it just flows. Um,
Speaker A: yeah,
Speaker B: I can, I can show you a little vision
Speaker A: and let you start your habit today. Try it for free as the end scripting. That's it. That's all I said. I typed it. But yes, I will talk it soon.
Speaker B: Just speak. Just let it go. Let it rip, you know. And, um, our plans now, the real time voice models are not there yet. The ones that answer fast enough and operate tools at the same time. I believe we are like four to five months from there. So my vision for max fusion for the higher tiers is that you could just talk to it and it talks back. So it's like, hey, Steve, how are you doing? It's like, hey, we're making some more ads. Ah, cool, let's do some ads.
Speaker A: M
Speaker B: and it will just be a conversation so you won't need to read anything anymore. You just talk and it talks to you and you're making ads. You know, it's happening. Just,
Speaker A: it's going to be awesome. Leo says, I'm starting to get addicted with speaking to Claude. Best voice recognition ever, even in Portuguese.
Speaker B: I agree with you. People would think I'm crazy. You know, on my way to the office, I have my morning kind of brainstorming with Claude. I just put on voice mode
Speaker A: and
Speaker B: I talk about different things. You know, stuff we need to develop or approaches to the business in general or what are we going to do next? And just have these one hour conversations and you know,
Speaker A: I love it. That's insane. Okay, anything else you want to show?
Speaker B: No, I mean that's, that's pretty much. That's the sauce, guys.
Speaker A: I love it. And you know, we shared a lot stuff. Is there like, for those who are just starting to create some, um, like would you recommend checking out the research or is there one thing that you're like, hey, start with this and then, you know, start like just creating ads and prompting it for ads. But is there like a, A, uh, good entry point for those just getting started?
Speaker B: I would say that first of all, I have to say getting started for me is you can afford to test some meta ads. Because in the beginning, if you cannot do even that, I don't have much advice for you because you need to be able to run ads at least, right?
Speaker A: Yeah.
Speaker B: If you do, don't start with the most expensive model. Maybe this is the mistake that everybody does. Everybody goes for siege 2.5 and then it burns the credits really fast. Of course, it's the best videos in the world. Like, you just say what you want and Understand, you start with the approach we talked about in the beginning. Some hook that you can attract attention from, um, from TikTok. And then what's your kind of problem? Whatever you want to show, show it pretty Quickly and then CTA. So start with the cheaper models like Minimax H3 or Clink, uh, 4. It's a bit expensive. Click 3 could cover most hooks. I saw by the way, Motion design that what we show with the mutator, it's not as good as what we have, but you can try 1.3.0 and you can uh, replicate this hook for yourself for a cheaper price. So just try to start with those and then just see where it takes you. You know, in the beginning. Just accept it that you're just gathering data. I think that's the pain that people hate, right? That's like you only find out if it stops the score or not and you burn your money anyway. You only find out if there is ctr, you know, like uh,
Speaker A: is there the. Have you seen, you know, whether it's. Customers of yours using Max fusion use these AI And I've, I've worked with, you know, I've talked to a few people that have seen, you know, AI UGC creators go viral. Like have you seen that happen within your platform as well?
Speaker B: I mean, yeah, I mean there is everything. To be honest with you, like there is like the uh, what, what we do find out, I'll uh, be honest about it, is that if you don't try to tell people that an uh, AI person is real, you get a much better response. So if it's funny, if it's a joke or it's obviously AI, it's Pixar style, it's cartoon animations, it's like some kind of like skit. Uh, if it's clearly obscenely realistic looking, but it's clearly AI like some crazy guy with his Elvis wig, you know, huge Elvis wig and funny buffed up body, whatever. Of course this is AI, but it's kind of, it's on a realistic kind of style of video. It's fine. You know, the only turn off for people is that uh, I don't know, transformation. You know, a uh, fake person says, here is me and here is me after the app. And it's like, ah, screw you. You know, this is not right. Like you are lying. You know, but if a uh, hot girl says, you know what I like, I like buffed guys. So now I didn't say that the buffed guy lost weight with the app and she didn't say that she's real. She just, uh, said that she likes buffed guys, you know, and now you can show something. So if you could stop the score with this, that's fine. You know what I mean? Like, just don't, don't go for cheating people, uh, with a fake testimonial that's anyway in some jurisdiction is not even legal anymore. But
Speaker A: any other things we should avoid when it comes to creating videos with AI,
Speaker B: I mean, don't do illegal stuff. But other than that, I can tell you that some of the stuff that Rise is doing right now and Resilia, you probably heard about them. Like, it's borderline. Like, you could say, whoa, how far can they take it? Like a girl getting beaten up by her abusive girlfriend. The father comes out of the house to help the girlfriend, but the father is fat, so the boyfriend kind of smacks the father down. And then the girl says, daddy, you can't protect me because you're fat and you're neglected. And now he kind of goes into a journey to blame himself that she has an abusive boyfriend and she. And he should have taken care of his health so he could beat up the. You see, so you could say, whoa, this is a little bit.
