In today’s vulnerable solo episode, I’m sharing a part of my story I’ve sat with for a long time: infidelity in my 37-year marriage and how God didn’t just help us survive - He redeemed us. This isn’t about perfection or “doing it right.” It’s about truth, responsibility, forgiveness, surrender, and a whole lot of grace . I open up about the reality that betrayal happened in our marriage - and that I was unfaithful too - because healing can’t grow where there’s blame-shifting or denial. I share how those early years were tender and painful, how we had to stop keeping score, tell the truth even when it hurt, and choose forgiveness as obedience - over and over again. Most importantly, we invited the Lord into the mess “just as we were,” and He brought freedom where there used to be fear. If you’ve walked through betrayal before - or you’re in it right now - please hear me: you’re not alone, you’re not crazy, and you’re not disqualified. Every situation is different, and there’s no one “right” path. My prayer is that this episode reminds you that God is near to the brokenhearted, and nothing surrendered to Him is ever wasted .
