GC Talk with Boe Ellis · 2026-03-06 · 34 min
Episode notes
He moved to New England for an internship, and he never left. And in just 10 short years since, that unmarried, English-speaking gringo has become fluent in Portuguese, has married his Brazilian pastor's daughter, has become father to a new baby; he is also a school teacher, and a co-pastor of a Portuguese-English-speaking, Brazilian congregation in Boston, MA. Meet Josh Rowley. One of the leaders of the Celebration Church Planting Network, and the Celebration Church campus in Middleton MA in the North Shore, just 20 minute north of downtown on US 1. Pastor Josh is a native of Springfield MA. He is a Liberty University graduate who didn't originally set out to be a missionary or a pastor, but God had a different idea. Josh has been meaningfully engaged in discipling second-gen, next-gen students and adults to be about the work and the mission of Christ in New England, in the US and in Brazil.