Speaker A: Yeah,
Speaker B: this is really far out. Is it legal or illegal? I guess it's still legal. Uh, is it ethical? I don't think it's ethical at all.
Speaker A: M.
Speaker B: But yeah, that's. That's. Well, performance marketers and attention economy has taken us too. I mean, we must face this, guys. Like, I'm not a preacher of the dark side of the or the bright side. I'm just saying, guys, Attention economy has become insane. An insane thing. People are so, like, zombified and tired of everything that you really have to grab their attention. And by now we see marketers are willing to do everything, you know, to stop it, to stop the attention. And, uh, up to you, where you don't do legal stuff, but it's up to you. Like on your ethical kind of dialogue, what are you willing to do to stop someone? And, you know,
Speaker A: here's one of the Rise ads that you're talking about
Speaker E: because you saw one of our ads. We owe you an apology. Yes, we told you that every scoop has six powerful adaptogenic mushrooms. Lion's mane for focus, cordyceps for energy, reishi for stress, turkey tail for gut health. Oh,
Speaker A: my
Speaker E: God. Yes, we told you it's organic mushrooms grown in California, third party tested and
Speaker D: tastes like a
Speaker E: creamy
Speaker D: latte.
Speaker E: And
Speaker D: yes, we told
Speaker E: you it helps with bloating, brain fog, and feeling less puffy. But there's one thing
Speaker D: we didn't
Speaker E: mention. Rise has a bundle deal right now. That's absolutely.
Speaker A: Okay, that's a minute long. I don't want to m. But I wanted to show you an example of, like, what you meant with crazy characters and stuff like that.
Speaker B: And people accept this, you know, And I can tell you there's probably a view, a high view on it, because there is a curiosity gap that is not closed. Like, like, look, we lied to you. It's like, yeah, I knew it, I knew it. You know,
Speaker A: and
Speaker B: then you're like, yeah, we told you this. Yeah, we told you about that. And it's like, yeah, I knew it. The mushrooms don't work. You know, I knew it. I knew it. It's like, no, you see, you've been. You've been duped by an ad because you think, uh, about algo. It's such a genius strategy because algorithmic wise, the view time, it's insane. So what does it tell to the algorithm? It says, look, this is a great content. My viewers. Because Mark Zuckerberg's vision after Andromeda was ads, uh, are just like any other organic content. If it's amusing and entertaining and enjoyful for my viewers, I'll show it to them. And if not, I'll punish you. I don't want to show them your. Your slope or your boring ass. Nobody wants to watch them. You see the point? Your job now is to entertain, is to create. Curiosity is to engage. It's to. And with those AI visuals, you can do all kind of stuff. You know, there is like, do you know the, um, the screaming, the talking object ads? So it's like, it's just like a muscle and it's like screams as you, hey, I'm your muscles.
Speaker A: Oh, yeah, I see that. You
Speaker B: know, I'm tired, I'm dehydrated. You know, it's like, you know, it works.
