Mke Kahn is pastor to the pastors - more than 150 pastors in the Tampa Bay Baptist Association. Since taking on the role of Mission Strategist in 2013, Pastor Mike has led out of a vision to "encourage, equip and multiply" first the man and then the leader with specific emphases in evangelism, in prayer and discipleship. Pastor Mike was an engineer who pursued seminary training at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary after completing his undergrad. He went to serve on staff with Pastor Ken Whitten at Idlewild Bapsit Church in Lutz (Tampa Bay) for 19 years, before answering the call to lead the TBBA. Today, he partners with the Florida Baptist Convention and the SBC to shepherd and steward a staff, signific real estate and other assets, and a $500K annual budget. But, most of all, Pastor Mike is about leading and growing men who are called to shepherd and lead in the local church, investing in their lives, their wives and families, and in their and ministries.
