"I am SO excited to be on my way to Vegas!" In just a few days, AICPA & CIMA's annual ENGAGE conference begins in Las Vegas. It's a global gathering of accounting and finance professionals often seen as the profession's premier event of the year. One of the most popular content tracks is "CPA Practitioners and Tech+" and to tell us about it, we're joined by Carl Peterson, the Association's VP for Small Firm Interests. Our Guest. Carl Peterson , CPA, is Vice President of Small Firms Interests at the American Institute of CPAs. In this role, he serves as the small firm advocate and representative for the profession. Carl has a history volunteering within the profession, including having served as a member of the AICPA Council and as a member of the AICPA's Accounting and Review Services Committee. In 2013, he was honoured by the Society with their Distinguished Service Award. Resources.