Speaker A: Oh, man, that is insane. And I really like where they had some social proof. Like, even if I didn't buy the ads, it's like, yes, we. You probably bought one of, you know, Rise because of one of our ads. And it's like a subtle way to show some social proof at the same time, which I think
Speaker B: about another thing. Like, it puts a smile on your face because you had a funny song and it was funny, and now you just. You heard Rise. Maybe you're not buying it. Yeah, but you have a good feeling. Now you might say to. You might share It. Some people share this, you know, like, whoa, look, look. It's so funny. Like, check this out, you know, and you get like,
Speaker A: oh, man, I love it. I love it. There's a. Yeah, there's a sorry one right here too. They really like this angle. We're sorry. If you bought Rise last week, we apologize. And if you waited. So I like it. Oh, that's interesting. All right, you can do all of this. I'm. I'm in the meta ads platform, but you can do all of that within Max Fusion, within Claude. Once you connect the mcp really easy to connect to and then loves it. All right, well, let's go into our app audit round, and then we want to thank our sponsor at Web2Wave. Want Web2 app funnels without building a. Building a single thing. Web2Wave. Web2Wave Now Services builds and builds and run funnels for you, for you with. Available as add on or. Or you can use. You can use no code platform yourself yourself. Payment integration. Friends, friends, AI. Creative generation build either way. Either way, launch faster. More of your revenue revenues using web. Go check them out. Go check them out. Web is web22wavewave.com web. That's another two. The number two wave.com. M. All right, stop. Let's get into the dad jokes as well. So I've got this ready to go as well. Oh, Echo. Sorry, Leo. Yeah, my bad. I have to stop sharing the audio on that. Hey, you gotta tell me that earlier. My bad. All right, I will do. I will fix that. I thought
Speaker B: it was me. I thought it was me. No, I was desperately trying to do something here, but.
Speaker A: Oh, sorry. Um, yeah, I see it. Okay, so we're gonna do the dad joke round. I will fix it for later. I had to share my audio, but next. Next week it will be better. The let's get into that joke round stuff. You want to go first?
Speaker B: Yeah, sure. So why, uh, don't skeletons fight each other?
Speaker A: Why?
Speaker B: They don't have the guts.
Speaker A: I like it. And H did tell me. Sorry, H. I didn't hear you. Uh, okay. Yeah, I know. Sorry, Leo. The joke I have. And if you guys vote, all you got to do is vote. And we were going to give you a free indie app Santa promo. We're gathering more data and coming back with the, uh, data to show you guys whether Indie Appsana is still working. And it is, you know, spoiler alert. It is still working, but we got some free open slots for you guys. All you got to do is vote. So you got stavs and then I'll tell my joke. Um, here's what I'm gonna go with. Okay, because you're talking about muscles stuff. What do you call a pumpkin that works out?
Speaker B: No idea.
Speaker A: Uh, a jacked O lantern. All right, put S if you thought Stav's joke was better, and I'll put go P if you thought my joke was better for Steve P. Young. And then, hey, we'll do the spinning wheel, and we'll give away an indie app Santa promo on. On us. All right, stop. I'm gonna go into this app. It is px. They just want more downloads, so maybe you can come up with some ideas on how we can get them more downloads. But it's, um, you know, it's like a. Looks like a photo swipe, photo delete type of app here.
Speaker B: I already have some very sinister hooks for you.
Speaker A: Oh, yeah.
Speaker B: Uh, you should do like, um. It's like, you can clean that your photos, right? Or.
Speaker A: Yeah.
Speaker B: Ah. Uh, it's not with AI if it was. If you added any AI editing. First of all, consider adding some AI editing option if it's possible, where you mark something and remove it from the image, just in case you, uh. So it's not only to clean your space. You allow them to edit images. It might increase interest. I can tell you. And if you're advertising this app, I don't know if you're advertising or not, then I would do that. I kind of like, you know, delete the girl from the picture or,
Speaker A: uh,
Speaker B: you know, you went wild last night and you kind of like, you mask it and like, boom. Nope, you didn't. You know, you're just at McDonald's with friends, whatever. That's just what came to my mind. Um, try to. It's not as complicated as you imagine to add some AI elements to your app. I would say I see this an old school utility app. Try to open your mind just to add a few things or at least test some features with AI because you will gain a lot more. Um, uh, people talking about the app with their friends and say, look, this is cool. I clean up my photos and videos, but I also can do some stuff with it, you know, and usually it's not very expensive. And it will also allow you to capitalize more on in app purchases in case you have anything. You probably have something like more, I don't know, volume. I have no idea. Think about it. Because now they can buy little packages, other things. So you could expand more revenue from this. Just. I hope it helps. I don't know.
Speaker A: Yeah, I like it. And then the other thing I would say is I think this category is interesting. I know it's a little bit crowded now. I don't like your ASO at all. I think it's too. I know you're going after cleanup, which is a very big app in this space. You're never going to beat them. It's their brand. And so we, we've dealt with apps like this before where we've been able to get traction. And so there's still some opening here. But you're gonna have to do more extensive ASO research if you're not running ads because there's still room in the market. I don't really like the screenshots. I think it's kind of, um, you know, doesn't look pretty. That's all. I would say they're ugly.
Speaker B: Use Claude. Use Claude for a new set.
Speaker A: Like, look at this. This looks way better versus yours. And I wouldn't go after it.
Speaker B: Also, look at the. How it works. Right. First the most strong use case and then two more problems. So it's like. Only I'm not talking about just showing one action. I think one of the we. That's the scene I also have sometimes as a founder, we show features. We don't show the problems we solve for our users. And users don't care about features. They don't think about features. They think about what. What problems does it solve for me that I should download this app? You know,
Speaker A: I like it. All right, let's get into the app and let's see what we can do. Let's get rid of this one. Oh man. See, this is what always happens when I share it too soon. Try to set it up and try to have everything ready for when we hit all this. Let's see if this works. Okay, perfect. Px. All right. Storage problems again. The UI UX pretty bad. Delete. Duplicate. Re. Uh, up space quickly. Press videos. Sure, why not?
Speaker B: Mhm.
Speaker A: Okay. Uh, I'm not trying to go through my photos with you guys. All right.
Speaker B: God knows what will come across at some point. Uh,
Speaker A: this is my test phone too. So it's kind of like.
Speaker B: It's a burner phone.
Speaker A: It's a burner phone. Okay, continue. Allow. What do you think about that swipe feature? Stop. In the very beginning, would you like it that I'm interacting with the app a little bit?
Speaker B: I, uh, somehow. I somehow felt like in the new era people become much more lazy and also dependent on AI.
Speaker A: Yeah, I
Speaker B: would somehow like the first thing that happened that it will just suggest the plan to me, what's the problem and how it can help immediately, rather than let me swipe left and right, which is a nice thing. I like it. But I think it should be like, hey, Steve, guess what? Your phone is like, fucked up. I already found this, this, this, and 25 duplicates. If you want, approve and I'll just delete or review and then approve and it will delete. And then I feel, oh, wow, I just started it, already solved my problem. And then it will tell me, Steve, if you have time, there's also this fun keyboard or delete thing if you want to do it just Zen when you're waiting at the dentist for your turn, you know. So, uh, yeah, I feel
Speaker A: I like it. I like it. This is, this is then like the swiping stuff. I agree with you. Stop. And I think it would, you know, like, we're all lazy. We want the outcome but not the work. And so I think if you show the outcome, like, hey, we found. And I've seen other apps like this show you like, hey, we found like 400 duplicate photos that can save more room to think that screen is good enough versus making me work and do all the swiping stuff.
Speaker B: Also think about another thing. The first impression that you have. You have only one chance to make a first impression, right? And in apps, the patience is so small. We are already a, uh, decade into the App Store era,
Speaker A: which
Speaker B: is soon coming to an end. So I need to give this onboarding feeling that it solved my pain extremely fast. I have no time. I have less than two or three seconds inside the app. So it has to be clear onboarding what's going to happen and how it solved my problem. I pressed a button, my problem is solved or started to get solved. Uh, okay, this was great. Now I'm staying. Now I'm not deleting. You know, now I might consider to see what's else in there. Now I might tell somebody else about it. See the point.
Speaker A: I love it. And I would try a three day trial on the weekly. We've seen that perform a bit better than doing like a seven day trial because I think you're gonna find a lot more cancellations when you give seven days versus three days. That's just my hypothesis for that. All right, Nat, that is it. Uh, anything else you want to cover here? Stuff before we go to the winner of the dad joke round?
Speaker B: Let's go for the winner.
Speaker A: All right, my friend. Well, we got a lot of P's, I apologize. And we got one S for you.
Speaker B: Uh, sorry, my friend. I do this all the time.
Speaker A: This is not that funny anymore. All right, H is here. H, I apologize. You did tell me about the echo. All right, H, you want to spin that wheel? You ready to go? Oh, yes. Let's give away a free promotion. Oh, perfect. I think Art deserves it. All right, Art, it's you. Just reach out to me. Just send an email to Steve appmasters.com and then I'll, um, get you in touch with H, and then he'll set it all up. I need to get set up H at App Masters, so we'll set that up too. So if you want to send an email to H at App Masters, you can do that as well. All right, let's go into round two. Do you want to make up for it or you. You're good. Huh? Huh? You're gonna take the L.
Speaker B: Ah, you want to try again?
Speaker A: It's up to you, my friend. I want to give you another opportunity. I know how sad you are. So if you want to try.
Speaker B: Okay, I have, I have, I have one. I have. Okay,
Speaker A: go for it.
Speaker B: What do you call a witch who lives at the beach?
Speaker A: What?
Speaker B: A sandwich.
Speaker A: All right. I like it. All right, the, uh, let me see. I'll do this one. Why don't mummies take vacation? St.
Speaker B: Because they're too busy.
Speaker A: Yeah, no, they're too afraid to unwind. There you go. All right, once again, we'll give away another one if you guys want. So P for me, for Steve, P. Young, and then put s first Stav, and then let's see if we can make Stav happy. Oh, CR. It's already coming in. Sorry. ST. All right, we'll go last.
Speaker B: All right. I think if there's a bias here, I think you just brought all your friends to, you know, to.
Speaker A: Yes, there is. There's a big buy. Sorry, Leo said. Fine. There's no bias. All right, we'll get into. Okay, see, Jamie's coming around. We got the WAD app, so that's workout of the day. I think for CrossFitters, they onboarding and conversion, we can go straight into that. But anything you want to highlight from just the app Store presence stuff? Uh,
Speaker B: I wonder. I'm m very curious because I as a former CrossFit enthusiast, so I'm a little bit aware of this as well. I, I, I, I was wondering if the person share the bit. What are they struggling with? Like, to get people to pay or to get people to download or both. Or what's the kind of. What's the pain point right now with this? Or it's nothing to discuss.
Speaker A: Yeah, I don't know. I wonder if it's just a generator or you just see it, like, what the wad is. But, yeah,
Speaker B: because I felt like. Like the people who are hardcore. Let's say the hardcore, um, CrossFitters, they would pay for a lot of stuff, but then they would go to the official sources, and then I felt like, okay, so there will be some what app? But I would look for the official one
Speaker A: because
Speaker B: I'm a crossfitter and I don't do other brands. So it's like, so what am I getting here that will make me either download or either pay? That's what I'm curious about, you know?
Speaker A: Yeah. Interesting feedback. I, uh, like it. Uh, okay, let's get into the app because they want to help on the conversion side. What is up with my screen sharing? Geez Louise. Maybe it's some privacy issue. They do like the nice preview all. Uh, right, here's what we're gonna do stuff. I'm gonna give you that win. You got the one win. All
Speaker B: right. All right.
Speaker A: Art, Leo, Jamie and Mo, you guys all get a free promo on us. So just email H at Masters, and then we'll. We'll set you all up. Let's. Let's just give it all away. It's Halloween. All right, all right, we'll get into the app. Uh, you know, it's conversion. Your personalized training starts here. I like the video.
Speaker B: Okay. Yeah, this is pretty good. Yeah.
Speaker A: Okay. Mail.
Speaker B: Okay. Straightforward,
Speaker A: please. Not too long. Oh, man. Imperial. Okay.
Speaker B: I mean, if you are into CrossFit, you'll. You. You'll be able. Okay. Pretty. Pretty cool. Let's do it.
Speaker A: I like both. Oh, didn't notice that I tapped or anything. How do you plan to use it? Work. Okay.
Speaker B: I don't know. I felt. I felt. Actually, this stage, I feel a little bit. Is confusing because, like, what do you want from me, man? I just downloaded your app. Why do you ask me how I'm going to use it? This is more like the Windows experience compared to Mac, so it would
Speaker A: be.
Speaker B: If you want to convert me, just tell me. Here's how you. Here's how you could use it, you know?
Speaker A: Yeah.
Speaker B: Treat it as your main program, you see, Just to, uh. Okay. How many days per week? All right,
Speaker A: let's go.
Speaker B: Uh, yeah,
Speaker A: let's say. Let's say that
Speaker B: for m.
Speaker A: My goals. Handstand walks. I guess that would be my goals.
Speaker B: But this was a little bit confusing as well, because it's like, muscle up and this stuff is calisthenics. So what am I. Yeah,
Speaker A: okay. I like that. I like this commitment stuff. Very good, Very good. This is where I feel like you should put testimonials. There you go. Good. Apple's not rejecting all of this anymore. For those who are like, should I ask for a review on onboard? Yes, it works. Okay. I like this. Testimonials. Oh, I don't like this, but okay.
Speaker B: Saying into savior plan. Yeah,
Speaker A: let's see. I mean, look at the. Your numbers, Carlos. This is Carlos's app. If you have a huge drop off, the one thing that I'm trying to optimize for during the onboarding is not only like, getting user data, but also, like getting them to pay. So paywall is very interesting. I'm gonna skip this. Your program's ready. Let's make. Okay, open it. Oh, I don't like that. I don't like I have to press this at all.
Speaker B: So it seems like it's a hard paywall, uh, app, right. That you really try to get the sign up and you really try to get the payment asap, kind of.
Speaker A: Or
Speaker B: you rather that the, uh,
Speaker A: there's a timer and then there's a generator and then there's a program. But I would just show the paywall. I wouldn't want to make people tap, like, here's your plan. Blank bang, here's your go. So total bars. Well, you want to do this stuff.
Speaker B: By the way, do you find it that not giving any value is, uh, converting better? Because I thought that in apps it would be less forgiving. Like, for example, because it's apps. There are so many. What apps? Everywhere. There's everything. Like, I could. Why shouldn't I get a little bit of taste to understand if I want to pay for this? You know what I mean? I don't know. But I don't know how the fun, how he's. How it works for him, because I feel my first blocker is signing up to see anything inside. I don't know how accustomed is that? And I feel. I don't know. So here. You will lose 90% of people, probably even if it's for free.
Speaker A: Yeah.
Speaker B: Uh, maybe they're afraid of privacy, of getting hacked, or they don't know who they're giving the email to. They don't want to get spammed, so they will just leave. So now you. You don't know if you could convert them, then the ones that did all of a sudden have very limited functionality. So I don't know yet if I'm going to use this or it's good for me in any way, but I'm not going to get the chance either. And a timer, I don't care. I have it in my watch, in my m. Clock, whatever, Garmin. So now I'll just click on something that will tell me, pay me money. And I think to myself, hey, dude, I actually didn't get anything yet from you. And I don't know. And there's a million apps, so. But buy. You know that that's my, my feeling, you know?
Speaker A: Yeah, I, I. Well, with fitness apps, like, one of the fitness apps I showed you, a hard pay wall, does work pretty well. Stuff like. And so we've seen fitness apps do well with hard pay wall. And I do see that he does have a freemium option I honestly like, because it's more niche. I would just hard pay wall them. And then there's ways around it to not do a hard paywall, but that's how I would do it. And I would get rid of this. Free versus Pro, in my opinion. We have. I used to say long paywalls do perform better, and we are seeing that certain categories. Long paywalls do perform better. And then when people are testing long paywalls where it did not work, I said, remove this, like, feature table. And then when people did, they did see, uh, a benefit to it. Just like. Because I feel like when you see a features table, I'm just looking for what I can get away with for free and. Right. Like. And I don't want you to know what you can get away with for free. For free. I want you to lean on the benefits because I'm excited right now. I download your app for the first time, opened it. I'm very excited. I'm more likely to pay now than I am tomorrow because, you know, you got me. And so I almost would relieve. Get rid of this and just talk about some of the best features and the benefits of the app. Uh, versus telling them what you can get away for free. They'll. They'll. We'll stick with it. We can get away with it for free. We'll. We'll do that. Right? All right, Stuff. Well, congratulations on the win. We'll end on a tie. How about that stuff?
Speaker B: Yeah, I mean, uh, or, or if you want, we can do another one if you have time. No, let's.
Speaker A: Let's end on that, Ty.
Speaker B: Okay.
Speaker A: Just so nobody leaves Unhappy. The website, if you guys want to go check it out, it is MaxFusion AI again, connected to your Claude. You can do everything within Claude, just like I showed you my Claude to create those ads for my app to too. And then I'll kind of report back and show you guys what I've been doing for my app to, to give you the numbers behind all these ads. I've got a few more questions for you. Uh, any budget recommendations for Meta ads? What's your approach for a low budget app?
Speaker B: I mean, Steve, you would be much smarter than me on that. Like, you are spending, uh, on all your ad portfolio, like, all the time.
Speaker A: Well,
Speaker B: what would you say? Uh,
Speaker A: yeah, Leo, I would say, like, even, you know, the people I've talked to, it is true. You can start off with something small, but honestly, like, figure out the funnel and be ready to go. So really do your analysis and be ready to spend 300 a day. And that's what I'm going to be doing for my app. And so I've set up all this campaign. I've got all my ads that I created through Max Fusion. And next week we're going to do a, uh, start trial campaign for $300 a day and just let it go and let it fly. And one of the things that I learned was I didn't give it enough creatives stuff to like.
Speaker B: Yeah, exactly.
Speaker A: Um, so that's why I want at least 10, and I'll be using a lot more through Max Fusion to test out different ones.
Speaker B: That's the idea, by the way, to say that we see these days that people scale to hundreds of creatives, you know, so it's not the, the good old days. So, yeah, that's the, the upside. Andromeda can target very specific personalities and show them the ad if it's good. The downside, it's expensive. Now you have to pay much more money or you won't get enough ads into rotation, you know?
Speaker A: Yeah. And certain people have different philosophies. And the, uh, philosophy I'm going to go with is put all these, you know, some people will tell you put video and statics in different ad sets so it targets different audiences. I've heard from people in our community that just put them all in one ad set and let Meta do its thing. So
Speaker B: that's the
Speaker A: approach I'm going to take.
Speaker B: Yeah, exactly. Just put them all in one bucket. Let, let the algorithm do its thing, you know.
Speaker A: Yeah, that's what I'm going to be doing as well. All right, well, Hi. You're kind of late, but I'll say hi to back to you. All right. Once again, it is MaxFusion AI stuff. If the audience wants to connect with you in any other way, do you want to send them anywhere else?
Speaker B: Yeah, I mean, give them my X, uh, profile or on LinkedIn. I mean, X probably is better. Let's.
Speaker A: We'll update it to. I think we have your LinkedIn on your. The show notes. Right Age. We have the LinkedIn on the show notes.
Speaker B: Yeah. So, uh, uh, take this as well. I'll give you in the private chat like the X. And. And, um,
Speaker A: it is Addx. Mighty King. Mighty.
Speaker B: Yeah. Uh, that's my oldest nickname. Yeah, exactly. So
Speaker A: I love it, man. This is great. Well, it is Max Fusion. And guys, for a Halloween special we are giving, we do have an app founders community where we talk a lot of shop about some of those strategies that are working for indies today. And if you want access to this community, you want 25 off the community and courses on the annual plan, just email H and he will hook you up. So we don't have a promo code. You're gonna have to email h, ah, h.comor.co and he will forward you on and take care of you and give you that 25 offer. All right, stuff, thank you so much for coming on doing this.
Speaker B: Yeah, thanks. Um,
Speaker A: go ahead.
Speaker B: I'm really happy to join this, uh, Steve. And I'm. I was the most happy that you started just using it for your ads and this. Cool. Like.
Speaker A: Yeah, no, I'm excited too. And, uh, you've made it. You've built a great product, man. I'm not just saying that because we're working together, but I mean it because I did. You literally saw all my creatives and my job, and so I'm doing it for clients too. And I'm like, this is so easy. And so this is why I brought it up. I was like, you know, where's the starting point? Because for me, I felt like a little bit overwhelmed. I didn't know where
Speaker B: to
Speaker A: start. And obviously you made it a lot easier for me. But once I started, I got addicted. And so I would just say, start with that research. Just tell it simple prompts or dictate simple prompts, and you'll see the magic happen and go from there. All right, that's it.
Speaker B: Next
Speaker A: week we got Shane, whose app we audited a few weeks ago. He's going to come on and share his success story. I love talking to Indy. So he's going to talk about his approach. And we've got some more indie success stories in November. All right, that is it. Stop anything. Any parting words
Speaker B: you want
Speaker A: to say?
Speaker B: And, um, happy Halloween, guys. Make money, get rich. Go party. I don't know. That's all I have to say.
Speaker A: Thanks, Joe. Joe's gonna come on later, too. And thanks, Leo. All right, guys, have a great weekend. And I'll see you, uh, next week, every Friday, 9am Pacific. Happy Halloween to everybody. Bye.
